Thanks! I’m sure you’re doing great🤎 couldn’t agree more with milk, realised the key is getting the proper vortex but the angle and power of the steamwand’s hard to master🥲
Both of you does a very magnificent job at making the espresso, the shot was perfect. Well done 👍 If by chance you want to practice your latte art, you can use milk and cocoa powder (acting as a coffee base crema) and just pour it back to the jug after each latte art, it's a good way to practice without wasting any coffee or extra milk ( just the 1 cup you use) You can search youtube for more detailed specifics.
thank you so much! we really appreciate it🤎 we did try that but ended up going back to actual coffee so we get to taste our final products and hopefully identify what went wrong😂 - zee
hello there! we were actually considering to get the breville barista express but eventually decided on our current set up :) hope you're enjoying the coffee-making journey too🤎 - zee
Ok so one stupid comment and one productive: starting with the stupid one, if you really want to stop at 36g (personally, i dont believeinbeing that picky), stop a little earlier and worry about the switch and not the timer😂. And the productive point: Try a puck screen. I was really impressed with the improvement it made!
hahaha, I can't seem to get the timing right and my reaction time always varies😭 we did recently purchase a puck screen after seeing a few comments, will definitely try it out once it arrives! thanks for the tips~🤎 - zee
hello there! the beans we're currently using are from brazil. Couldn't agree more hahah! We've been unknowingly choosing beans from brazil. Guess the flavour profile's a little more familiar to us ;) - zee
Try to get fresh roasted beans, like 2 weeks+ from the roasting date, because i see there's no crema at the espresso, the yield and time are on point, i just think the beans already too old from roasting date, Nice vids btw, keep it up! 🙌🙌
hello! actually, the beans aren't too old, we used it 2-3 days after the roasting date so it might be too fresh? we're planning on getting beans earlier to let them degas (as per videos we've been watching) so hopefully the crema stays for a longer time as you mentioned. thanks for the tip tho, we'll definitely give that a go!😊 - zee
I really love your videos and now I'm with team Jon
Thank you! Glad that you are loving the videos as much as we do! It's not a competition but thank you for being TEAM JON!! hahaha -Jon

Your latte art was incredible. I wish I could reach that level. Congratulations on your dedication.
Thank you but it wasn’t what I was hoping for hahah. Still working on it!💪🏻 - zee
This i s awesome. I am on my second week.... struggling with getting the perfect milk and pouring latte art :)
It takes time and practise! :)

I like this style of videos with subtitles explaining each thing :) now I want a coffee
aww, thank you! we were thinking it might be a little boring without subtitles hahah. Enjoy! - zee
It took me a few months of daily attempts on a Breville Barista Express
hello there! we were actually considering to get the breville barista express but eventually decided on our current set up :) hope you're enjoying the coffee-making journey too🤎 - zee

@@thegroundedduo sure, it is enjoyable! :)

@@y0d4 the beans are from brazil and they are medium roast. And have a flavour profile of dark chocolate, honey and apricot :) - zee

What coffee do you and your husband like/use for your espresso ? I like coffee from Brasil 🇧🇷

Very sweet again. I feel like I could use some help 😅
Thank you! We are no experts but we can learn and get better from each other :) - Jon
