What do you think, Trevor?
In Big World! Big Adventures!, Sailor John's character model was reused as a patron at a cafe in San Francisco so I don't think he really reappears in BWBA as himself. Characters models are often used as background cameos so don't take it the wrong way or confused. Also, the reason why Diesel stays on Sodor forever in the show because it helps him appears more as the main villain and if he remains living on the mainland, it would be hard so the producers did that. Amazingly, Diesel was not sent back this time around, as Sir Topham Hatt told Thomas and Fergus he would move Diesel to the smelters (possibly because he might have not seen any point in bringing Diesel in as a spare engine and then sending him back for his bad behaviour); Diesel has remained on the North Western Railway since.
My top 10 list: 10. PT Boomer 9. Timothy the ghost engine of sodor 8. Diesel 7. Arry and Bert 6. Spencer 5. Alfred/98462 4. George 3. Tatam Oliver 2. Sailor John 1. Diesel 10
Ok well, I like that D10 backstory, but my issue with that is that Mr. Conductor probably would have sent him away immediately if he knew about him. Diesel 10 was likely request by Sir Topham Hatt for a trial run.
@UCz-41icCPSI5VC36wZMTZFQ the fact that he goes in a really friendly sale boat kinda annoys me also tricking Thomas isn’t very realistic for a pirate also he has a baseball bat as a weapon which is not like a pirate
That is disappointing. Andrew Brenner could have Diesel 10 appear more in the show and it's CGI style and fix him back to his full villainy from his debut just like he did with Thomas and his friends in Season 17 with their classic personalities.
Well I'm not really the person who supports villains but here are my thoughts on each one. 10. Well I love this guy! And to be fair, I don't find him scary at all. I think he's sort of funny. 9. He's okay. But his paint colour really fits him. And I do have other villains he's substituted for in my rewritten series. Also, I'm okay with him reforming in All engines go! 8. Eh, they're fine IMO. And I do wish they had nameplates so we could tell who's who. 7. I LOVE this one! His paintwork is awesome and I love how he's based on the Mallard! 6. TBH, I think they're pretty good. I always thought they were really good characters as a teenager and I still do today as an adult. 5. He's rather funny! But I actually think your George impression is really good! 4. I adore him! He's always been a classic character since day one! 3. Do I love this one! He's a super threatening engine and did I feel sorry for Philip! Plus, I'm hoping Vinnie reforms soon. 2. I like him and I like how he's voiced over by Sir John Hurt. 1. You know what? I now really like Diesel 10 because of his unrealistic additional claw! And I will be making a backstory about Diesel 10 for a special in my rewritten series. So, some of my favourite Thomas villains would have to be: • Smudger • Baz & Bernie • Spencer • Diesel 10 • Diesel
@@thomasegcouplesandships1956 Good to hear. Also, Diesel 10 is better off mysterious and without a backstory because he's fine that way. At least Diesel remains an devious antagonist in the original show. All Engines Go ruins him and his devious status.
Here's my backstory: Diesel 10 is a old diesel engine who helped built the Dieselworks along with a unknown diesel engine, later on the workers decided a claw would possibly help speed up construction. It helped, but one day a steam engine arrived on Sodor and made fun of Diesel 10 a lot, but one day Diesel 10 got sick of his teasing and hit him with his claw with all his strength. He got in serious trouble and was sent to his shed. He thought all steamies were trouble so he made sure he would destroy every last one. Also, when construction finished, the workers aloud Diesel 10 to run the Dieselsorks. How's that backstory?
I don't think your backstory is perfect. Too touchy of steam engine teasing. Besides, he's fine just hating steam engines and nothing else. Thanks for trying.
@Michael Butler But remains devious and causing trouble to prove that diesels are better. Besides, whatever antagonistic traits they're adding to Diesel like causing trouble and tricking others, I'm all for it.
Pt boomer should’ve been kept in the final cut of Thomas and the magic railroad. Pt boomer would’ve been the main antagonist while diesel 10 is the secondary antagonist
I agree with you that Diesel 10 is, hands down, the best villain in TTTE and I think him replacing PT Boomer as the main villain in Thomas and the magic railroad was okay
Listen, Trevor, I understand your wondering but I think Diesel 10 is fine without a backstory and better off mysterious like some villains in media if you don't mind. But him realizing the destructive potential to cause havoc is perfect, along with deciding to get rid of steam engines so that diesels will dominate railways which is my pick.
@@TrevortheTrainFan As well as having a vison to dominate the railway industry in Britain and on Sodor by replacing all steam engines with diesel traction.
Well Splatter and Dodge were meant to be in Day of the diesels and the great race but then they got dropped and replaced by new characters In Day of the diesels Splatter and Dodge's replacements were Sidney and Paxton and Dennis was also supposed to be in the movie but he got dropped along with them and Dennis's replacement was Norman And in The Great Race their replacements were the mainland diesels And yes George was supposed to make an appearances in TATMR but since his model wasn't brought to Canada for filming and his role didn't pass the storyboard stage he didn't make any appearances in the movie

