“We don’t talk about that area.” I respect the video about him, Doug, but CGI just ain’t the boi we had established to us in his opening performance- TATMR D10 = Peak D10
Neil Crone is the definitive Diesel 10 voice. Not saying Keith Scott is a bad VA (listening to his regular voice actually would've made him perfect if he was the narrator had Thomas been given an Australian dub), but his voice for the villain himself just sounds like a generic villain (and apparently he made him sound like the big bad wolf from the 1930's 3 Little Pigs which doesn't work in the way it's performed). There's just something about Neil's voice that brings D10 to life with that New Jersey voice (and the Russian accent he originally improvised, this can be found in a YOUCH Films Podcast interview here).
Even as a kid, I really liked Diesel 10. Mainly because of the claw, but also unlike characters like Diesel and Spencer to name a few, Diesel 10 as you said chooses violence, but due to his reputation, and his claw, he is portrayed to actually be a horrifying villain in a train's perspective.
I would’ve LOVED for Diesel 10 to be in The Great Race (2016). He would basically act like Chick Hicks in Gordon’s race and he would try to crash the racing engines and then he would sabotage the shunting challenge and even fight Vinnie. Also wish Splatter and Dodge appeared in Day of the Diesels and The Great Race. I loved those two so much.
One thing about Diesel 10 is that we never see his driver, nor is he mentioned, even in fan productions. I have a few burning questions. Does Diesel 10 even have a driver? How is Pinchy operated? Is Pinchy even controlled by a person?
@@D10Studios235 Unless someone does a video showing him to have a driver. The closest thing was Defenders of Sodor, where Theodore Osbourne literally gets inside Diesel 10's cab, but his driver wasn't shown, nor did he speak.
That is a great video and I'm glad you praised Diesel 10 as the best part of Magic Railroad. He really is a great Thomas villain on being evil, steam-hating and diesel domination. Pity it didn't stay that way in later appearances thanks to poor writing ruining him by Sam Barlow, Paul Larson and Sharon Miller. If he remained the way in CGI, it would have been great in that style and if it weren't for Mattel deeming him too scary, he would've appeared more in the CGI series and fully fixed back to his best evil portrayal by Andrew Brenner's great writing.
That was a nice and I do agree. He never sacred me as a kid, I found him entertaining and is one of my favorite villains. Diesel 10, Splatter, and Dodge really do steal the show and I like that Splatter and Dodge are intelligent sidekicks, they should’ve retuned in the fig era. I feel Neil Crone is better because he sounds funny, but still threatening. I can tell he had so much fun. Keith Scott’s performance does sound kinda like Tim Curry, but he just makes Diesel 10 boring. It sucks that they made him out of character in Calling All Engines and the cgi era. The opening in Day Of The Diesels even hinted a chase scene.
I’m sorry guys, but Keith gives off those evil villain vibes that I need. Neil sounds a bit more obnoxious, not that it’s a bad thing, as it’s enjoyable, but I feel like Diesel 10 needs to sound like a calm, calculated, deep sounding character. I believe that when Diesel 10 needed to get angry, Keith would put energy in
Diesel 10's plan is to find and destroy Lady The Magical Engine because he believes in Magic and Lady's magic makes her more powerful that Diesel 10 ever will be
Keith Scott would better sound for D199 or D40125 even if those Characters are only Appearing in the RWS. My Headcannon for D10's Accent is because of his Driver on the Mainland cuz he came from New Jersey that's why he speaks like an Engine from New Jersey.
Thomas and The Magic Railroad is only a good movie on its own. When not considering cannon to the series as it was never really brought up throughout the rest of the tv series, the movie on its own is just very wholesome in memory lane, but that’s not to say it’s also bad… only in a few spots. Like the voices, most are great yet many are considered confusing like James and Percy considering they sound more like females, that and also considering Edward is not in the film one bit! However it also implies to IRL cast, Alec Baldwin is just really putting in such a terrific job and having fun, but say when it comes to Peter Fonda he acts like he just doesn’t really care, I get it he’s depressed in the film but I mean common. In short the movie is fine on its own, but when you put it with Thomas and add magic it just doesn’t stir too well.
1.James and percy were originally supposed to be voiced by Miacheal angelis yes the UK narrator. 2. Edward wasnt in cuz Britt said they has no space in the movie for him and his model wasnt ready either

Neil Crone wins everytime.
How???

