As a non Honkai player who is eagerly anticipating Star Rail, I'm very grateful to you for making this. Welt seems extremely cool and is one of the characters I'm most interested in, and I'm sure this backstory will come in handy!
5:10 a little insight detail from Honkai's Lore: Due to this incident, USA bloody hates Schicksal so Valkyries aren't allowed to operate in USA's soil and USA openly opposes and even attacks shicksal when they can (it has been implied but never truly shown in game), to fight the Honkai USA makes use of its militar industrial complex to pomp out battle mechs and other anti Honkai weapons in mass, actually many of the generic looking mechs you see in the game are "made in USA", the matters related to Honkai management are entrusted to Anti-entropy which seems to be under supervision of the Departament of Defense and it seems that AE's budget and actions must be approved by the Federal congress itself, so yeah Bronya and co. are Federal employees. XD

My theory: I think the invasion Welt and VA did on the Alien ship is not that far after APHO 2, because from Bronya's max relationship dialogue she said that Squad 4 meet the Sugars and I assume ask them to help Welt Yang in some way, so that's how the Sugars found them. Also very confused that in APHO 1 we saw VA talks with Welt on the train with Joyce but then VA appears in APHO2?? Where's Welt and Joyce then?? Find out in APHO 3 i guess
I wasn't taking him very seriously, but after I got his Signature Cone and he started hitting harder than expected I'm like "guess I'm a welt main now" so this class is important.

Fun fact! Luocha is apparently a translated version of Raksha. Which is the nickname he chose back then. When Dan Heng asked Sushang if she has ever met her. Sushang says that she has never met him but feels like she has and somehow knows him. These little easter eggs is what I enjoy so much in HSR. So many connections, so many references. In hope of maybe they can reference Kiana as finality or something.
I wanted to play as Welt and someday Kevin and Kalpas too. I have played my favorite waifus in HI3 (Seele/Veliona, Durandal, Vili-V and Pardofelis) and why not for my favorite husbandos as well. I cant believe that I got him as my first 5 star and I am fangirling to the maxxxx. Welt have to be powerful lorewise in this game as well cause he has the power to supress the Stellaron before exploding.

Not even sure how people can call Welt ugly. That's like calling Cocolia ugly. They are not the most youthful people around, but insanely good looking for their age bracket.
I think the main reason is because of the guilt he probably feels toward Himeko. He calls her his student even in Alien Space(which take place about a decade after Himeko's death), and he probably blames himself for her becoming a Valkyrie, losing her lifespan, and then dying stopping HoV/saving Kiana. Welt not telling Himeko the truth abo0ut her dad was what caused her to join Schicksal in the first place after all.
Being fair in Alien Space he gets one way warped to a mothership of the Sky People anyway (happens some time after he encounters VA on the train at the end of APHO1) and we haven't seen him in the timeline since so while he may be spending his time helping Himeko, it's not unreasonable to assume he doesn't know the way home anyway. Basically Welt is reliving the plot of Quantum leap.
He probably feels very guilty about Himeko’s death. Even without HoV Himeko only has few years left because of artificial stigma, which she got because she became a valkyrie. And Himeko decided to become a valkyrie to look for her missing father, whom was killed by Welt and hide the truth from her. So basically Welt started a domino chain effect that led to Himeko’s inevitable doom.
@@dracotias If we're going by story/info given in the Beta, Welt can send signals/messages back home but doesn't know it's location so he can't just get dropped off, so he's just enjoying the adventure since he can't get back.

For other Herrchers, destroying their body effectively stop them even if they can store their consciousness in the core to avoid true death, since they can’t move around without a body/vessel HoR on the other hand: “oh no, my body is destroyed? whatever shall I do~”

