RIP to the 👸Who Never Was!
Meleys looking at rhaenys just before she closed her eyes broke my heartt 😩😭😭
This episode just made me feel worse for the dragons. The fact that vhagar and meleys were besties and now they are forced to fight each other is just so tragic.
RiP Rhaenys the queen who never was , died and fought like a true Dragon rider
Aemond deliberately burning Aegon changes the narrative. This episode showcases what the dance truly is.
Literally more sad about the dragon deaths than the human ones, brutal.
Meleys wanted Rhaenys to be the last thing she saw and Rhaenys looking back comforting Meleys that she did her proud.
Salute to lord darklyn who stayed true to his queen even at his execution and he went out giving cold the cursed name " kingmaker".
Didn't even think of retreating. RIP to the queen who never was.
That scene of daemon dressed as aemond was unintentional hilarious.
Rhaenys' dragon flew towards Aemond's dragon, and together they plummeted into the ground. At the last moment, Rhaenys managed to fly away while Aemond fell. Rhaenys failed to notice that Aemond and his gigantic dragon were also airborne. She somehow forgot too look behind her and......Just before a cliff, where they couldn't see each other, she was attacked with perfect timing. This scene was poorly written, bland, weak, and disappointing.
Meleys really lived up to her title as the Red Queen, one of the fastest and most fearsome of the dragons in The Dance. RIP.
I haven't sobbed this much for a character since the death of Ned Stark back in GOT.
I'm legitimately heartbroken by Rhaenys' death... I knew it was coming (in addition to Rhaenys being a fictional character)... but, gods, did I love that character and that actor (Eve Best is/was/will always be AMAZING). Pouring one out this evening for my girl.
Alicent: The Morning After Final Solution
When Meleys looked back at Rhaenys before she died it felt like she was telling her goodbye with her eyes.
R.I.P to a true warrior and fighter
The playful nudge between Aegon and Sunfyre before battle tells you that neither the dragon nor his rider were meant for military. The hubris and over ambition of his grandfather, mother, brother and Cole drove him this far, and O don’t fault him at all.
Nuff Respect Rhaenys, unoffical hand of the Queen. You died like the warrior you were! 👑🖤
The dragons are so much like their riders. Sunfyre is callow and rash like Aegon. Melleys is smart and brave like Rhaenys. And Aemond is a sneaky little bastard like Aemond.
