Wordpress is an absolute nightmare. Avoid it like the plague. Every time it upgrades, the plugins you paid for will start acting weird or stop working entirely. Who knows when those developers will catch up with the new version? Sometimes, they don't. But you won't get a refund. The content management process is NOT intuitive and provides endless frustration when you want to deal with formatting text, placing photos, etc. I'm going to get rid of my wordpress site and probably switch to SquareSpace or Shopify. I think this video is way too kind to Wordpress. Unless you love frustration and wasting time and money, stay away from Wordpress.
it requires some learning curve, but still overcome all the others in terms of flexibility and the results, much more affordable etc. Of course, it's better to move away from it if you don't have time/wish to learn it

Hi Simon, I watched this video to see if Squarespace was going to suit my online store but now I'm wondering if WebFlow or WordPress would make a more successful site for online purchases. Which would you recommend? I'm a beginner but don't mind taking the time to learn new things!
I usually recommend shopify for online stores unless you‘d like to have a lot of design freedom and/or you‘re on a tighter budget. If you‘re looking for an all-in-one solution then don‘t look at wordpress, otherwise wordpress + woocommerce is also an option. But takes a lot longer to set up. If you‘re a beginner I wouldn‘t go with webflow honestly. Squarespace could also be a good option, I really like it. Why don‘t you just play around with squarespace and shopify to see how it feels. Both have free trials. If you feel that you need more freedom and features you can still look into wordpress. Good luck!
Thank you for your knowledge, you are straight to the point about website development. I am an older man who didn't own his first digital device until I was 38 years old. Thank you for sharing. Please consider furthering this video and discuss with us how difficult or not it would be to transition from one website app to anothers? 😊
This is a very concise review. Excellent!
Can you please say what you have understand I didn't understand which is better sho[ify or separate website
Thank you very much for such a concise and informative video! Completely the opposite of clickbait so common these days.
Squarespace is the one I'm leaning towards.
I love web flow. Despite its learning curve because it’s so complex I love the features you can apply to your site.
Ctrl + E is everything!! 🤣🤣🤣
Do you know of anyone that needs a website or wants to get at least 1 million views on social media?
Sam!! am screaming, exactly what i needed, ive been all over the place lost.thank you for this tutorial ❤❤❤
Brilliant, concise and how I wish there were more people like you in this world of ours!
Which one is best for SEO?
Did u found it yet?!
Thank you so much for the clear explanation! It's very helpful for me!👍
Hostinger ist top! Meine wärmste Empfehlung!!!
This is a great video. I love your honesty. One thing I found in my research is Wix doesn't offer SSL encryption, whereas Squarespace does. For that reason alone, I'll be building my website on the Squarespace platform. Suggestion: include whether or not each of the website builders have SSL encryption built in. That's crucial in today's online environment.
thanks for the comment. Although, all Wix sites have SSL too.
@@MeticsMedia That must be new. In the comparisons I brought up a couple of weeks ago, Wix did not provide SSL encryption. Thanks for the clarification.
@@shaunabowlingnot new at all. You must be confusing it with this note,
"Important:
Wix does not support SSL for domains or subdomains connected to external (non-Wix) websites."
Literally answered all my questions in one go. Such a good resource, thank you!
I will definitely dig deeper into WordPress. If it's too complicated for my level, i will choose between Webflow and Shopify. Thank you for your reviews 😊😊

