After the engine build I’ll be getting back to more g body specific videos, like repairing my cracked dash, wiring, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air install…I got a lot of stuff in store. How hard was it to remove the factory fuel hard lines? That's probably going to be my agenda on my Monte today since I'm waiting on parts😒. Doesn't look so simple.

You should ensure the vent line is run so that the line is higher than the highest point on the tank, including the filler neck. The El Camino tank has a bump on the top that makes it a challenge. If the vent line has a dip, or loops, it could collect fuel causing the tank to pressurize and eventually purge the vent line (leak fuel). So you don't want any dips or loops and you want it as high as you can get it.

Could be challenging if you have some old rusty lines that don't want to break free. If it's clean, it shouldn't be too bad.
What type of fuel line and connectors did you use? What was the rating on them?

I got 20’ of both. After routing the catch can and fuel pressure regulator I used about all of it.
