I just got some Paiste Signature Reflector Cymbals, but now I wish I new the Explosions are warm sounding and not just loud! Darn!!! I love Soultone and use their 22" Patina Ride and 14" Patina HH and 10" Gospel Splash. Ahhh!!! Paiste is great, but I did not know I could get the sound I needed for my crashes with Soultone! Of course, now that I look, I do not see them on sale anywhere anyway...
Great sounding cymbals! I'm wondering. I'm currently playing Sabian Paragon cymbals and like their sound. If I were to switch to your cymbals, which line of yours would be comparable? I play rock music. I listened to all of your lines of cymbals. I'm leaning towards Your Gospel, Custom Brilliant and your Extreme series. Thank you for your time. Russ
I hate to break it to the drumming community but if you like the tone of these type of cymbals try some wuhans. Wuhan makes brightly polished B20 crashes and rides and hats very similar to what you're hearing. But you will pay about half the price and just as durable. Yes you have to search them out and find the good sounding ones but just like with soultone each one is its own personality and no 2 sound alike.
Guys, I'm starting to think that Soultone cymbals are underrated.