We know he’s old, and probably not in his prime, but the fact the star of Eden is relative to Acheron’s sword is interesting: To paraphrase what she said in 2.1, “I don’t think my sword is as strong as that *Cane* you carry around. (Welt) Not even the family could figure out the true nature of this Cane.” Basically, Acheron is glazing up Welt here with the 5th divine key, and questions the destructiveness of its power. If we say the star of Eden > Acheron’s sword, how does the rest of HSR’s weapons fair?? (Btw I’m not saying Acheron is weaker than welt: here, she questions if she could fight welt, but as shown later on, she could probably fight and kill him if she wanted to, since her sword doesn’t contain the powers of XI, but she’s the one who puts it into the sword, and if we say the the 5th divine key is better, but not including any of XI’s power, and welt isn’t as good as a fighter as Acheron, then I say Acheron would pull out a dub here. Let’s say she’s able to pull out around 40% of XI’s power, around 10% more than what I think any high-class emanator has, like Dimond. Where exactly does Acheron compared to Raiden Mei, Bronya, and Kiana in terms of pure power? Like, currently it goes Herscheers > Aeons >>> archons But this really only applies to people like orgin, finality, and Truth. if welt is comparable to Acheron with star, which isn’t even 50% of XI’s power, -if your wondering why I say 40, when acheron can pull just about as much as she wants, it’s b/c any more or trying to pull more might have really bad consequences, like turn into wood, or something worst than death; it’s what happened to the Apocalypse Doctors, the other factions that follow nihility, with some at even lower percentages experiencing a fate worst than death. Also, Acheron throughout the story was trying to use as little as possible to keep as much “color” or humanity, as possible- How does the other herrschers fair? since Akiveli’s whole goal was to travel across the whole imaginary tree to get to the roots, and probably did that, something no other being has done yet in any hoyo game, and is ironically, very similar to the travelers of GI. Yeah, XI is one of the strongest aeons in the HSR universe, but how far can their power reach? Like, Emenators of Nanook have to be able to kill galaxies, which even if we say takes hundreds of centuries, is crazy relative to how long a galaxy can last, which is billions of years. Makes you question.) I really do wonder how the Cornerstones compare to the core of Reason, and how Kiana would air against Qilpoth, but untill we get better estimates, we’re kinda going to have to wait for it :/

He's well written, his motives are clear, and we get a good understanding of his character from just a few words. His wise personality is executed perfectly. At the end, a good character in the people's eyes are simply just their preference and what attracts them.
@@moores4415 If anything, I think the fact that Welt didn't turn away from kindness further demonstrates how indomitable his mental fortitude is. It probably isn't easy for someone like Welt to know that he is at least partially responsible for Himeko's path in life and what that path ultimately led to. But he doesn't let what he perceives as a failure change who he is, and I think that's admirable.

Jokes about Tesla as Welt's wife aside, Welt is kind of an underappreciated major character in the game. Because he's a definite example of "knight in sour armor"-type of character. He knows that his job isn't easy because he's a constant victim of malicious schemes and betrayals, yet he's still a firm believer of a simple act of kindness is the best gift a civilization can give

I love Welt in Star Rail. I smiled every time he wanted to go along on a mission to help our crew and got told to chill out by Himeko 😂 always has a “mooom please!” vibe. I like how we’re seeing more of his personality, because I think it makes him a far more human character beyond him being a living legend

Nah, the funniest part about him is the way he acts like his wife and son doesn't exist HAHAHA and you know what's really funny? Last time we saw his son, Joey, kid just awakened his powers. Oh yeah, spoiler, his son is a Welt Joyce clone too. Anyways, after that scene in the train, we literally never knew what happened to Joey after. I'm just guessing that dude brought the kid to his mom and said "I'm gonna be gone for a while and not teach my son how to use his powers"
So basically, Welt Yang is a Sigma Male who wants to save a woman whom her alternative universe's father was killed by himself and tried to pull his own Project Valuka to save her.

It's a shame we don't get story what happen during his visit to Salsotto to save HSR Himeko. I'm been confused with the manga because they suddenly been saved by Niggurath & Kira then it's just ended like that.
The foreshadowing goes much earlier than that. The half a photo welt has in alien space... We actually saw the other half of that photo years before then in Himeko's possession in Sanguine nights. One of the very first captainverse events which came out around chapter 9.
you can see VA in the background of welt’s splash art in star rail- that may mean he’s actually there (since einsla and joyce are there but only in fragments of glass, while VA is physically there), but afaik we haven’t physically seen him yet. i hope we do though 🙏

