- In this Sims 4 tutorial, I am showing you 6 simple building and decor tricks WITHOUT CUSTOM CONTENT! If you want to learn how to create a play area, a walk-in shower, a cosy window seat, a fireplace within a wall, a bathtub tucked away in a corner or an L-shaped sofa, this tutorial is definitely right for you!

The fireplace trick is the most creative use of platforms I've seen yet!

For the shower divider: another trick is placing a half wall and placing a large window that fits your taste (you will need moveobjects on for this)

This is amazing! I tried the shower one, but I just wanted a single pane of glass, and the clear floor made it like 6, so I used a window, then deleted the wall & it looks good. I never would have thought of making a custom shower without you! I haven't tried any of the others, but I'm definitely going to try out the headboard one. The toddler bed/play thing is awesome, but I literally NEVER play with toddlers because they're the literal worst, but I might do it just for fun on a random build...
Thank you 🥰 I’m so glad you’ve found it useful! If you want only one panel, you can also use a divider from moschino which looks similar to the glass floor in style :) I do custom furniture ideas in every speed build of mine, it’s just so fun to come up with my own little bits and bobs 😍🥰

But what I love most is the note on the top right corner of your video. Instead of repeating what your using, it's simply always on the screen. When I first watch a few videos, most people don't say anything or half of the short cut and when your beginning, it's very frustrating (because hitting the 9 key doesn'tdo anything without hitting Alt at the same time). So thank you !

Btw for me I don’t have to hold Alt to raise objects with 9, idk why that is? I just press 9 and it raises items 😳

Oh yes thank you! It seems it doesn't work sometimes, on some objects so that's why I was confused.
Still, on most videos people don't say which key they use and when you don't know how they do some things, that's frustrating. At the same time, some people don't want to hear 50 times the same things so your idea is perfect!

Oh how I wish “tool mod” was available for PS5. I always thought a mod to rotate fully an object would be perfect. Such as placing the starfish from the island pack on the wall. Maybe one day, they will allow some mods. For Skyrim elder scrolls 5 they allowed a few GB of mods which was a game changer, literally. Your videos have really inspired me! So creative!
I know it doesn’t feel right not to have mods on console :( it’s such a shame which is why I uploaded some of the rooms with items already rotated so people don’t need to download tool! :/ I am really glad you’ve enjoyed my videos, happy to hear that 🥰😍

I haven’t been building good interiors lately, I’m absolutely fine at outside, infact I just finished and uploaded to the gallery a stable I made, but the interior of the house part was really ugly.

Hey! I tried making the window seat, but my sims were not able to step over any size of half wall. Is there a cheat or mod you used to get your sims to step over the half wall? I ended up using a debug wall, but it didnt match the other walls so it could be great if i could get this to work!
I didn’t use any mods, the only cheat you need for this is bb.moveobjects. Sometimes you may have to move the seat a bit closer towards the half wall (I think I used the second lowest one) :) lmk if it works!

What if you don't have stuff packs? Maybe you went over this but what would be the replacements
I don’t think there are actual replacements, otherwise I would have used base game ones to make the tricks more doable for everybody 😕 maybe look up some base game tricks on TH-cam I’m sure there’ll be loads :)

I tried the fireplace one with the tool mod but the plank just disappears when you rotate it I dont know what to do
Hi ! I love your designs, I tried to rotate the wooden planks by 90• and it disappears for some reason
That can be sometimes it can go very low / high sometimes so maybe if it was close to the floor before rotating it might go into the floor. Maybe try rotating again when the item isn’t too close to the floor or wall :)

Hi! I have an issue with the debug muffin form… and i descovered, than it stinksXD BUT
i was enough stopid for placing it to an unreachable place and when i tried to get rit of it, somehow i cant delete or “sledgehammer” it…i tried the pie menu, but its not showing for me.. i wrote every cheat and i did pipe it in the game options to be enable
But still cant acess into it🤷🏻♀️
Yeah unfortunately certain items can’t be deleted unless you use the “go back” feature :/
I know its not good to do it, but i have the Sims 4 downloáded, so i cant use EA account and some of these things i think, do you have some help for me, how to download those things ( like your shower idea) to my Sims game? I never did that
The only way you can download these is from the gallery unfortunately so you’ll need access to the gallery

So I can't figure out anywhere if there IS a way to flip items on their sides on console? I've seen so many PCs do it
It’s a mod, called TOOL mod, but consoles don’t allow for mods so unfortunately it’s not possible to do that unless you’re on pc :)

What I mean: when you were placing logs in the fireplace, there ones you were tilted, every single one you moved to the right.

Haha I didn’t notice that 😀 in actual builds I try to rotate items a lot so they don’t face the same way all the time, for tutorials I rush the process a bit 😋 happy to hear the tips were useful to you ☺️

Hi nein leider ohne eine der beiden gehts nicht :/ nur discover Uni und snowy escape haben solche duschen, kann aber beide packs empfehlen 🥰

The angst of being a console builder is not having the tool mod 😒
It’s so annoying that console users can’t have tool :( but that’s why I uploaded rooms with already rotated items so even console players can have these designs in their game :)

This with the glasses on the shower is a tool mod, and no trick! Just for pc and not for playstation player. This is not fair! 😡
That’s why I uploaded the shower as a room on my gallery so console players can use the already rotated items
@@EvaRotky My English is not so good. Therefore you only understand half of it. But as soon as you charge the shower on the Playstation, the glass is gone. Because as I once found out, objects that are changed by mods or generally cc are not displayed.
@@christinaisthaltso4310 that’s strange, I’ve had console players tell me it works when they download it from the gallery. Usually only items that automatically snap onto walls (like pictures for example) change back to normal rotation. Sorry to hear that
@@EvaRotky Maybe I'll try the download myself. But is the Playstation Gallery always says EA ID is that the same as origin ID? If I downloaded the shower but couldn't find your gallery. namely do not know whether the gallery on the playstation is different than on origin or pc.
@@christinaisthaltso4310 it’s the same, origin ID and EA ID is the same! If you look up my ID make sure you untick maxis curated, let me know if you struggle finding it still!
