@@Allagi22 She had been Conanøs assistant for 10 years. Most people work as assistants for half of that time at best. If Sona didn't like the way Conan treated her, im sure she would've been long gone. But obviously they like each other, hence the long time they've been together. On top of that you can tell, from the off-air videos, that Conan is a good boss to Sona as well. They have that classic sibling relationsip when they are together, and I see nothing contentious about that

I love Sona on Conan (and I’m a lifetime fan of him), and this interview highlights why. Besides her obviously great relationship with Conan, you can tell that’s she’s real, thoughtful, and very funny, and it seems they she and Tak are well matched and happy together. There are so many parts of her engagement story that mirror mine to my now-husband (not knowing if you’re really being asked for your hand in marriage, getting a courthouse wedding before a big wedding to appease my strict Ethiopian parents, etc.), and that makes me like her more 💜
Sona is a true gem. Just from her interactions with Conan and Matt I can see that she's 100% authentic, and everyone needs more friends like that around.

I actually heard about Sona’s first name on the Conan podcast. Such a big fan! Sona is hellafunny!
Can I just say, I 100% agree with them on the jump scare style horror movie. It's such a cheap cop-out. If you can't hold my attention with ominous plot and acting, then plastering your movie with crap designed to trigger my fight or flight response is not going to save your bad movie. Yes, you'll have me flinching probably every time it happens, even if I'm expecting it, but man, I'm getting angrier every time you pull that on me. There are example of tasteful jump scares, though. Remember the original Child's Play movie from the 80's? Zero jump scares until the very end of the movie. It's fantastic. For an hour and a half, they suck you into this Twilight Zone style creepy story, and then suddenly hit you with this adrenaline fueled psychotic scramble. Beautiful.
