    Great tut. I got into a spot of bother when subracting the wheel hub tubes - some undefined error, but I found a workaround. Other than that, very straight forward.

      Great to hear! There have been a few changes with the current 1.2 version that is out but mostly minor things that shouldn't have affected this one. Glad you were able to figure out a work around!

    Thank you 4 the tutorial! To select 4 small edges simultaneously press left click + shift + ctrl + alt. Speed ups the work.

      Yeah that is a great tip! For me the shift isn't needed, just ctrl + alt plus clicking for the edges.

    Can you for example select a cylinder.Then take a cylinder and squeeze both sides to make it flatter looking

    • @LearnEverythingAboutDesign
      @LearnEverythingAboutDesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup. select your cylinder(the entire body which should be the first click if all your selection filters are on) and hit "S" on the keyboard to scale. in the bottom right you will see the options for scale. You can press "X" for example to only scale in the X direction which will flatten it to more of an oval. You can also do SHIFT + X to only scale in the YZ plane. By default scale will be Uniform, which is S on the keyboard if you happen to press anything else.

    Why push "S" twice for scale? once activates scale. Cool Videos

    • @LearnEverythingAboutDesign
      @LearnEverythingAboutDesign  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      S once enables the scale tool, if you hit S again it enables uniform scale. basically the same thing as grabbing the white ring at the center of the little widget, but it auto binds it to the mouse so you just need to move the cursor. If you did S and then hit Z for example you will scale in only the Z direction. If you hit S and then Shift Z you will scale in the XY plane. SS is just a quick way to uniform scale something up without having to grab the widget. Similarly you hit G to move something and then X, Y or Z and then you just move the mouse rather than clicking on the arrow.

    Thank you much! Well explained. I watched a different video where sheet subdivision was shown but some of the commands were not. For the life of me, I could not get it done. With your explanation, it worked like a charm! 👍👍

    Hey, in the 1st minute we made sphere, than took curve, pressed K ( kut) and pressed ctrl+R. But it does not shows radial line for section.

    • @LearnEverythingAboutDesign
      @LearnEverythingAboutDesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      the curve with the knife tool will cut however you draw it. Ctrl+R will cut along the UV direction of the object. With a sphere how its created around Z will only show half the line, but Tabbing to the V direction should go all the way around.

      @@MetricRepeat I think i saw a comment that was edited about tab. yes that changed in versions after this. C will now change from corner to rectangle. As the software evolves I will start pulling down older videos, but would just say to check the bottom right corner of the screen. It should list all shortcuts there when on a tool like rectangle.

    whay twice for "S" ? I didnt see a difference from once

    • @LearnEverythingAboutDesign
      @LearnEverythingAboutDesign  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you hit S once it starts the scale tool. If you hit it again you enable uniform scaling which means you just need to move your mouse to begin scaling. If you don't hit it a second time you will have to use the manual manipulators to get it to change or enter a number
