Each of the houses here are so charming, so beautiful, and even the moss on the wall feels like a great work of art. As you walk along the steep mountain path, a truly beautiful lake unfolds.. Good morning Alan, what a great little video and a beautiful part of the lakes, this was a walk down memory lane for us, Kat took me here in 2015 to try find some Ref squirrels, we didn't find any but the stunning scenery and memories of looking up at the tree tops still loves fresh in the memory banks. The benefit of all that rain you guys get over there is how green and grown all the plants get, isn't it? You guys have so many cool country walks. that cottage in the beginning, the walking through a trench of mossy stone walls, strategically placed benches. Mrs. Metalman is quite a good sport. Sarah does not like being filmed so much, she's more of a behind the scenes presence usually. That really is a beautiful set of trails to get out and get some light exercise on.
Haha, she prefers not to be on camera but if it happens it happens, not a big issue for her. That was out fourth day there and the first dry day but the bonus was everything was go green and fresh. Thanks very much for stopping by, cheers Alan

@@AlanMETALMAN I've said this before, but it's high time we were due back in the lakes. I was thinking this might be the year but I reckon all the bloody camp sites will be full due to the ongoing Corona debacle.
Grasmere and loughrigg terrace are top of our favourite spots in the lakes, and the bluebells add colour. You don't need to go high to get the views. I'm getting worried about your fitness though, all those seat breaks, tea breaks, posing for photos breaks

The benefit of all that rain you guys get over there is how green and grown all the plants get, isn't it? You guys have so many cool country walks. that cottage in the beginning, the walking through a trench of mossy stone walls, strategically placed benches. Mrs. Metalman is quite a good sport. Sarah does not like being filmed so much, she's more of a behind the scenes presence usually. That really is a beautiful set of trails to get out and get some light exercise on.
Haha, she prefers not to be on camera but if it happens it happens, not a big issue for her. That was out fourth day there and the first dry day but the bonus was everything was go green and fresh. Thanks very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
This was a gorgeous walk Alan - so peaceful. The greenery and colors just popped, and the bluebells looked like a carpet! We don't have anything like this where I live, so I really appreciate taking the walk with you and Mrs. Metalman!!! Have a good one man!

Grasmere and loughrigg terrace are top of our favourite spots in the lakes, and the bluebells add colour. You don't need to go high to get the views. I'm getting worried about your fitness though, all those seat breaks, tea breaks, posing for photos breaks

It's hard to believe that anyone could have built these villages ...... The weather would have been too good for working ..... Everyone should have been taking nature walks and picnic breaks.
We manged to get the last parking space in the village but man, it was packed, so it was a blessing to find so peace and quiet once we got into the woods.