The Hero known as "WELT" is such a great character design wise all together, in one sense you understand "WELT" is the collective of 300,000 wills and a selective body chosen to inherit the 300,000 wills. It just works really well story wise, it's also why I love bronya! What's interestingly that I noticed from recent rewatching of story events, "WELT" is not only the name of a hero and protector, but is also a curse of a "great sinner" in the sense you are burdened with the identity to take on the name "WELT" whilst carrying the souls of 300,000 wills. Meaning to take up the name WELT (which means world) means to inherit what it means to protect their "world" and "world" is different for each heroic welt we see today, welt was a hero of humanity, a herrscher yet also an ally of humans a herrscher born human. This struggle of identity was also tackled really well in the sea of quanta arc in chapters 10~12, we saw the different struggles of what it means for joachim to be a hero and protector of humanity called WELT. he was only a child when he was burdened by inheriting the identities known as WELT after seeing his hero WELT Joyce die in front on him. WELT Joyce burdened a young child with the power of human at such a young age!! I will never forgive Joyce for that but at the same time, I can understand why he would choose Joachim at the time. And the next successor bronya is the biggest factor in all of this. All the welt's we see are all special people because they were chosen to become the inheritance of the hero named "WELT" but bronya's case she wasn't chosen to become a hero of humanity, instead she was human with no direct factors to inheriting the will of WELT. She had no special skills, no special inheritance she was purely A normal person, she had to work and be recognized by the 300,000 thoughts as "WELT THE HERO OF HUMANITY" I can't wait what they have in store for us in star rail we want more Welt!
Most badass scene for me is when welt outwitted sirin during their fight in space where he deliverately missed his attacks with SoE and tricked sirin into thinking that it was because of the damages he took but little did she know welt missed on purpose so that they are on the outer part of the event horizon of the star of eden's blackhole and it caused time diltion for them which gve just enough time for siegfried to escape.
I mean, of course, playing the game is the best way to understand what's happening. But there is no easy way to explain the lore of Welt over such a long period of time. I know that I threw a lot of foreign terms and concepts for a new players in there, but tbh, they are not really meant to be fully understood. That's why I also mention in the video the fact that people shouldn't beat their heads around them too much. I am content even if this offers a small glimpse of understanding of his characters.

Also, tbh I only started playing HI3 at the end of last month (because of my interest in honkai star rail) and have been having a blast (currently working through chapter 27), so it’s never too late to dive in and give it a shot, the only thing is that finding all the time required to finish the main story content (35 chapters) before HSR releases might pose a challenge for most people (my situation is a bit unique with time not really being an issue). The story for HI3 starts a bit slow but it does pick up its pace and the writing just keeps getting better and better as it goes on (with the potential to even move you to tears at times), but either way whatever you end up doing I hope you have fun!
Welt did not go back to earth after leaving the sky people's base, he went directly to the honkai star rail universe to stop the invasion, but then got stuck because their ship was broken. Apparently the Sugars were sending him back to the earth universe, but something happened during that time and welt got picked up by the express.
We do not have any confirmation of that at the moment. Yes, it could be. Welt implies that he and VA were stranded on a spaceship in a world called 'Salsotto'. Now, if that's the world where he ended up in Alien Space or not, it's not know.

Zhongli was the one who got me to playing genshin and without any knowledge of hi3 or hsr, coincidentally welt was the character who caught my attention the moment i saw him in hsr. I’ve concluded that i have a thing for old men with bursts relating to the sky 😂

There are some quests in Star Rail that are similar to Genshin's character quests, but it's for a limited number of characters right now. (Natasha, Hook, Asta and Clara if I remember correctly) After you complete them, the characters can come and visit you on the Astral Express.
There are character quest, called companion quest, but only limited to landau siblings, Clara, nat, hook, Arlan and asta. But it's quite possibly they will add more in the future
I havent played Honkai impact but i really love how Star Rail MC treat Welt like their dad, or local friendly neighborhood uncle, or even walking wikipedia. Everytime they saw something strange its all like ," daad what is this..? " on their phone
another thing I notice is that the nihility part suits him due to how much he sits in background than straight up action. tbf perseverance also suits him
He was the guaranteed 5* I pulled in star rail and while I was aiming for Bronya, I wasn't disappointed. Didn't even know he was actually from the impact universe or that he was such a Badass. Now I don't regret getting him at all

I started an Alt account for HSR going for a Welt starter pull... Wound up with Geppard pull1, Clara pull 2, meh nothing really interesting pull 3, pull 4 AND 5.... Bronya, craziest start but still sad/salty no Welt in all that.... then pulled a 5* Light Cone in the next two 10 pulls
Fun fact: Joyce's original name as a Schicksal rest subject included Omega, which had the same number as W. From there, Einstein decided to call him Welt. Joyce was a reference to Ulysses, though.
I think Anti-Entropy is connected with Star Rail. In APHO they've mentioned that Anti-Entropy got disbanded, in Star Rail you could see Tesla & Einstein on Welt Yang's splash art. Perhaps this group travel to different dimension?
I just got Welt as my first 5 star and I knew nothing about him except he's from honkai impact and he's like zhongli from genshin impact, until I stumbled upon this video and learn about his lore. I just wanna say, WTF bruhh. He's a fcking protagonist... or former protagonist to be exact. What a chad and I regret nothing when I got him. I'm so glad I got him.
Having only known Honkai Impact 3rd lore from my roommate, and having Welt as my starter, this video popping up in my recommendations is a big sign I will love him. Welt is the GOAT. Reading the Second Eruption Manga, Welt was amazing. I got chills when he created the entire arsenal of earth to fight Sirin. Welt is so badass, and I will get him in Honkai Starrail.

