Chase CSP needs to match multipliers of the Citi CSP. Then CSR needs to match that and add more to justify the AF without lounges and without inflated prices and inflated 1.5 Portal Bookings. I feel like if I'm paying that high fee - I need a point-earning machine like the Gold.
I’d like to defend the honor of the Hyatt Business Card, it is a true business card that requires you to put spend on it to get a return out of it. The WoH consumer card is a keeper card for most people with the AF earning you a free night and it’s good for putting your Hyatt charges on. I’d like the luxury WoH card to follow the Aeroplan card’s blueprint.
You're right on the WoH Biz card, it is a legit Business Card and the return can be awesome, especially if you're able to spend to Globalist (and it's true Globalist). I did exaggerate the chart some, but the category cycling is a bit of a worry. It's a fine card for Hyatt charging and then....the Ink Cash + Sapphire to cover everything else. A Luxury WoH Card that was like the Aeroplan would be awesome.
@ Amex is getting a lounge in Newark in 2026 but if we could either get access to United club there through the reserve I would make that my primary travel card. I was an AU for the platty on my nephews card (military so no fee) but now that ungrateful turd is using the AU for his wife. I got a bit spoiled going to lounges while waiting for flights. While I like Amex for the points is generates me I can’t deal with all those credits. Come on chase!!!
Really want a revamp of the WoH card. In regards to the Sapphire Reserve, not sure if they would ever make it “better”since Chase Project Emerald/Palm apparently has new products coming very soon that would stand above the Sapphire & below the JP Morgan Reserve.
A WoH refresh would be sweet. Project Emerald/Palm is vaporware until it’s not though. They need to make the Sapphire Reserve a card to get. But Emerald/Palm would also have downstream effects too.
I missed the 10x SUB last year for the CFF for up to $12k spend on groceries for 12 months. And I missed the unlimited double points SUB for the CFU last year. Damn, 5/24!!!!
Do you think there’s any chance that Chase, or any other card based portal, would implement their own loyalty program? Similar to what Expedia does? Such as stay 10 nights, you get gold status, which gets you things like free breakfast, free, parking, etc. at hotels that are willing to play along. Probably mostly smaller. Independent hotels. 🎄🤷♂️🤷♂️ Basically make your own rewards program to fit people like us who don’t travel enough to earn status with Hilton or Hyatt, but we still want something more satisfying than just Expedia or Travelocity.
If they updated the Preferred with Grocery instead of online Grocery, that’d be enough. Right now there’s no reason to drop the one Sapphire. But changes could make it a consideration. Very low on my wishlist.

Hoping the CSR does get better going forward!!! Thanks for the info + video!
I hope so...and I didn't even ask for crazy things!
Don’t plan on it. Chase ceo loathes the card.

Amen. Make the CSR 4x dining and travel and throw on a Starbucks credit. Card instantly becomes an absolute monster.
I don’t even think it’s a wish list, I think they have to make it better or it’s going to get out classed in every way.
They have made some improvements for sure; but yeah, I see where that’s coming from.

I would love them to add a lounge in Newark and Tampa. I fly mostly out of Philly but once year I fly from Newark and that is a lounge desert.
Sooooo many United Lounges. But, yeah. I would love to see them get into United Clubs.

Yeah I skipped over the Flex and missed on the Unlimited. But I will be looking for that Unlimited offer again.

I think if there’s an issuer that *Could* do it, it would be Chase given they own their travel platform. It could be a way to delve into travel more.
Did you hear about Venture x nirfing plaza premium? because priority pass already gives? so it is not quite a nif I he
Yeah, it losses *some* lounges, but not as bad without the soft landing of the Priority Pass coverage.
If they just make a dedicated grocery multiplier, I'll be happy. I'll take even 2X. Not going to happen. Chase isn't going to change anything lol
Yeah, part of why I didn’t do categories or the Freedoms/Sapphire Preferred.
Why would u want a sapphire reserve and preferred at the same time? They over lap on like 90% of things? Am I missing something.