Keith Scott's voice for Diesel 10 does sound like Sideshow Bob though. At least SilverBand7's performance is much better.

I wish that everyone would stop criticizing TATMR

That’s a nice idea.
Diesel 10 is definitely the best thing about Magic Railroad. He’s one of the most perfect villains ever in my opinion.
Agreed.
One thing about Diesel 10 is that we never see his driver, nor is he mentioned, even in fan productions. I have a few burning questions. Does Diesel 10 even have a driver? How is Pinchy operated? Is Pinchy even controlled by a person?
Guess we’ll never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

THATS WHY HES MY GOATTTTTTTTTTTT🙏🙏🙏🙏 seriously thank you for this. one of my favourite characters of all time getting the appreciation he deserves

I remember as a kid, I try to hide when Diesel 10 makes his first appearance. Great video
Keith Scott sounds similar to his cgi voice

When D10 knocks the shed at the smelters yard down, does Splodge actually say “push that”?
Kieth Scott’s Diesel 10 reminds me of Dr Robotnik from AOSTH
Diesel 10's plan is to find and destroy Lady The Magical Engine because he believes in Magic and Lady's magic makes her more powerful that Diesel 10 ever will be
Scot sounds like a Disney villian his not bad but crone just sounds better
Awesome Job Also I Love Diesel 10 He’s One of My Favorite Villains
Sailor John: am I a joke to you?
He was the 2nd best villian/antagonist imo
So what about CGI diesel 10?: We don’t talk about that area had me dying😂😂😂
Even though diesel 10 scared me back then I find him to be my favorite villain
When I was young my fav character was diesel 10
My all time beloved movie
I like Day of the Diesels Diesel 10 and I like his ending scene in that one movie.
TATMR deserves more awards and to be cannon
Scot does sound more intimidating but crone is a bettrr voice overall
TATMR deserves to be cannon
Great job on the video I love the video essay and editing style. I know TH-cam is hard so don't give up. You're already putting out quality content
I’d give that title to Sailor John
Guess Diesel 10 and Sailor John are going for that.
10 out of 10 for evil deeds and brutal strength
Should I make something for dodge?

Just got a Tomy Diesel 10 and a Tomy Lady from eBay on Monday.
Diesel 10’s model perfectly represents him in the movie.
Comedic yet VERY sinister.
4:12 why my man sound like Armada Megatorn?
As much as I don't like Thomas and the magic railroad diesel 10 is spot on until Day of the diesel ruined him
If only Sharon Miller's writing haven't ruined his evil character.
Fr if Sharon miller was there i bet d10 would have thrown sth to the other side into the wall
He’s awesome
I actually love Diesel 10’s New Jersey accent, I think it suits him. Of course, that’s just my opinion.
nice video you are just like the Unlucky tug !
OH MY GOD STOP WITH THOSE COPYRIGHT MASSAGE JOKES I SO SICK OF IT!!! 2:45
Is it just me or does the old va sound like beast wars megatron 4:10
Keith Scott reminds me of Scar from the lion king
Wow
Everyone says TATMR derailed the franchise, but I disagree wholeheartedly.
Agreed.
Same here
2000s
4:08 Russian accent fits Diesel 10 way better in my opinion
@@GreatWesternProductions That’s not the Russian accent
@@D10Studios235 I guess i confused some things, remember hearing Diesel 10 originally was going to have Russian accent, but ok, im not TATMR expert
Diesel 10 not have good brain go for most diesel,