As a non Honkai player who is eagerly anticipating Star Rail, I'm very grateful to you for making this.
Welt seems extremely cool and is one of the characters I'm most interested in, and I'm sure this backstory will come in handy!
5:10 a little insight detail from Honkai's Lore: Due to this incident, USA bloody hates Schicksal so Valkyries aren't allowed to operate in USA's soil and USA openly opposes and even attacks shicksal when they can (it has been implied but never truly shown in game), to fight the Honkai USA makes use of its militar industrial complex to pomp out battle mechs and other anti Honkai weapons in mass, actually many of the generic looking mechs you see in the game are "made in USA", the matters related to Honkai management are entrusted to Anti-entropy which seems to be under supervision of the Departament of Defense and it seems that AE's budget and actions must be approved by the Federal congress itself, so yeah Bronya and co. are Federal employees. XD

My theory:
I think the invasion Welt and VA did on the Alien ship is not that far after APHO 2, because from Bronya's max relationship dialogue she said that Squad 4 meet the Sugars and I assume ask them to help Welt Yang in some way, so that's how the Sugars found them.
Also very confused that in APHO 1 we saw VA talks with Welt on the train with Joyce but then VA appears in APHO2?? Where's Welt and Joyce then?? Find out in APHO 3 i guess

Luocha is just an AU version of Otto. He has very similar vibes with Otto during the Shattered Swords Visual Novel.
Fun fact! Luocha is apparently a translated version of Raksha. Which is the nickname he chose back then. When Dan Heng asked Sushang if she has ever met her. Sushang says that she has never met him but feels like she has and somehow knows him.
These little easter eggs is what I enjoy so much in HSR. So many connections, so many references. In hope of maybe they can reference Kiana as finality or something.

I wanted to play as Welt and someday Kevin and Kalpas too. I have played my favorite waifus in HI3 (Seele/Veliona, Durandal, Vili-V and Pardofelis) and why not for my favorite husbandos as well. I cant believe that I got him as my first 5 star and I am fangirling to the maxxxx. Welt have to be powerful lorewise in this game as well cause he has the power to supress the Stellaron before exploding.

I think the main reason is because of the guilt he probably feels toward Himeko. He calls her his student even in Alien Space(which take place about a decade after Himeko's death), and he probably blames himself for her becoming a Valkyrie, losing her lifespan, and then dying stopping HoV/saving Kiana. Welt not telling Himeko the truth abo0ut her dad was what caused her to join Schicksal in the first place after all.
Being fair in Alien Space he gets one way warped to a mothership of the Sky People anyway (happens some time after he encounters VA on the train at the end of APHO1) and we haven't seen him in the timeline since so while he may be spending his time helping Himeko, it's not unreasonable to assume he doesn't know the way home anyway.
Basically Welt is reliving the plot of Quantum leap.
Dude had no way to go back to Earth, so he might as well do something good in the meantime. He's still looking for a way back, too.
He probably feels very guilty about Himeko’s death.
Even without HoV Himeko only has few years left because of artificial stigma, which she got because she became a valkyrie. And Himeko decided to become a valkyrie to look for her missing father, whom was killed by Welt and hide the truth from her.
So basically Welt started a domino chain effect that led to Himeko’s inevitable doom.
@@dracotias If we're going by story/info given in the Beta, Welt can send signals/messages back home but doesn't know it's location so he can't just get dropped off, so he's just enjoying the adventure since he can't get back.

We know he’s old, and probably not in his prime, but the fact the star of Eden is relative to Acheron’s sword is interesting:
To paraphrase what she said in 2.1, “I don’t think my sword is as strong as that *Cane* you carry around.
(Welt) Not even the family could figure out the true nature of this Cane.”
Basically, Acheron is glazing up Welt here with the 5th divine key, and questions the destructiveness of its power.
If we say the star of Eden > Acheron’s sword, how does the rest of HSR’s weapons fair??
(Btw I’m not saying Acheron is weaker than welt: here, she questions if she could fight welt, but as shown later on, she could probably fight and kill him if she wanted to, since her sword doesn’t contain the powers of XI, but she’s the one who puts it into the sword, and if we say the the 5th divine key is better, but not including any of XI’s power, and welt isn’t as good as a fighter as Acheron, then I say Acheron would pull out a dub here.

