Austin has worked with both Jason Faunt and Daniel Southworth when they did Forever Red, which confirmed that the Quantum Ranger also counts as a Red Ranger.
Yea, but that was really just to make the numbers up. They wanted 10 rangers from 10 years, and since MMPR lasted 3 years, they had to use Alien Rangers as Season 3 rangers, but since we never got to see Red Dairanger in Season 2, they needed to use Quantum as the 10th Ranger.
@@tylerconnelly5142 but it was still the same costume. I mean they used the Zyuranger outfit for all three seasons, even though they used the Diaranger for zords and white ranger in season 2. The dopest Time Force episode was when Wes mask broke and his identity got revealed to his Dad, Mr Collins (RIP)... OR when Jen was super pissed about the murder of Alex and went savage and the Rangers had to stop her from murdering a monster.
The show as a whole is very good, and a nice blow of fresh air to a franchise that mainly targets children. Time Force was way darker than most, as well as In Space.
@@shadowguy20004nah this was the most dope episode. You had Eric doing a movie style fight scene up the stairs to claim the morpher. Then the next one leading into his claiming the morpher and the final stand off of him and Wes. Eric was always the biggest badass after Tommy.

Thuy Trang tribute happens in this series for episode "Circuit Unsure". Vernon Wells and the late Edward Albert RIP brought great drama to this series. Vernon Wells' climatic battle with John Matrix in Commando is my all time favorite. Wes in the past is kind of the great great grandfather to Alex in the future. They also run the theme of the sixth ranger storyline and like Tommy Oliver Dan Southworth's Eric Myers just wants to be part of the team, becoming a leader.
Eric and quantum ranger would have been the power ranger equivalent of an anti hero. Jason faunt had two roles, one as Alex who “dies,” in the first episodes, and then a past ancestor of his of sorts called Wes. Who Jason faunt plays the majority of the role. One thing I liked about Time force is that the Red Ranger isn't actually the leader of the team. Wes does eventually start t take charge a bit later on as the show progresses, but initially it's Jen - the Pink Ranger - who is their leader. Even when she starts to let Wes have more of a leadership role, it's just that. She's LETTING him have some responsibility; as well as learning to trust him.
@michael_d_gadsden1037 Except Wes is NOT the Leader of the Time Force Rangers. He never was; despite being the Red Ranger. What he's the leader of, are the Silver Knights (the security force that his Father created), with Eric as his partner. NOT the Rangers. Jen will always be their official leader.
Ok I know this is the first time y’all have done this together, but this is the content we need right here. If you did a live stream with fans that would be even more dope.
So the quantum ranger powers were made before time force powers, so technically there could have been a team of quantum rangers. Eric is just Quantum Red

The members of Time Force go back in time to follow a time Criminal Ransick. Who killed thier leader and Red ranger “Alex”. Alex has an ancestor in the past (current day 2004 or whatever) Wes who comes from a rich family and has an asshole dad who’s a defense contractor. Wes is the only one who can be red ranger because he shares DNA with Alex (And conveniently has a martial arts back). That season probably had the best storyline/villains of the whole series. Ecliptor was a layered character who wasn't as evil as much as he was loyal, even if the cause was bad. His protection of Astronema, who he possessed a fatherly love for, was proof of that. Ecliptor even momentarily destroyed Darkonda in an epic fight for manipulating her, despite them being on the same side.
