I just finished up a project for an ecommerce site that is actually being hosted with Shopify because my client needed his inventory system to integrate into the site which webflow sadly doesnt support at the moment but I was able to design it all within webflow! I really enjoy using it and it's all thanks to you that I even discovered webflow in the first place!
@Duuriimaa Bargaid Yup! I used Udesly to convert the file into a Shopify Theme but even afterwards not everything exported perfectly so I did need some minor coding to the Shopify theme from within Shopify but thats honestly why I love Shopify so much, you get so much granular control of the theme after its been imported. There are other features Im trying to implement into the site from within Shopify because there is no possible way as of now to convert it perfectly out of webflow but it was still a huge time saver. Of course in the ideal world we would have stayed with Webflow for everything but I was so happy that it was even possible to export it out and make it a shopify theme.
@@GeorgeVina wow that is great news, i didnt know that you can export a webflow design as a shopify theme. This is perfect, the unique design of webflow with the backend integrations of shopify!! Hopefully it doesn't just sound good, hopefully it works fluidly as well. Have you encountered any issues I with website load speeds/glitches etc. With the imported theme?

Hey Ran video and congrats on your first e-commerce. I have just started using Webflow and find is a fantastic product. At this stage, they don't the functionality that other platforms have, but I'm sure there are plenty of improvements in the pipeline. Would be interested to know your process for creating the site, from first client meeting all the way to handoff!

Webflow E-commerce is not ready for primetime. Hopefully in the future. There are no user accounts, upsell, downsell, dynamic multi item discounts, ship station, item tracking, etc. you know... the elements that actually generate profit for stores. It’s still very basic so as of Sep 2019, going into October, I would still recommend Shopify over Webflow e-commerce. Hopefully this will change in the future. E-commerce not a viable Shopify competitor yet. Everything else about Webflow is excellent.

So question, which seems like you can do this but using webflow, could you build an e-commerce website that has a web back-end system that the client can log in and edit/add pages, info & product information without having to touch any html code? And if so, is this only available using webflow's hosting service or can you install this on their own web hosting?

I use them for my site www.finalfinalbrand.com. Design and UI for creating was excellent. Big downfall is that they don’t allow for discount codes or vouchers for customers. And there is no real ETA for that very important feature.

You are using the webflow's dashboard to navigate. Where are the website button to go the main page... not clear at all..

All good to create a webshop if you don't have a physical store.
What's the process if you also have a physical store with +- 5.000 products?
There is already an inventory management system. I don't want to update the stock manually in Webflow every night for those 5.000 products.
How can this be synced? Ideally the stock of every product is live updated at every time.
Could you give me your opinion on this please.
I guess I'm not the first person with this requirement.
For ecommence stores, I don't have much experience. Bob An, our Webflow expert does, and he advises people to use shopify, woocommerce or foxy.io instead of Webflow.

I wish WebFlow would integrate Mollie.com as Payment Gateway for Europe... So they can pay with iDEAL and all the rest of the cards... Without Mollie Webflow is useless for me... unfortunately (I'm a designer)
