I've tried many ways to create a 'glass' look pool, in vain lol & your vid is very helpful and will definitely try it - thanks for the tutorial!

How did you get the inside of the lounge to be flat on the sides? When I use the flatten to height tool, the sides are at a slope?
any chance you figured out what was happening?
That happens if you have tiles underneath the pool. Remove the pool, make sure there are no tiles on the ground, then flatten again.

Thank you so much! This build is available on the gallery, my ID is blondie-deb and the build name is Pinnacle Villa. The actual fire pit is made up using a lamp from Get Famous and a base game fountain ☺️
The fire pits that I used in the tutorial itself are from the outdoor retreat pack

Apologies for late reply. This is in Del Sol Valley, the world that came with Get Famous, and the lot that I'm doing the tutorial on is the one in the Pinnacles, on the right.
why i dont have the foundation stuff to make the glass pool? how did you get it?
You need to make sure you have enabled the cheats, in particular bb.showhiddenobjects, if this doesn’t work try testingcheats true first and then the hiddenobjects one - hope this works!

Hey, was just wondering how you managed to do the other little pool feature to the left of the main pool. Also the bit under the balcony, I’m trying to do something similar but because the build is on a platform because of the pool I cant put any objects on the platform wall🥺

So I made this tutorial before the platforms update came out - there is another way to do it now. Make your pool including the cut-out shape. In the cutout create a basement (only up to where you will place the stairs). Then, remove the ceiling of the basement so you expose the room underneath, and raise the floor of the basement using the up arrow that you use to raise a platform, until it’s at the right height (aka height of a couch). You should then be able to add stairs in the entrance. Hope this technique works for you!
My terrain won't lower like that I've done exactly what u did and it didn't work

I’m afraid I don’t know, I play on PC! I’m sure there would be a tutorial on TH-cam about using terrain tools for console players ☺️