Eric wasn't evil, he was just angry because he came from a low class background and had to put effort into everything he did while Wes didn't have to lift a finger for being "somebody's son" yet rejected all that was given to him. The kind of Green With Evil in the Saban era is Ryan the Titanium Ranger from Light Speed Rescue as his father had to give him up to demons to save his life so he was raised by them, now they didn't brainwashim like Rita did with Tommy but he also had a curse in the form of a Snake tattoo that would kill him if it reached his heart. @@SenpaiGeeze Yes. His suit was a repurpused suit of a Cog from PRZeo but the final product was FANTASTIC and I believe his cockpit was an eddited cockpit from on of the Ninjazords cockpits from the 1995 MMPR movie. Ryan too is one of my favorite Rangers. What the studio managed to pull off for his suit was amazing if you compare it to the BattleGrid forms of the VR troopers some 6 years prior. In regards to the stunt actors being Japanese it wasn't a surprise because back in the day there was a show called Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High circa 1994 filmed near the MMPR studio and one of the episodes a the end has scene in which a Red Ranger suit actor is doing stunt work for the fight with a guy in a monster suit and one of the Twins from Sweet Valley ends up dating the "Red Ranger" which I believe is the Japanese stunt actor Austin ST. John usually name drops from time to time. I started watching the show and noticed how some Rangers "grew in size" when they appeard with their helmets off so it was normal for Japanese stunt actors to come to the US and work with the American team, but they also had American stunt actors and one of them was the man himself Daniel Southworth, he's been working with the crew since the very begining when he auditioned for the role of I believe Jason Lee Scott so you can say that his character Eric is also a reflection of all the hard work he himself had to go through to be on the show.
Eric was my favorite. Best intro for 6th ranger. Worked for everything he got! Brings me so much chills. Wasnt given he took destiny into his own hands!
This was a lot of fun. Even though they weren't familiar with the season, I enjoyed their commentary on the differences between Time Force and their seasons.
This was amazing seen Two Legends that Started the Franchise watching and commenting on other season episodes. I watch Timeforce when it first aired in 2001. I had a chance to meet Jason Faunt here in North East Ohio Comics shop. He is like the best friend I wish I have and Mahn he knows alot about the legacy. The Scene when Eric gets the Morpher and the Fight Scene at the end, is all from the Japanese show. Everytime I see Timeforce, I think about my High School Graduation since it was on the same year
15:50 To answer ur question, Jason, Eric is a polar reflection of Wes. When we first meet Eric, hes power hungry, volatile, don't play well with others. But over time, he becomes humbled, learns to be open.
This sounds like a really fun series, just getting your guys commentary on all the most loved, or most unliked episodes of power rangers from series after your own. Although a lot of them are hard to appreciate in a vacuum of the season around it. You should watch Jungle Fury episode 31 Path of the Righteous next.
This was awesome to see you guys react to please do more of these. And yeah when we first meet eric in this show it is shown right away just how much of a chip on his shoulder he has along with a animosity towards Wes and the world for feeling left behind for being poor.
Zack N Jason Whats Good!! Great seeing you two. Enjoyed the choice to watch. Let me know a lil more about why there were 2 red time force rangers did always wonder that. ⛈️
It's been a few years since I've seen Time Force, but I think the next episode debuts the Quantum Rangers Zord. If so, I'd love to have you two comment on that episode, just to compare his Zord and the late JDF's Dragon Zord.
Did anyone noticed the Japanese characters in the concrete floor? I've always noticed how they go back and forth from using the original Japanese footage and the American. They changed eric to the original Japanese actor when he transformed. Just pay attention to it.
Just wanna correct Austin on one thing though. TimeForce is definitely the second most serious season behind RPM but that trend actually started with In Space.
I don't know why,, quantum ranger Morpher is still had "FIRE" in it, how a lazy not to change into something else. The "Time Fire" Sentai aura is still in that scenario.

