My Crazy Theory: Aemond and Raena are in love, have been secretly in love for years. And because of it she’s gonna switch sides to the Greens and effectively take Alys Rivers Place in the Story. The Scream we get from Baela in the trailer is her discovering her sisters betrayal. This would be a great Plot Twist, literally no one would see it coming since it’s not in the books and it gives us an enemies to lovers storyline which everyone would love. And if you think about the events of Season 1. There are actually subtle hints to this. And it explains a lot of what’s happened. First of all why did Aemond and Raena have no scenes after the time skip. You would think Raena would still be pissed about losing Vhagar but we get no confrontation. Almost like they are intentionally avoiding each other. Almost like they are trying to hide a secret. And think about the Dinner Scene, why did Aemond get pissed and say the “Strong Boys” line? Everyone thinks it was jealousy of Jace and Helena dancing together, but I think that was intentional to throw us off. What other scene did we get right before Aemond lost his cool? Raena and Luke smiling at each other and Aemond staring at them pissed! And finally at Storms End, what set off Aemond and made him demand Luke’s eye? It wasn’t an insult from Luke toward him or his family. It was when Luke told Baratheon that he was already “Betrothed to another” (meaning Raena), could Jealousy have been Aemonds motive for these two events in addition to all the other bad blood? Also they say attraction is genetic. Would it not make sense for Raena to be attracted to the same kind of guy her Mother was into?
