You two could participate in any debate with anyone and present facts calmly and with a measured tone. Watch the video with Dr Shawn Baker and the veterinarian. He is an old school vet. He was trained in the 1979s. Dogs are carnivores and he only advocates raw meat for dogs and cats. Pet food companies make billions selling pet food. It doesn't mean it's healthy or their proper diet. Dogs are now getting arthritis and cancer and cataracts because of the pet food. I have a Cavalier King Charles. She only eats raw beef and chicken. Also ground chicken bones. The vet's name is Dr Ian Billinghurst. He has also written books about it. Search him on TH-cam.

I know fruit juices are really bad because it makes your sugar really high and I had bad headache with large smoothy and now I know what is pre diabetic I am not but I got slight idea of what happens when you quickly consume high amount of sugar via fruits smoothy...so may be moderate amounts of medium sweet fruits are low residue fruits but whole and not as juices...

Paul Mason have you looked into the information Tucker Goodrich has accumulated around seed oils? It really is the sheer volume of linoleic acid, whether oxidised by cooking or not. LA is prone to oxidation within the body too, and the metabolites of LA are also extremely toxic (HNE 4 etc). We may need traces but it ends there.

Easy peasy (a) says seed oils are oxidized right from the FACTORY. Eaten in ABNORMAL quantities (e.g. how much sunflower seeds can you eat as opposed to how much of sunflower seed oil you eat every day with fries, pizzas and all the boxed industrial foods). Polyunsaturated, oxidized oil displaces saturated fat from the cell mebrane and leads to cell malfunction. Just a few that come to mind. (b) says seed oils replace your intake of saturated fat and thus lower cholesterol and thus you avoid CVD (if you think high HEALTHY cholesterol is the CAUSE of heart attacks). You just have to educate yourself and then choose between a and b.

As humans evolved, seed oils were near impossible to come by in quantity. Only in whole seed un-farmed form.
Today, we practically swim in the stuff. It gets stuffed into everything. We down it by the jug.
That is why I always try to avoid eating it. I recognize that my body is not evolved to process it in quantity.

At best tou can say the biome is the stomach environment developed in response to what is consumed.

I really like Paul but with the seed oils, he is a bit of or contradictory, potential also for legal or other reasons? I don't know. In essence yes omega-6 is bad because it's a PUFA that easily oxidizes. That's the contraction, saying they aren't bad then saying why seed oils are bad due to oxidation (which only happens because omnega-6 is polyunsaturated).
I also advise Paul to check up on how and who actually determined omega-6 is essential in human adults. It's same as with high LDL is bad. it's not actually based on hard science and more on hearsay, culture. Adults can certainly go years without any (due to the amounts stored in fat). the amount needed is extremely tiny and you will get enough even when trying to completely avoid because it's in small amounts in any fat/oil. Ironically they also talk about facts that nobody knows where they come from and this is true for essential fats as well.
So seed oils are indeed bad because of omega-6, linoleic acid which metabolites to arachidonic acid from which many very bad things can be made or affect your endocanabinoid system making you eat more. or the recent study showing a clear link between arachidonic acid metabolites in the umbilical cord and ASD disorders. omega-6 IS itself even in unoxidized state a signaling molecule and a precursor to more signaling molecules that can lead to very bad things. So the source doesn't matter, nuts should be avoided too or pork due to high omega-6 content in their fat.
I do agree plant sterols are bad and that is why seed oils are to terrible. it's multiple bad things in one bottle that explains diabetes, cancer, alzheimers and heart disease.

It’s only countries with broad fertile acres that can provide for a carnivore diet.
Most countries are too poor to run livestock.
Those countries known for longevity don’t eat much meat.
Carnivore diets are for the wealthy.

I spend less now on carnivore (2 meals per day) than when I was eating plants; I've been eating only animal based foods for nearly six years and at age 65 I'm in the best health of my adult life. Livestock is often the only way that poor countries can provide proper nutrition. Ruminants can even eat dry fallow. The countries you refer to that have longevity is largely a false premise. For example, the Okinawans that are so lauded for surpassing 100 yrs of age, were reveled to have taken the identity of deceased neighbors and relatives to receive their gov benefits (besides they eat lots of pork). The investigation revealed 250,000 of such cases.

@@luckyhanger1326 I've been carnivore nearly 6 years and in the best health of my life at age 65. I take no pharma or supplements; I see no doctors. I do not burden our already deficient medical system. I was already low carb for a decade and it was simply not enough. Lab ranges, including those of vitamins and minerals, are not representative of the carnivore fed body. All ranges are averages of a very unhealthy populations and, again, do not represent a meat nourished human. Look into anthropology of human nutrition. I recall reading a study led by anthropologists that found preserved remains of humans from thousands of years ago; analysis of healthy young adults revealed normal cholesterol levels of 500, and as much as 1000 in pregnant females. If the premise of "high" cholesterol is false, then it's reasonable to question everything else. I do myself with a doctors influence, currently about every 2 yrs, and interpret the results myself with the knowledge I have accrued over the years and knowing my body as a carnivore. It's not difficult.