So, first 13 episodes in as clear of a post as possible: In the year 3000, crime has all but been eliminated except for crimes caused by mutants. Ransik, one of the most dangerous mutants in Millenium City, is captured by in a massive sting operation by Time Force Red Ranger Alex. Ransik is sentenced to the Cryo Prison for punishment but escapes with assistance by his daughter, Nadira (pink hair lady), and Frax (the gold robot). Alex tries to stop Ransik, but the mutant overpowers him and strikes him down with a fatal blow. Alex dies in the arms of his fiancée, Jenn, but not before giving her his Chronomorpher as the Cryo Prison time hops to the year 2001. Filled with anger for letting Ransik escape and a drive for revenge, Jenn steals a Time Ship and the remaining Chronomorphers with her Time Force colleagues Katie, Lucas, and Trip and follow Ransik to 2001. Upon their bumpy arrival to the town of Silver Hills in 2001, the team tries to find Ransik using their standard equipment and their newly-gathered morphers. They try to morph upon finding Ransik but are unable to due to the Red Ranger morpher needing a genetic match to Alex to allow the rest to gain their powers. The four are outclassed by Ransik and his Cyclobots until a young man shows up and helps to fight them back. The man removes his motorcycle helmet after the fight and reveals himself to be a spitting image of Alex. He introduces himself as Wes Collins, the son of the multi-million dollar owner of Bio-lab. Wes learns of the groups plight from Jenn and, at first not believing her, accepts the offer of Alex's morpher, confirming him as Alex's ancestor and the team are finally able to become Rangers. Standard monster of the week stuff happens where we learn that the mutants are compressed into tiny forms (action figures) when they are imprisoned and that a side effect of their mutant DNA is that when a particular patch is struck on them, they grow gigantic. Using Trip's sentient owl/computer, Circuit, Time Force is able to send the Time Flyers to the Rangers and allow them to make the Time Force Megazord. The fight acts to re-freeze the mutants back into their cryostasis. The Rangers live together in an old clock tower and run an Odds-n-Ends business in order to make money. Wes moves in when he gets fed up with his father's greed and plans for Wes' future. As we get toward the episode we just saw, Mr. Collins attempts two projects in order to fight Ransik. First, he creates a Zord-sized tank in order to fight a giant mutant. The tank is destroyed rather quickly. The second is establishing the Silver Guardians, a defensive organization that responds to mutant attacks for paying clients of Bio-lab. Wes learns that his old prep school roommate, Eric, is a member of the team. Eric has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Wes due to all of Wes' wealth and how he didnt use it to get ahead while Eric was at the school due to scholarship and didn’t feel welcome by the other rich kids at the school. During a fight against a powerful mutant, Wes takes a direct shot that would have killed members of the Guardians. The attack shatters his visor and reveals Wes' identity as a Ranger to Eric and Wes' father witnessing the fight from a distance. Wes admonishes his dad for trying to control Wes' future when Mr. Collins tries to question his son's participation as a Ranger. Wes goes to join his friends and saves the day, setting us up for the episode we just saw. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching the episode. I always like seeing ranger actors react/respond to stuff from other seasons.

@@BurnRoddy interesting
I love that Walter and Austin are watching this, I grew up with every single power ranger it's so awesome to see these two reacting to this😊😊😊
Eric was my favorite. Best intro for 6th ranger. Worked for everything he got! Brings me so much chills. Wasnt given he took destiny into his own hands!
I am loving this. It always makes me happy when actors from older power ranger generations react to a later generation.
Did you notice that she was watching Kamen Riders/Master Rider on the TV.
I was just about to type that lol
This is my favortie season! I grew up with this one. I had the VHS and everything for these 3 specifially
This was a lot of fun. Even though they weren't familiar with the season, I enjoyed their commentary on the differences between Time Force and their seasons.
TIME *FIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!*
Bro the JP theme for Quantum Ranger will always play in my head.
Everytime I see Timeforce, I think about my High School Graduation since it was on the same year
This season was made in 2001 right when the original yellow ranger passed away in her car accident
Thuy Trang AKA Trini Kwan. Yes RIP Thuy 💛💛💛🙌 #NeverSayGoodbye #OnceARangerAlwaysARanger

To answer ur question, Jason, Eric is a polar reflection of Wes. When we first meet Eric, hes power hungry, volatile, don't play well with others. But over time, he becomes humbled, learns to be open.
Watching yall check out other power ranger shows with your incite of being actors from the og rangers is so fire.. great content
man, seeing old school rangers reacting to the show sure is awasome
This sounds like a really fun series, just getting your guys commentary on all the most loved, or most unliked episodes of power rangers from series after your own. Although a lot of them are hard to appreciate in a vacuum of the season around it. You should watch Jungle Fury episode 31 Path of the Righteous next.