Schemer is actually a Shining Time Station character. I thought I'd mention him since he's considered neutral. But thanks for clarifying. Also, I didn't add in D261 because he's a one-off character and made frequent appearances in the magazines.
@@michaelblair4075 Because his only major appearance was in Bowled Out. Also, this video was originally made LONG before Baz and Bernie appeared in Season 24.
Unpopular Opinion.........after finally seeing every single PT Boomer scene from the leaked workprint, I was honestly very underwhelmed by him. Britt and the fandom hyped this guy up as the "Thomas & Friends" equivalent of a Disney renaissance villain, but what I saw was the "Thomas & Friends" equivalent of Butch the Bully from "Cool Cat Saves The Kids" or Dirty Dog from "Cool Cat Fights Coronavirus". Aside from blowing up Muffle Mountain, whenever he was on screen, all he ever seemed to do is mindly taunt Burnett and Billy, and it just didn't do it for me. He just didn't have that one major scene that really made him seem as if he ain't f..king around. Compare that to Diesel 10. With Diesel 10, we've seen him tear down Tidmouth Sheds to interogate the steamies and Mr.Conductor, dangle Mr.Conductor over a barely functional viaduct, and try to have James be scrapped like what Ary and Bert tried to do to Stepney. But as for PT Boomer? I was honestly more intimidated by Huricane and Frankie. No offense to anyone who likes PT Boomer, but while I agree he does make TATMR's clusterf..k of a premise more consistent, I wish Britt had utalized him better and give him that one scene that REALLY made him a worth while threat. Heck if you ask me, Sailor John I would argue is what PT Boomer should've been. But that's just my opinion.
I actually agree with you when I first heard about arry and Bert they were, the hardest wins to figure it out which one of them is arry and Bert I mean it's true to always tell Bert because he has more stubble I think about that I want to know which ones arry and which ones Bert and that's how I figure it out in the mall series about arry and Bert but is CGI for me they're actually the hardest wins to figure it out which ones are arry and Bert thankfully figure out their voices which ones are arry and which ones burp that's how I figure it out because their voices in the CGI series well first their voices were the same and now there were different and that's how I figure it out again about arry and Bert
I agree with you on Diesel 10. I just want to my own version of Day of the Diesels. My own take on a backstory: Diesel 10 used to work on the mainland and 3 of his brothers had to deal with a tank engine who is a ruder version of Thomas until that tank engine pushed one of his brothers into the sea and shoved another into the arm of a crane that was in front of him. Diesel 10 did had the experiment claw on him just like yours. He vows he will destroy all steam engines especially Thomas the Tank Engine. How’s that for a backstory?
Uh, I don't think that would do. Rude tank engine? I think Diesel 10 just wants to get rid of steam engines so that diesels will reign supreme on every railway and just hate steam engines and nothing else. Thanks for trying though.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 The reason for that is: Diesel 10 was a more like to his Calling All Engines personality but after discovering the truth about the death of his brothers, leaving him greatly heartbroken. He allowed his negative feelings to consume him. No matter how the other engines tried to comfort him, he wouldn’t listen. So for like Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear but more darker.
@@steamzilla95 I prefer him more like to his Magic Railroad personality and CGI appearance of hating steam engines, diesel domination plans for Sodor, mysterious and no tragedies involved if you don't mind.
The horrid lorrys aren't villains, they were just doing their job as road trucks and trying to prove road trucks are the best. George and Bulgy are villains because they want to wreck the railroads
@@TrevortheTrainFan I never saw the magazine Ms, but the trash talk they did in the episode to the trains and the trash talk the Diesels do to steamies is what Ford truck guys and Chevy truck guys do all the time and neither is evil
More Honorable Mentions: Gordon, James and Henry (Dirty Work, part of The Duck/Diesel Arc) Percy (Duck Takes Charge, Percy Takes The Plunge and Pop Goes The Diesel, also parts of The Duck/Diesel/Percy Arc) Daisy, BoCo and Mavis (Escape, Rusty To The Rescue and Calling All Engines) Toad (Fish and Emily Knows Best)
Sorry, but I consider that show a guilty pleasure. So, therefore, I'm not going to rant on it. But it's still not as good as the original in terms of clever writing and characters.
I refuse to believe that Spencer is "villainous." Spencer can't be the only engine in the 24 seasons to cut off fellow locomotives, I am certain that Thomas must've done similar if not same behaviors. Also his rivalry with Gordon is only a sign of competitiveness, you can't count that as a "villainous" feature. If that is how you define "villainous". Then Thomas, Percy, James, Bertie, Harold, Philip, Steven, Glynn, Connor, Caitlin, Bill, Ben, Hong Mei are all "villainous" then.

