- Usually cakes are meant to share, but this Japanese Castella pancake is meant for you to eat alone. Yes, alone. All by yourself.
This Castella pancake is recently featured in one of the episode of Kodoku no Gourmet (Solitary Gourmet/ 孤独的美食家).
The main character Inogashira ate a fluffy, warm castella pancake that's for one person portion! Totally love this idea!
=Ingredients=
2 Eggs
35g Sugar (10g for yolks, 25g for egg white)
15g Honey
30g Milk
40g Cake Flour
2g Baking Powder
*Butter & powdered Sugar for toppings.