This was awesome to see you guys react to please do more of these. And yeah when we first meet eric in this show it is shown right away just how much of a chip on his shoulder he has along with a animosity towards Wes and the world for feeling left behind for being poor.
You guys were my favorite first group of rangers and ya'll are the best fighters ever
You guys should watch Countdown to Destruction next! It's the final 2-parter from Power Rangers in Space and the end of the Zordon era.
Time Force is probably the best season of Power Rangers. A lot of things come together to make it that, and Eric is definitely one of them.
Agree the plot was just spectacular
Zack N Jason Whats Good!! Great seeing you two. Enjoyed the choice to watch. Let me know a lil more about why there were 2 red time force rangers did always wonder that. ⛈️
That was cool both of y’all, watch a few more of time force episodes because it gets farther dark
It's been a few years since I've seen Time Force, but I think the next episode debuts the Quantum Rangers Zord. If so, I'd love to have you two comment on that episode, just to compare his Zord and the late JDF's Dragon Zord.
I Remember Watching This,That Was GOOD
love these
Cool Austin St John Walter on the episode
Great reaction vid and Time Force was a great series!
Did anyone noticed the Japanese characters in the concrete floor? I've always noticed how they go back and forth from using the original Japanese footage and the American. They changed eric to the original Japanese actor when he transformed. Just pay attention to it.
Those are the Silver Guardians
Y’all crack me up on the commercials
You guys should watch the entire season. It's one of the best seasons out there. If not, the best
Just wanna correct Austin on one thing though. TimeForce is definitely the second most serious season behind RPM but that trend actually started with In Space.
This was fun
Time Force was where I started to watch Power Rangers, when I was 4 to 5 years old. The good old days of Saturday Morning Fox Kids. 😆
Timeranger and TimeFire's theme is what you want to watch/listen to
I don't know why,, quantum ranger Morpher is still had "FIRE" in it, how a lazy not to change into something else. The "Time Fire" Sentai aura is still in that scenario.
Please do more this was fun
Love it, thanks for sharing amazing content for us fans. Hope to see another reaction video with Walter and Austin on Power Rangers Timeforce episodes...
Force From the Future Parts 1&2
Lovestruck Rangers
Movie Madness Parts 1&2
May the Power Protect You
#itsmorphintime❤🖤
I know Astin and Walter are very busy ppl but they should sit down with the time force cast and marathon the series for an entire weekend.
I love these 2 legends, but Time Force was a superior show.
MMPR was always great, but the presentation and vibe of TF was near perfect.
Time force is my favorite series seeing the ogs watch this is so cool
So, first 13 episodes in as clear of a post as possible:
In the year 3000, crime has all but been eliminated except for crimes caused by mutants.
Eric my favorite Red ranger of all time!
Reminds of Power Rangers PlayBack 😂😂
I love seeing the originals watching the more serious/dramatic seasons

This episode was great. Time force was one of the best power rangers. Second to you guys of course. You guys are awesome. You got me into martial arts
Time force is in my top 5.
Og series, mystic force, ninja force, dino charge, and time force
I can't wait for when these guys watch Forever Red and dissect that episode, to this day imo that is the greatest Power Rangers epiosde/speciL of all time.
Love it
Can we get a video of these two duking it out on "Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid"? Or even playing through the story of the game?
I just realized she was watching masked rider
And I’ve seen this many times and forgot she was watching this
Someone mentioned that in the comments when I was watching bits of Time Force clips on TH-cam
@@GAPearce828that’s funny
Austen and Walter!
Two of the original Power rangers are reacting to Time force stuff!
This is awesome!😆
Magna Defender story arc/introduction would be a cool one, similar to this! The sixth member joining and such!
As for what happened, most people have probably commented, but a human defense force was formed against alien/mutant power villains thanks to Gen1 PR, Time Force shows up as the current. Eric found out that Wes, the son of his boss of the Guardians, is the Red Ranger and thinks he'd be the better ranger. Wes's dad being the father Eric never had or something, I think (it's been a while).