So, some of my favourite Thomas villains would have to be:
• Smudger
• Baz & Bernie
• Spencer
• Diesel 10
• Diesel
Too bad you're not fond of villains. Vinnie's perfect as a steam engine bully and better off remaining that way.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 actually, I don't mind some villains.
For The Last Time Harrison, Smudger Is NOT A Villian!
@@ValentinSparkle16 again, thanks for reminding me BFF!
@@thomasegcouplesandships1956 Good to hear. Also, Diesel 10 is better off mysterious and without a backstory because he's fine that way. At least Diesel remains an devious antagonist in the original show. All Engines Go ruins him and his devious status.
Here's my backstory:
Diesel 10 is a old diesel engine who helped built the Dieselworks along with
a unknown diesel engine, later on the workers decided a claw would possibly help
speed up construction. It helped, but one day a steam engine arrived on Sodor and made fun of Diesel 10 a lot,
but one day Diesel 10 got sick of his teasing and hit him with his claw with all his strength.
Did you know geroge was going to return in free the roads in season 23 but sadly he did not appear.
I didn’t know that!
Geroge was going to have max and monty role in the episode.
Easily the best is Diesel 10! Great points about PT Boomer too!
I'm not sure what my top 10 is but my favourite is definitely Diesel
@Michael Butler But remains devious and causing trouble to prove that diesels are better. Besides, whatever antagonistic traits they're adding to Diesel like causing trouble and tricking others, I'm all for it.
Diesel 10 is my most favorite Thomas villain and he’s totally awesome!
Pt boomer should’ve been kept in the final cut of Thomas and the magic railroad. Pt boomer would’ve been the main antagonist while diesel 10 is the secondary antagonist
Or them sharing the main villain role.
Yea why did diesel 10 have to be the secondary villain?
So wouldn't diesel 10 be the main villain aswell.
Yeah diesel 10 is the best villain of Thomas
I Like Frankie and Hurricane The Most
Hopefully a full CGI remake of the Magic Railroad can finally add Petey Boomer in as a villain! As well as George as one of Diesel 10's henchmen!
Don’t forget Edward, Cranky, and some Sodor civilians in the background! 😄
I have plans to do that in script style with other characters appearing in it to give the busy railway look.
@@TrevortheTrainFan Here’s another thing. One of the lorries said the Terminator’s catch phrase “I’ll be back”
I like diesel 10's CGI voice.
I think his magic railroad one is kinda better
I agree with you that Diesel 10 is, hands down, the best villain in TTTE and I think him replacing PT Boomer as the main villain in Thomas and the magic railroad was okay
My favorite villain is hurricane and sailor John and Diesel 10
"The very first video of your's I ever watched!"
When the horrid lorries were rude to the engines I didn't mind because they made me laugh especially when they did it to Toby
It would be nice if they returned to the show one day. But I'm afraid that's not going to happen now.
We might see some new villains but I DONT THINK SO BECAUSE OF THAT STUPID REBOOT
@@emmawayland1 Or return old ones but you're right.
I can live with them not returning, since at the end of the episode, the narrator explicitly stated that they never returned.
I watched this when I was little
Splatter & dodge where going to return in day of the diesels & the great race but they got replaced by Sidney and Paxton.
And the Mainland Diesels, Ulli included.
Dennis also got replaced by Norman.
I understand and respect your opinion.

