I've seen the segment on Austin St. John but I was curious to know if the segment on Thuy was on TH-cam.
Austin's chair was my role model, I can't believe some folks would have so much hate toward it, that chair made me the man I am today and I'm proud to say that.

The story is that JDF wanted out and Shuki Levy approached Austin to be Gold Ranger as well as Red Turbo starting with the movie. But Austin told him he preferred to be the bad guy. So, instead of Tommy being the one to leave, Rocky was (Steve Cardenas wanted to leave too). And they got Blake Foster from a movie Shuki was doing and decided to go after the Beetleborg fans with an 11 year old ranger. Almost killed the franchise.

Well it's been 4 years and things have changed. The fandom is more than happy to have ASJ back in the fandom, and we respect him even more for all the services he has done abroad as a paramedic and firefighter. And ASJ was, is and always will be the greatest Red Ranger. ^^

JDF talked about that and said that Austin change his name, in the franchise there was 3 Jasons, him, Austin and Skull! Aparently JDF didn't like that cause Austin one day change his name on his door and when JDF called him "Jason", he demand to JDF to be called Austin. And we know that JDF is quite sensible man with those small things.

No actually Austin wasnt going to be a background ranger before the episode "Transfer of Power" he along with Walter and Thuy (RIP) left due to discrepancies between the producers due to non-union and salary arrangements, so they brought back JDF's character Tommy to be the white ranger hence if you listen to Austin's character Jason in transfer of power its a different voice, who is actually one of the producers giving the voice over.
I love this video, this is now in my favorites. Seeing Evil Jason beat up the Blue Turbo Ranger still makes me smile, as I've always disliked Justin . I just hope Austin comes back to "Power Rangers" as Jason the Red Ranger, even if it's for another guest appearance. I still get a big kick out of hearing him say "Tyrannosaurus!" :D

sad to say Jdf acts like a dick off camera yet he acts all nice to us fans. but in personal level with the crew he grew up with on MMPR. he acts like hes a hero. i get most people would hate me for posting this and post stupid comments about it. or being denial about what happen. but the hate between jdf and austin need to die down. i can just picture them both just fighting to the "death" on power rangers. XD that be epic but i wish they can just pass the grudge he has for austin. even tho im three years far when this video was posted lol.
