I’ve been told the reason the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is lightweight is because it uses neodymium drivers, not because of its plastic body.

For the price of 210$-250$ I’d rather get the jbl encore essential. It vibrates the whole room
I have an encore essential, and its sound is impressive, but compared to the soundcore, you lose A LOT of portability, durability and Battery life.
Will you do a proper review on this speaker like you normally do because this video is in a different, sponsored format that I assume is just what Soundcore is telling you to say since they sent the speaker to you (only sponsored videos have the speaker this early). The use of the phrase 'rich bass' gave it away. Alan Ross went over the content brief.
there is an independent versus series coming like always. But from a value standpoint, the Boom 2 Plus is solid

Upper bass is way wayyy too overblown, Deep bass is on Charge 5 - Xtreme 3 level, Basically the Same as the ult 7 But cheaper and smaller in terms of bass
It's well beyond charge 5 or xtreme 3. Not Boombox 3 level but fairly close. I bet with the custom EQ it could push it closer as well.
@@thefattmattthere’s a difference in amount of overall bass and amount of deep bass. These are not the same thing. This speaker is mostly upper bass so slams will be loud but rumbles will be low. Deep bass rumbles upper bass slams.
@@donjuandemarco4115 my point is the EQ is advanced enough that you could turn the upper bass down and turn the deeper bass up.
@@thefattmatt there’s a dsp that limits how much bass the speaker uses. Unlike boomboxes of the past that it’s not a true EQ. There’s limits to every single speaker out now. You can’t make it do somthing it was not designed for. If that was the case then boom plus can adjust its EQ to match this speaker and they are both the same. As you know that’s not how this works.

hi, very unrelated to this video, but I'm trying to decide between the JBL Partybox 320 and the Soundboks Go. right now, there's a promo where you get a free extra battery with the Soundboks Go or Soundboks 4, so that adds a lot of value. I have one problem though. in your Sounboks Go vs Partybox 310 vs Sony XV800/XP700 video, the Soundboks Go sounded utterly terrible compared to the others, and you even commented on it, but in your Soundboks 4 vs 3 vs Go video, you said the sound quality has improved massively with firmware updates, and I thought so too from the sound test. I don't know if I would risk being disappointed by the sound quality of the Go over the 320, so I would really appreciate it if you could give me a very quick rundown of the 320 vs the Go in terms of sound quality after the firmware updates.
I haven't used my Soundboks Go in over a year, that's how bad it sounds. Get the 320.

@@Screw_Potato even using the equalizer, the Soundboks Go doesn't sound all that great. You can tune it to sound okay, but then you'll lose the max volume. Trust me the 320 is the way to go.

@@Screw_Potato Yes I did, I'm just saying I went through software updates with Soundboks and the sound quality didn't improve that much. I probably don't have the latest update, but there's only so much you can do with software. I also have the Soundboks 3 and even that doesn't sound as good as a Partybox.

how about Compared them to W-KING X20? and see the Difference in all aspects. will wait until you get the brand of W-KING. and for me the jbl boom box 3 is the only rival to X20. because of the same 5 drivers, however, X20 has 3 passive radiators and the D20 has same of X20. but D20 has included 2 wireless microphone and also has a shoulder strap too. notice this comment and ill wait until you have wking.

For the boombox 2, it's the deep bass and some money for its brand value. Boombox 3 is just overpriced (ignore that shit).
Boom 2 plus gets in the middle and fail to deliver any of these. Boom plus is a better deal for the price even now.

Probably my last speaker to buy from soundcore all together not impressed. Even the boom 2 hit lows better. If you're looking for a speaker I'd recommend the jbl boombox 3 solid choice
