She writes some incredibly catchy tunes, has a slightly husky voice (in a good way), and the show you mentioned, Home for Christmas, is actually worth watching, if you haven’t seen it. :) The film ‘The Hating Game’ that just came out featured this song (‘Somebody’), Angelina Jordan’s new cover (‘Mercy’), and another Dagny song featuring her and Astrid S. Dagny did a very solid Susanne Sundfør cover a while back, which isn’t easy. There’s also the infamous Love You Like That/Never Really Over/Katy Perry story, but anyway. Definitely check out a few more of her songs on the channel or Spotify, if you want to. The earworm degree tends to be high.
Thank you very much. Finally Dagny. Have been hoping for a Dagny react for at least a year. She has been overshadowed by Aurora, Sigrid, Angelina. Was away for a while due to contact with a record company that wanted control over her career. You do not do that with Norwegian female artists 😀 She is a North Norwegian sweet heart like the Northern Lights. Love her. There are many more performances from Nrk p3 that always have super quality and no problem with copy rights. Hoping for more. By the way, really like your own songs you have posted. You probably already got this info, but the national broadcasting is called NRK (Nrk 1, 2, 3 being their TV channels) P1,P2P3 is the radio channels :) (program 1,2,3 ;) ) odly spesific :P
More Norwegian music? Astrid S and Dagny with separate carreers joined forces in 'Pretty' that were just released, it's a bop th-cam.com/video/niaMHbhsV5E/w-d-xo.html . Both have great catalogs of songs. And both have had the saluting TV show HAIK done about them, as well as Aurora have.