Also, Acheron throughout the story was trying to use as little as possible to keep as much “color” or humanity, as possible-
How does the other herrschers fair? since Akiveli’s whole goal was to travel across the whole imaginary tree to get to the roots, and probably did that, something no other being has done yet in any hoyo game, and is ironically, very similar to the travelers of GI.
Yeah, XI is one of the strongest aeons in the HSR universe, but how far can their power reach? Like, Emenators of Nanook have to be able to kill galaxies, which even if we say takes hundreds of centuries, is crazy relative to how long a galaxy can last, which is billions of years.

He's well written, his motives are clear, and we get a good understanding of his character from just a few words. His wise personality is executed perfectly. At the end, a good character in the people's eyes are simply just their preference and what attracts them.
@@moores4415 If anything, I think the fact that Welt didn't turn away from kindness further demonstrates how indomitable his mental fortitude is. It probably isn't easy for someone like Welt to know that he is at least partially responsible for Himeko's path in life and what that path ultimately led to. But he doesn't let what he perceives as a failure change who he is, and I think that's admirable.

I like how we’re seeing more of his personality, because I think it makes him a far more human character beyond him being a living legend

The foreshadowing goes much earlier than that. The half a photo welt has in alien space... We actually saw the other half of that photo years before then in Himeko's possession in Sanguine nights. One of the very first captainverse events which came out around chapter 9.
Technically the entire "there's multiple worlds/realities" has been foreshadowed for years.

The Hero known as "WELT" is such a great character design wise all together, in one sense you understand "WELT" is the collective of 300,000 wills and a selective body chosen to inherit the 300,000 wills. It just works really well story wise, it's also why I love bronya!
What's interestingly that I noticed from recent rewatching of story events, "WELT" is not only the name of a hero and protector, but is also a curse of a "great sinner" in the sense you are burdened with the identity to take on the name "WELT" whilst carrying the souls of 300,000 wills. Meaning to take up the name WELT (which means world) means to inherit what it means to protect their "world" and "world" is different for each heroic welt we see today, welt was a hero of humanity, a herrscher yet also an ally of humans a herrscher born human.
This struggle of identity was also tackled really well in the sea of quanta arc in chapters 10~12, we saw the different struggles of what it means for joachim to be a hero and protector of humanity called WELT. he was only a child when he was burdened by inheriting the identities known as WELT after seeing his hero WELT Joyce die in front on him. WELT Joyce burdened a young child with the power of human at such a young age!! I will never forgive Joyce for that but at the same time, I can understand why he would choose Joachim at the time.
And the next successor bronya is the biggest factor in all of this. All the welt's we see are all special people because they were chosen to become the inheritance of the hero named "WELT" but bronya's case she wasn't chosen to become a hero of humanity, instead she was human with no direct factors to inheriting the will of WELT. She had no special skills, no special inheritance she was purely A normal person, she had to work and be recognized by the 300,000 thoughts as "WELT THE HERO OF HUMANITY"
I can't wait what they have in store for us in star rail we want more Welt!
Most badass scene for me is when welt outwitted sirin during their fight in space where he deliverately missed his attacks with SoE and tricked sirin into thinking that it was because of the damages he took but little did she know welt missed on purpose so that they are on the outer part of the event horizon of the star of eden's blackhole and it caused time diltion for them which gve just enough time for siegfried to escape.
And that's how he got the path of Nihility 😆

I mean, of course, playing the game is the best way to understand what's happening. But there is no easy way to explain the lore of Welt over such a long period of time. I know that I threw a lot of foreign terms and concepts for a new players in there, but tbh, they are not really meant to be fully understood. That's why I also mention in the video the fact that people shouldn't beat their heads around them too much. I am content even if this offers a small glimpse of understanding of his characters.
@@HomuLabs perhaps a tldr at the end of the vid might be beneficial for the new players? Just like some dot points or something to remind them of all the new info you had shared and help it solidify into their memory.
@@VariisNailo I am a new player (just going into HSR and not H3rd bc I feel I am way too late on this game's content by this time), and tbh even tho I might not have understood in a matter of "connecting dots to extra facts", I do have now a general idea of who Welt is as a character and his past lore. Also, tbh I only started playing HI3 at the end of last month (because of my interest in honkai star rail) and have been having a blast (currently working through chapter 27), so it’s never too late to dive in and give it a shot, the only thing is that finding all the time required to finish the main story content (35 chapters) before HSR releases might pose a challenge for most people (my situation is a bit unique with time not really being an issue). The story for HI3 starts a bit slow but it does pick up its pace and the writing just keeps getting better and better as it goes on (with the potential to even move you to tears at times), but either way whatever you end up doing I hope you have fun!