I wonder if you do or don’t like splatter and dodge
I actually like Splatter and Dodge. I just can’t fit every single villain on this list.
When you mentioned Spencer being painted silver there are gresley a4 Pacific locomotives in real life that are painted silver
George did make one cameo in the great discovery
Bullstrode returned in all engines go but he lost his grumpy mood
My list
Pt boomer
Arry and bert
Spencer
Diesel
Splatter and dodge
Sailor john
Bulgy
George
Max and Monty
Diesel 10
Diesel 10 hands down deserves to be the best villain in the thomas franchise.
Sailor John.
And they thought Boomer was scary? Really?
Ye he littarly had a bomb to blow up Thomas that’s even more worst then boomer

Happy Birthday 🎁🎂🎈🎉🎊
Thank you Trevor Davis.
@@tonydavis6766 You’re welcome! 😉
Would you consider Class 40 a villain?
Obviously yes since he was snobbish and rude to the steam engines.
Well Splatter and Dodge were meant to be in Day of the diesels and the great race but then they got dropped and replaced by new characters
In Day of the diesels Splatter and Dodge's replacements were Sidney and Paxton and Dennis was also supposed to be in the movie but he got dropped along with them and Dennis's replacement was Norman
And in The Great Race their replacements were the mainland diesels
And yes George was supposed to make an appearances in TATMR but since his model wasn't brought to Canada for filming and his role didn't pass the storyboard stage he didn't make any appearances in the movie
Just image Judge Doom in Thomas and Frenids
I believe Diesel 10 is the best AND the evilest!
Do a part two of this and add hurricane
I think one top 10 Thomas villains video is enough for me.
I couldnt even name 10 villains and this guy makes a top 10 out of it🤣

How is sceamer a Thomas & friends character & why didn’t you add Bazz Bernnie D261 Hector Hurricane and Frankie
Schemer is actually a Shining Time Station character. I thought I'd mention him since he's considered neutral. But thanks for clarifying. Also, I didn't add in D261 because he's a one-off character and made frequent appearances in the magazines.
How is D261 a one off
@@michaelblair4075 Because his only major appearance was in Bowled Out.
4:46 thats so cursed

THOMAS is the BEST engine in the world
Check out what Mr conductor fan 1406 did with his backstory in his Thomas and the Magic railroad parody full movie.
I agree with you on Diesel 10. I just want to my own version of Day of the Diesels.
My own take on a backstory:
Diesel 10 used to work on the mainland and 3 of his brothers had to deal with a tank engine who is a ruder version of Thomas until that tank engine pushed one of his brothers into the sea and shoved another into the arm of a crane that was in front of him. Diesel 10 did had the experiment claw on him just like yours. He vows he will destroy all steam engines especially Thomas the Tank Engine.
How’s that for a backstory?
Very interesting!
It's a great backstory :D
Uh, I don't think that would do. Rude tank engine? I think Diesel 10 just wants to get rid of steam engines so that diesels will reign supreme on every railway and just hate steam engines and nothing else. Thanks for trying though.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 The reason for that is:
Diesel 10 was a more like to his Calling All Engines personality but after discovering the truth about the death of his brothers, leaving him greatly heartbroken.

I must have known desiel was a antagonist because of his black appreciate
I refuse to believe that Spencer is "villainous." Spencer can't be the only engine in the 24 seasons to cut off fellow locomotives, I am certain that Thomas must've done similar if not same behaviors. Also his rivalry with Gordon is only a sign of competitiveness, you can't count that as a "villainous" feature. If that is how you define "villainous". Then Thomas, Percy, James, Bertie, Harold, Philip, Steven, Glynn, Connor, Caitlin, Bill, Ben, Hong Mei are all "villainous" then.
