Probably the greatest slow song ever recorded and NO one does it better than Bobby Hatfield. RIP Bobby.

Hey, Sweetpea, I know you got a little upset with some of the comments on this reaction, but _don't be upset_ , please. You are a lovely young person, and your enthusiasm and happiness are infectious. And, not to miss this opportunity to say so, you are also a total cutie. So, just go ahead and live your life and enjoy your music and poo on anyone who says otherwise to you!

This is baby boomer music. I was 15 when this song came out in 1965. I watched him sing this song on the Andy Williams show. I was blessed to see this man sing. I have all their albums. RIP Bobby! We miss you!

Bobby Hatfield was one of the greatest singers ever, this song is one of the greatest songs in music history. When Bobby teams up with Bill Medley they sang great songs as You lost that Loving Feeling, Soul and Inspiration, Little Latin Lupe Lu, For once in my Life. Best of luck on yr channel!!

One of the greatest love songs of all time. Many have tried to cover it but Bobby Hatfield owns it hands down. The Righteous Brothers are the greatest duo ever. Sadly Bobby is now in Rock and Roll Heaven as he passed away in 2003. Try some other of their songs like Soul and Inspiration, You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling, Rock and Roll Heaven and Ebb Tide. Your a pretty young lady and thanks for reacting to this timeless classic

This is my first time watching your videos. I like how you talked in the beginning for a couple minutes at the beginning, about the comparison of today's music and culture, versus the music of the 1960s. This is one of my all-time favorite songs and performances. Great reaction!

My father went to school with these guys back in the late 1960 and told me that many a young lady lost her virtue to this and other songs by Bobby and Bill.... BTW: That is all natural singing without all the modern games record companies play today...No auto tune or manipulation by a sound engineer here...

  • @mitchrawles

1965 most romantic song ever made. Bobby Hatfield, one of the " Righteous Brothers". 670 tried and failed after Him. None will ever be as good as Bobby. Even Elvis could not do it like Bobby. That is saying something. It gives me cold chills. Girls fall in love with Him. They don't have Guys around like Him today. I am so glad I grew up in that generation listening to this song on the radio.

Bobby Hatfield was one of a kind and there will never be another like him and I am not just talking about his voice. He had a beautiful smile and an irresistible charm that just grabbed your attention and held on! It would be so nice if you would also do Only You or I Love You For Sentimental Reasons both by Bobby Hatfield. He deserves the same recognition that his partner is still receiving. Thank you!

The Righteous Brothers are a duo consisting of Bobby Hatfield (the soloist here) and Bill Medley. They each typically did one solo each per album. They both wanted to do this song so they flipped a coin, Bobby obviously won, and it became a hit peaking at #4 in the US. But if you are as much of a fan of "old music" as you claimed in your intro, you really need to react to You've Lost That Loving Feeling. It features both "brothers" and became THE most played song on American radio and television in the 20th century.

@@Raeperk57 I read they flipped a coin...As good as Bill Medley's voice is, he said he was glad Bobby sang it. It was more suited for his voice...I think he was right...Can anyone do any better?..Doubt it.

Bobby Hatfield could sing like nobody..He passed on on in 2003. This is his solo. If you listen to you’ve lost that loving feeling you get a taste of him performing with Bill Medley his party. Perfectly complimentary. It was most listened to song in 20th century. I was 3 years old in 65. My parents music.

Unfortunately Bobby Hatfield passed away several years ago. His talent was (is) unique. As is his brand of vocal dexterity and agility If you get a chance listen to some of his other songs with his partner Bill Medley - They ARE The Righteous Brothers. Bill is a Baritone with a smokey voice and exceptional vocal agility. They were a phenomenal Duo! 😁

Unfortunately, 1/2 of the Righteous Bros duo, Bobby Hatfield, died from a cocaine-damaged heart condition, years ago. Bobby was said to be one of the nicest people one would ever hope to meet, and he did have it all: great voice and looks, star athlete in high school, and had that "All-American" blond California look. But, Bobby discovered cocaine, and that became his downfall, as his agent and co-Righteous Bros star, Bill Medley, were concerned that Bobby didn't show up for a sound check before playing a show that night, and they entered his hotel room and found the singer had died in his sleep in his hotel room bed. Bobby died young (63), and as tragic as it was, he left an undeniable legacy behind, as just his superb version of this song alone will forever cement Bobby Hatfield as one of the greatest voices in music history.

THE RIGHTEOUS BROS WERE BOBBY HATFIELD AND BILL MEDLEY
IT WAS DECIDED THAT THIS SONG BE SUNG BY BOBBY AS A SOLO, AND IT PROVED TO BE THE CORRECT DECISION AS BOBBY HAD THE GREATER VOCAL RANGE THAN BILL
BOBBY SUNG THIS SONG SOFTLY, SWEETLY, SMOOTHLY, SENSUALLY AND WITH PASSION AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND SOUL GRABBING.
THE SONG WAS ICONIC AND IT WAS IN THE FAMOUS FILM "GHOST"STARRING PATRICK SWAZYE AND DEMI MOORE.
THE FILM AND THIS SONG WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER.
LASTLY, BOBBY HAD "MOVIE STAR" GOOD LOOKS AND ALONG WITH HIS GREAT VOICE WAS VERY ATTRACTIVE TO GIRLS THEN AND NOW.

Saludos
