Sad that Wheels continues to do what all others do and only compare to the Prado and the Discovery. What about the Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I hope Wheels Australia can one day compare this to the Isuzu MU-X; which, as I understand it, is the segment leader
I've seen comparison videos between MU-X and the Everest last year, and this came out on top in all aspects from memory.
Well everest is actually better cuz my friend has an mu-x and all the interior is hard plastic
MUX sells well but I looked carefully at the Trailblazer, MUX, Fortuna and Pajaro Sport and none are in the same league as an Everest. I am very happy with my Everest and love it.
When will everest 2019 arrival in the Philippines?

Why do you keep referring to Prado and Discovery as competitors, Everest is a pick-up based SUV and should be compared with the Fortuner and Pajero Sport

John Grytbakk most buyers here in asia wants something economical because they use it everyday sending and getting their kids in school. And traffic is terrible. A v8 costs 5k per week while smaller engines costs 2k per week. In dollars its 100 dollars per week for the v8 and 40 dollars per week for the 4 cylinder
Still can't believe this is going to be sold as the Ford Bronco in the US(obviously with a different engine). Pretty disappointing.
I think they will change the styling of the bronco, but I did hear it was going to be 4door.... It HAS to be a 2 door like the original.
Not enough technical info on the 8 speed transmission, Transmissions being Fords biggest weakness. I hope it's not a bloody CVT.

8 speed??? The test Everest is the 2l bi-turbo which has a 10 speed and the 3.2 has a six speed. There is no 8 speed in the Everest line up.I have a 3.2 and find the transmission fantastic so I am gob smacked the reviewer has bagged it out. I have never heard of a proper dual range 4wd having a CVT, only pretendies SUV's. But my daughters Lancer has a CVT and she loves it.
