Model A How-to: Generator Differences & Testing

In this video I show the different versions (Powerhouse vs. standard cylinder type generator), and how the Ford Model A generators are tested & adjusting the charge rate/amperage. I show a simple testing procedure. If it fails the generator will need to be repaired or completely rebuilt.
Note: There are other manufacturers of generators, as well as 12 volt generators which are similar. Also, Be sure you have a 6 volt positive ground generator before buying replacement brushes or parts as the parts generally are not interchangeable.
