@@EVILGT The Carly is a rubbish bit of kit and the company is a nightmare to deal with, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
Lads the facelifts are notorious for overheating due to a small oil cooler, look into a black series cooler and you should see more consistent readings

I think after a carbon clean, new injectors, new cold air intake system, new map and maybe set of cams you could easily get over 500. sounds savage too

No need for a carbon clean on an M156. Not direct injected.
New injectors arent needed unless its misfiring, cold air intake and headers alone would make over 500

156 when properly maintained are good for at least 230-240K miles before top end refresh. Bottom ends are stout and bulletproof.

@@codyristick1907 yes very reliable, 3 things I would do right away with that mileage- service transmission and rear differential fluids, pull valve covers and inspect condition of cam lobes and inspect fuel pump/filter (date on label)
Also it it rattles a lot you might need cam adjusters, only if loud and annoying. I have 139K and so far cams and adjusters are fine 🤞🏼

Brilliant channel I love the content. I always say the realest car channels out there are specifically setup to show car content and be about car content with no ulterior motives just like this one . The amount of other channels out there who preclaim to be for the viewers but aren't and are just a front for other things. Lads with fitted caps and ear spacers come to mind. I'll let everyone decide who they think they are.

I don’t know if it’ll be the same but I had a esp light in my sprinter and apparently it was a track rod end it didn’t come on after that being changed so must of worked 👌🏻

The box may need a fluid change and a reset, makes a difference.

Carly crap I used it on my BMW Z4 g29 and it put it in limp mode then would not read the ecu's to go back and reset it lost power steering 3 weeks to sort it out just be careful on newer cars try and speak the Carly never get through to a human being so frustrating

An engine shouldn’t lose HP. In fact, the cylinders will become smoother as the pistons travel up and down. If anything, an engine should gain HP with age (IF oil service has been done properly, IE basically halving the manufacturers service interval)
Greasy intake, worn cams, fuel system etc. is what steals the HP. Fifth Gear made a great video regarding this. They restored an old beater to almost factory HP.
That’s not exactly how it works, more clearance in the cylinder walls result in lower compression hence lower power output.
Stop lying to us, we know you’re rich but the podcast is paid because you’ve gotta cover the £10 to even look at a petrol pump😂
