I own one of these and cannot recommend it enough. so so so great. it runs well in front of my mesa, fender and marshall head equally and draws on the best qualities of all of them. Even Eric Johnson has got an xotic pedal on his board now!! If he plays them you know they must sound stellar! great demo of it bro. keep pluggin xotic!
Jack: What a great set of videos! If there's ever been a more thorough, pro-level review of an FX pedal, I'd certainly like to see it! I'm an amateur level guitar player, and I bought this little hummer, sight unseen a couple of years back, not really knowing what I was doing at the time, but it proved to be "dumb luck", because its easily become the most valuable tool in my tone quest. Kudos to Xotic FX on this truly great and versatile pedal, and kudos to you on an excellent and highly informative set of videos.
Fine demo....quite thorough. I'm generally NOT a fan of these dual-channel pedals, as per running one into the other; i generally find that the result is harsh, over-distorted, and pretty much obliterates the guitar's harmonics. I must admit, though, that this pedal comes out sounding pretty darn sweet. (I'm not totally surprised, because i have a BB preamp - the 'single-channel' original - and it is a beautiful-sounding pedal.) thanks and best rgds, Andrew B. (BTW-your hands are magic!)
Great demos on this BB dual. I have 6 drives and I have to have this one, great range of use. Sold. Dude below if you want to wait 9 mos on a KOT be my guest. Life is too short for me to wait on a pedal. KOT is a great pedal but a little production please. Prymaxe is offering the Timmy now, FYI. Xotic is top shelf. Great pedal. I think I like this one over the AC dual but both are great pedals. These are so easy to get, zZounds, 4 payments, daddy like!!