Welt did not go back to earth after leaving the sky people's base, he went directly to the honkai star rail universe to stop the invasion, but then got stuck because their ship was broken.
Apparently the Sugars were sending him back to the earth universe, but something happened during that time and welt got picked up by the express.
We do not have any confirmation of that at the moment. Yes, it could be. Welt implies that he and VA were stranded on a spaceship in a world called 'Salsotto'. Now, if that's the world where he ended up in Alien Space or not, it's not know.

Zhongli was the one who got me to playing genshin and without any knowledge of hi3 or hsr, coincidentally welt was the character who caught my attention the moment i saw him in hsr. I’ve concluded that i have a thing for old men with bursts relating to the sky 😂

There are some quests in Star Rail that are similar to Genshin's character quests, but it's for a limited number of characters right now. (Natasha, Hook, Asta and Clara if I remember correctly) After you complete them, the characters can come and visit you on the Astral Express.
There are character quest, called companion quest, but only limited to landau siblings, Clara, nat, hook, Arlan and asta. But it's quite possibly they will add more in the future

He was the guaranteed 5* I pulled in star rail and while I was aiming for Bronya, I wasn't disappointed. Didn't even know he was actually from the impact universe or that he was such a Badass. Now I don't regret getting him at all
His skill is really useful, slow down enemies and they barely get turns :))
Im so glad to see someone in literally the same situation as me. Wanted bronya, got welt instead in guaranteed, then got another welt in standard. Now that I know his lore, i don't regret getting him anymore

I started an Alt account for HSR going for a Welt starter pull... Wound up with Geppard pull1, Clara pull 2, meh nothing really interesting pull 3, pull 4 AND 5.... Bronya, craziest start but still sad/salty no Welt in all that.... then pulled a 5* Light Cone in the next two 10 pulls
Fun fact: Joyce's original name as a Schicksal rest subject included Omega, which had the same number as W. From there, Einstein decided to call him Welt. Joyce was a reference to Ulysses, though.
I think Anti-Entropy is connected with Star Rail. In APHO they've mentioned that Anti-Entropy got disbanded, in Star Rail you could see Tesla & Einstein on Welt Yang's splash art. Perhaps this group travel to different dimension?

I just got Welt as my first 5 star and I knew nothing about him except he's from honkai impact and he's like zhongli from genshin impact, until I stumbled upon this video and learn about his lore. I just wanna say, WTF bruhh. He's a fcking protagonist... or former protagonist to be exact. What a chad and I regret nothing when I got him. I'm so glad I got him.

@@dave1346I like star rail, what I don't like are these players pretend they know anything about honkai just because they play Star Rail. The fact is, big part of star rail players are from genshin, they never touched HI3rd at all, it's like "hey we're bored, and now there's cool looking game that looks similar with Genshin and with Honkai labelling on the title, let's try it" and then suddenly boom, they're one of us now 😂 now it's 1.4 in star rail, and they never mentioned about Honkai at all, not even once, nor have they ever insinuated it. Hence I always refer it as Star Rail, not Honkai Star Rail.
This is happening too in the TH-cam and twitch content creators. Most, if not all star rail content creators are literally also a genshin content creators that never touched HI3rd in their life, but now they're calling themselves honkai players. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it... but Idk something inside me just don't accept them.
Also it's so cringe when all of those genshin/star rail content creators/streamers got sponsored from Mihoyo to watched the recent HI3rd concert and pretend they know and care about what's going on lmao.
Don't get me wrong, I love Genshin and Star Rail... and that's another thing about HI3rd players. Lots of us actually play all three games, Genshin, Star Rail and, HI3rd, so we don't talk from our ass when we talk about Genshin and Star Rail because we play them aswell. Whereas genshin/star players that only play those two games. It makes sense, people most likely don't try the old version of something if they already use the newer version. It's like people that already have iPhone 15 wouldn't bother trying IPhone 13. That's not a perfect analogy because genshin and star rail aren't HI3rd successor but you get the point.
