This week sees us take on Fountains Abbey Parkrun for their 400th Parkrun! It was also a special day, as it was the Northern JOG ON meetup with JOG ON with Harry Morgan and the JOG ON crew. I'm an ambassador for the channel, so it was really great to catch up and meet other members of the crew!

You captured this one brilliantly. I went to the inaugural (when that kind of thing was allowed…) back in 2014, and of the 170 other different locations done, this is still vying for the top spot on my list. That open bridge at the end was a bit treacherous when I went as it was a bit slippy 😮 Perhaps I’ll venture back for the 10 year anniversary!

We ran this parkrun in October last year. We were going on holiday in North Yorkshire and set off early from our home in Derbyshire to do this parkrun. It’s amazing. I don’t think you will find a more beautiful parkrun. The RD is so funny. He did an amazing speech for us too!

It's getting on for forty years since I went to Fountains Abbey, and I was charmed and impressed, so I must try out the parkrun sometime.
Trouble is, living in Southampton it's a bit of a sweat to get that far north on a Saturday morning.

Class Parkrun. Did it back in June for our league race so did it a pace. The first lap hill was hard but unbelievable location to run. Great vid 👍🏻

Would agree about a 3 for difficulty. I wasn't flooring it when I visited, but can only really think of the climb near the finish line as being a challenging bit.
Fun... Didn't quite have that magic for me to be at the very top of my lists; a bit too sculpted I think. I can see the appeal though, so Harry's 8 seems fair.
