This is the machine I bought to replace my nearly 50 year old machine. I love it! It has enough stitch variety to be super fun but not so many that you'll never use. It really does sew fast! And it can sew through many layers at a time. I love it. I'm so happy you have it too!

Nice vid! Very well done. I'm a dude and i grew up watching my grandmother stitch/sew by hand. So my entire life i've been sewing by hand, but i've NEVER been good at it. But now, i want to buy the 4423 and learn how to use it. Thanks for the encouragement👍

@@jennyandrews1159 Hi, I haven't used it a whole lot but it works really well. It had no trouble sewing a few layers of a thick and sturdy curtain. I would certainly recommend it if it's within your budget

Thank you for making this video! I’ve always wanted to learn how to sew with a machine but have always been hesitant. I purchased this same sewing machine and was kinda wondering if I should have or not 🤣😅 After this video I feel less intimidated knowing everything on this machine and how it works! I really do think that when I have my machine i’ll be able to learn how to sew finally!

Video was so informative. Not sure if you mentioned it but the duster brush should also have a seam ripper attached to it. If you pull off the top! Just found it after I watched your video! Thank you!
When they released the 4432 version in black I was sold. Now to learn….
That little brush has a seam ripper on the other end if you pull it apart.

Yeah it's the perfect machine if you want to keep setting the timing every five jobs or less. You breathe on this machine it goes out of time. luckily it's easy to fix

Hi Everyone :) I'm looking for a machine that is durable, will last long, NO screen/lcd or any other unnecessary electronics (they break, i don't need them, just want simple), has automatic needle-threader, has top-loading bobbin and uses plastic class-15 bobbins. Has all the basic stitches and stretch-stitch for elastics.
I'm considering Singer Heavy Duty 4452, as I will need to sew through leather and jeans occasionally. But I heard Singers break a lot (local sewing repair shop told me). Any suggestions pretty please?
How come I cannot run through in sewing fabric. I just bought same sewing machine brand but I got correctly as instructed by singer apps. but when I tried to sew it’s not moving. I haven’t got the chance to try and figure it out whats wrong.

Electric... She plugs one end of the cord into the machine at the beginning of the video. The other end goes into a wall socket. Then, just turn the switch on... bingo !
Perhaps you meant " Is it manual or computerized ?" This model is not computerized... you have to pay more for one of those. Perhaps you can check for a youtube video of a computerized sewing machine to see the difference.