NEVER use free templates, they may suddenly not be supported anymore and then you have a big problem. Best to use Elementor + Hello Theme, the lightest and easiest to maintain setup in my opinion after 15 years as a webdeveloper..
Elementor pro or just basic one?
@@headofficetopman6098 elementor pro only with Hello Theme, the theme itself is poor and you will need a header a footer builder, and other features from pro version. Simple elementor can work with other, more featured-rich themes
Correct😊😊
Thank you! Does this work well for e-commerce?
@@johndough1703 you need to design some things yourself but thats good, no bloat and only what you really need. not recommended for unexperienced developers tho.
I'm surprised this didn't include Framer - personally my favorite !
Thanks for all the work you put into this. It’s really really helpful. Blessings to you 🙏
Amazing video. Just what I was looking for
Been on WordPress since before 2014. Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Which one would be better for a painting business?
Wordpress, you don’t need to any coding knowledge and it’s completely friendly ❤
Ler me know if you want more information i can help you cz i'm web devoloper
Ever tried vsbl? Seems not very flexible but really quick. Also Jimdo is supposed to be very easy to use. I get that wordpress is probably the best solution but I simply do not have the time to dig into it and a simple Web presence would be sufficient for me. I would be interested in how Jimdo and VSBL compare to the ones you presented.
Great video by the way.
what do you recommend for property management/ rental property
New to your page so thank you for saving me alot of time with research on where to go for advice. My wife and I are starting a business that will sell services rather than products. She is a nurse and will be using her skills to check up on patients on family members that aren't in this immediate area. Her main job will be to make sure they are okay, they are taking meds and basic welfare checkups. Which website builder would you recommend to offer the services in a clear way and accept payments through the website?
many options, but personally I would choose squarespace for this.
I can be of assistance if you don't mind
Yay. Exactly what I needed. Can't wait to watch this 😄 🎉
Thank you very much for this video. I’m definitely a beginner so any coding is out of the question for me but this was the best description and break down if the pros and cons if each. Can’t wait to watch your other videos👍

Very comprehensive video with easy to digest information. Thanks a bunch, gonna go with wordpress and hostinger.
Of course, it's better to move away from it if you don't have time/wish to learn it
Dude!!! I just tried so hard 4 days of Wordpress!! It’s not user friendly and made me feel like I’m an idiot!!! I actually want my money back. I think I’m gonna go with Go Daddy!!
Absolutely agree with you
totally agree, ive tried Wix and Gohighlevel and learned them fairly fast. Wordpress is just a mess, i can understand theres flexibility but the UI is just horrendous to deal with.
Thank you
Thank you so much. I’ve been stuck for months, not knowing which service would suit me best so this is extremely helpful!
so which one did you end up with?
Thank you for this video! Question- I'm a complete beginner with very little experience in website building. I need one though. I sell my services for coaching and energy healing. I need client scheduling and payment ability as well as the ability to send pre-session documents to sign and return. Which web builder do you recommend? Not looking for a free one but not too expensive either since I'm just starting out.
Same
Please I would also appreciate your response to this
Very valuable video. Which builder would you recommend for small hotel website to include there a booking system?
Thanks for a very informative comparison. Could you comment on the respective support? I have found WIX very difficult if i need to ask a specific question.
ask @superiorweb1 any question on wix
Excellent Video bro!❤
Wonderful overview. You mentioned "social media integration" being an option with wordpress. Is this available for Squarespace or Wix?? Thanks again for this. This is going to be very helpful.
I have the same question
Thank you for making this video. I love how it was short, simple and to the point. Big help in understanding the different platforms. Right now, I'm just at the very beginning stage of building my website and so this video has helped me to short list my options, so I'm not so overwhelmed with all the platforms out there. Thank you!
Great tutorial of the various websites to consider when starting an online business. Leaning towards Wordpress, but more research required. Thank you
I'm a freelance web developer. I can give you my portfolio and previous work if you are interested to start your professional website for your business. Let me know if you need my service. Thank you :)
I am on a tight budget, i have time to learn. My question is about security of my website, is wordpress secured?
It should be safe and many people use it. The author said 43%
Which one do you recommend for online store, thank you
Yes, Shopify is the best. Do you have a shopify website?
Wix
Clear and precise presentation. thank you
Thank you, finally someone has answered my questions!
Wix was once # 1 however, today they are one of the worst. Wix has bad customer service, no tech support, will not return calls, nor give back refunds when the site crashes (while building the site it crashed a lot).
Such a good teacher. Thanks!
what's good for a hispanic business in American to sell spiritual products in spanish as the main language and do adds on facebook and google ?
personally I would use shopify for that.
Hi what about the managed WordPress plan on godaddy?
Would be great ❤
godaddy had been my go to for years and i absolutely love it! if you have the graphic design chops you can make the graphics tell more of the story than their basic layouts do!
They have gone downhill in my opinion. I would NEVER recommend GODADDY ..... Years ago they were good, but today, there are much better options.
Thanks for these reviews, so easy to choose now. Question? Do they all have an option to have in 2 languages like for me I need French and english version. Let me know :)
Wordpress have option for multi language. Would you like to know more?
I come from the channel in Spanish xd you are so good soo very tanks
Nice video that explains these website builders thoroughly! Just wonder how about Framer?
Very helpful video, thanks!
Loved your organization, clarity comparing our options and delivery. Very helpful and useful.

