The biting incident with Nikki was epic. You have lived every Crue fans dream. As a kid i always dreamed of meeting Tommy or Nikki. My first crue show was in 1997. Best concert ive seen. And ive seen Aerosmith, the Stones, megadeath.
I love the detail you use when telling these stories. Things like describing what the area was like where L’amours was located just make these stories more vivid. Keep it up!
Oh man, Ive heard the biting stuff before. Amazing story. Cant wait for your book and/or t.v. show. I used to dream about going to the SATD tour and shows. WHat a magical and electric time in music.
my late brother in law hung out a lamores east in queens he had some great stories too of hanging with the crue billy idol billy squier and a bunch others, he roadied for a band called smashed gladys
Amazing job as always! I have one of those Ratt performances at the Beacon on Vinyl. Sound isn’t great but the crowd reaction is insane. Stephen makes reference to the TS show you mentioned & also announces they’d be at MSG opening for Billy Squier later that fall.
@@beforeiforget1985 Sounds like the kind of guys I would hang around with (or be myself) in my 20's but would avoid at all costs now I'm 41 - ha! Cool stories though, thanks. Would love to hear any more about RATT
@@beforeiforget1985 I've been listening to your LA Guns stories too.. I met them on the cooked and loaded tour I was only 14 but they wouldn't let security make me leave cause I snuck back stage at the Starry Night in Portland. I remember Phil seemed really sad like something was wrong I always wondered what it might have been
Booby Blotzer is so lame. Good drummer but a lame dude. IMO he was a weak link for Ratt they should have dumped him after the e.p. I mean he was the kind of guy that in elementary school had to be picked up by the little school bus not the regular one.
Juan Went to the same elementary school as Blotz & very passively made that exact bus observation in an interview 3-4 yrs ago. Bobby was definitely an antagionist on many levels from a personality perspective. Wouldnt call him a weak link however. There are alot of Engineers/producers from that timeframe that are bullish on his drumming ability despite his antics. Alot of drummers as well. He was a beast behind the kit..

My Brother saw that same Motley Crue Tour with Ratt :)
🤘
Where is Vince and Mick during this?
Vince is always with chicks never around and Mick was never a crazy party guy. More a low key drinker
I saw Greg Allman at the Beacon in 2003 I believe
Good show!
Now I would've loved to see Greg
Was Fred Saunders a big, heavyset black guy?
No he is a white guy. Had a short beard. Short hair
Lamour’s gave us White Lion
What’s “the Motley Crue handshake”?!?
Was a crazy handshake Tommy taught me . Like 20 steps to complete it. Insane handshake
any idea what Warren, Stephen and Juan were doing during this bender? 🤣
No idea. Never saw them ! Thanks for watching !
Bubbling Up The Bottle
What is the Motley handshake?
A crazy hand shake that Tommy made up. It had like 10 steps. Slap your thigh, snap your fingers , crazy high school kinda thing
