    i have ramps, and yea, its a process, unfold them, strap them to hitch so they dont slide, slowly guide bike down, unstrap ramps, fold up, store in back of truck and need to lock up while riding. is it difficult? no, but this method i fine easier, quicker, and just less equipment. especially if you just go a slight decline. he could have reduced the height of this entire process by the looks of it by just moving his truck a few inches forward too.

  • @erwinroman4217
    @erwinroman4217 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I do this but instead of loading in the center of the bed, do it near the side so I can walk it in once it’s in the truck. I have tie-downs ready in bed and hook one to the handlebar and lean the bike away. Then I get in the bed, center the bike and secure it with both tie-downs.

    For those commenting about they can't do this coz they're weak or something, u probably shouldn't even own a dirtbike in the first place.
    (No offense, but its for your own good).
    Trust me on this, u gotta be at least strong to own a dirtbike.
    My cousin is 5'7 and weighs 120-125 lbs, owns a 250cc dirtbike, there's a time wherein he took the wrong dirt turn on a berm and he had fallen off his bike, he couldn't stand up after the bike has fallen over his left leg and needed my help just to stand the bike up.
    He's ok for the most part but he got bruises on his thighs and surprisingly, no broken bones coz I guess nothing hit his leg coz the handlebar was in the way except that his own bike was just heavy probably weighing around 150 kgs which is literally 3 times his own weight.
    If ur weak, better just get a mountain bike.

    I am a new rider, so new I havent even rode the bike I purchased yet. I have the same truck and bought a WR250r today. The owner had a ramp and when I got it home I watched this video a few times and than attempted it. It not only tore the top of the tailgate up on my truck but the bike turned while pulling off the tailgate and landed on my leg, busted up my elbow falling backwards, my knee has a big scrape and big bruise I have a huge bump sticking out if my shin and Im pretty sure my ankle is broken. In fact I drove myself to the ER early but didn’t get the Xrays because they were short staff and the wait (In ER) would have been over an hour. I am self treating it for tonight and it hurts. I do not recommend this to anyone - Its dangerous. I am 6’ 180 pounds and in good shape but 300 pounds dropping on your leg is 300 pounds dropping on your leg..… What a bummer… Laying in bed with my leg raised and iced typing this. One error and you could end up like I just did. 🤷‍♂️