Probably godaddy (if it‘s gonna be a very basic website) or squarespace/wix depending on how flexible you wanna be when it comes to website design. Good luck!

I would recommend wordpress. As my web Development experience say
No one ever talks about IndieMade. It's super easy to use, inexpensive, and their customer service is top-notch. I tried a bunch of other website builders (free trials except for Shopify which I had for a few months), and just got frustrated.
love the video, thanks soo much, gave me great and honest support, PS. what background music do you use? its nice! Thanks for the amazing video!
My dad is a former professor and is looking to continue his efforts towards sharing his knowledge through a website. I want to avoid WordPress because I would have to be more hands-on with maintaining the website rather than him maintaining the site on his own. He would like to charge for training material and content. Which website builder would you recommend?
Still wordpress
I will suggest you Laravel+Vuejs, as I am doing programming since last 5 years and I am very happy with these technologies. I can help you on your project, If you agree
thanks for the language options this is so useful for people whose native language is not English
With Wix you gotta bring up Editor X which is pretty solid.
I just had a look at their site and was really bad from my mobile. Sub heading were mixed with the text, columns looked like a jenga battle. Just messy and not a good example of their product
Hey, and what about framer, what do you think about it?
Thanks for this very helpful review,is there a difference for Seo when using these different applications? I heard Google recognises Wordpress sites better than others. Is this true? Thank you 😊

Your pick for women's clothing and online payments would be Shopify, is that correct?
yes! alternatively you can look into wordpress + woocommerce (a lot more difficult to set up) or Wix. Check out this video for a shopify vs wix comparison: th-cam.com/video/egoZeC8ZsPA/w-d-xo.html
Quite informative, brother! Thank you!!
Hi Simon,
I watched this video to see if Squarespace was going to suit my online store but now I'm wondering if WebFlow or WordPress would make a more successful site for online purchases.

Hence I don't have that natural flow that the younger generations have when it comes to being digital minded. I have to take things step by step, hence learning the latest languages of the digital world. You make this process very easy to understand.
GoDaddy? Seriously? They over charge, customer service is horrible. I’m shocked they’re on this list
What is your website builder advice Rad?
@@ARNBNDL my advice would be to go with Vista print, I set my sons website up with them for his business, and I have had no issues with it. I’m just stuck with GoDaddy because I am slammed with this TH-cam channel and I don’t have time to rebuild.
Yes. This comment is on point. They are shady
I agree! I have a godaddy web site, and Ive been unable to make changes to my own site, for the past 8 weeks. They tell me they are aware of the "GLITCH" and they are working on it, but its been 8 WEEKS.
Godaddy is horible. After many years, I finally moved on, and should have done it long ago. Godaddy stinks.
Thanks so much watching it from Liberia West Africa 👏👏
The problem with WordPress is that if you don't pay for a plan, you can't edit many things, like simply hide the outstanding image. That's spoiling my website.
No eveyrhting is possible to customize in WordPress but if you need advance level features you will have to purchase premium plugins.
Not true. Wordpress is free and by far the most flexible website creator tool. You simply have to pay for hosting.
