We had -35 degrees Celcius plus windchill on Christmas eve and temperatures will be that low again on Friday I live in southwestern Ontario 😁♥🇨🇦

The coldest I've ever felt is -22. This crazy weather and everything else going on in the world is nerve-wracking to say the least. Maverick warms my heart everytime I see him. My twins girls are only 2 months younger than him and I look at them and smile knowing I get the privilege to watch them grow and learn as well as Mav and I appreciate y'all sharing his life journey with us as you have the rest of your beautiful little blessings. Hey Granger, I live in west central Minnesota and glad to see you made it up north!! The coldest I've experienced here is -72ºF windchill, filling my car with gas. I'm glad you had a chance to spend some time outside just breathing in the sweet, fresh, crisp winter air. There's nothing like it!
1995-96, I had to drive 60 miles in -29F with 45 wind speed, was -93F wind chill. Linton, ND to Bismarck, ND. Enjoy Winter haha.

Coldest temp I've ever been in is -56° without the windchill. Embarass, MN in 1996. I've slept out in a tent at -30° that same year in the Boundry Waters in MN.

How I decide it's cold out.
My DEF freezes, fuel gels, propane freezes, air lines shatter, my body weight doesn't move the landing gear handles. Basically when the cold makes working, a chore.
"Anything below 0" is also a good measure.

Hi to the Smiths. -40 was the coldest I've been in and I live in Minnesota.
Lowest temp I've felt is negative 42 at Ft Drum, NY. Snowflakes were the size of my hand and the experience of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing was absolutely beautiful!

Coldest I have experienced was when I lived in Warsaw, IN (where your reclaimed wood came from). Temperature was -23 with a -43 wind chill. Walking outside brought tears to my eyes.
Since I live in North Dakota, I have experienced some temps to -38.I thought about you last Friday when I saw the weather and temps and thought…..Granger is going to freeze and never want to come back. Lol
The night I had my son (12/9/1995) it was -50° I started hemorrhaging at my mom & step-dad wedding reception.

Granger- we hit the teens in NC back around Christmas and while everyone was complaining I was LOVING IT. That crisp, cold air was so refreshing

I think the coldest I have experienced here was -30 wind chill, maybe -5 or -10 real temp. Amber, I am not sure I would listen to the podcast itself, but I am happy you re doing it. What I love about this video is the one little oak tree that survived. It’s such a strong testimony that all the other acorns did not make it. Remember it takes one person to share their testimony about Jesus to make an impact in somebody’s life. If you have faith in Jesus Christ we are like that one Oak tree making an impact because Jesus lives inside of us. Granger I think you need to make a song about this.
First, I'm kicking myself I missed you were coming to MN. I'm only 4 hrs away, would've booked a room and come to the show. Second MN Boomer lifers pretty much ignore wind chill except that it shortens the time exposed skin gets frostbite. Last, coldest I've been was when I drove charter bus. Drove a hockey team from MN to Regina Saskatchewan Canada, -44 F, the ice on the inside windows of the bus was thick from all the people breathing, never shut the bus down the whole trip. Never thought I'd wish for -20 until that trip. Up in Regina a train derailed along the highway because the track split from the cold.
This woman is in Vermont and are currently in an Arctic weather warning because temperatures are currently dropping below zero. I’m used to it in January.🤷🏻♀️ Now here’s the crazy part, we are moving to Texas and I am not going to lie, I am struggling with this HUGE change. I love y’all and I am married to a southern man from Tennessee, but I am from New England and I love my seasons and mountains and snow. I don’t like rattlesnakes and lethal spiders and how hot it gets. I am a married mom of four adult kids and three are moving with us and I’m scared of something happening to them. My anxiety is off the charts with leaving our tiny town to a big city suburb. I wish I could find someway to make my fears subside but I just can’t. It going to be 5 on Friday with a wind chill of -40 Saturday is going to be 2 with a wind chill of -50 here in NH it’s coming down from Canada luckily it will only be here two days Sunday and Monday will be 40. This is actually the third warmest winter on record for NH🥶❄️☃️

-61F in NE MN. Yep trees, birds, flowers, animals are different. Schools don’t shut down unless we get tons of snow. Meaning more than a foot or two in a short time. Even then they don’t always shut down.

Lived in Chicago 1985-1990 early 80’s it was below -60 for over a month wind chill act temp -14 was operating a road and towing service it was brutal! - Granger you look like your losing weight take care of yourself don’t burn the candle at both ends- the best life you will have in raising your children!
Hey Granger when I was able to haul RV trailers for a living I was all over the USA & yes traveling was great seen a lot the coldest I was in was upper northern MN. so close to Canada I think town was Roland slept in truck cause they was closed when I got there & it dropped to -55 with wind chill -25 normal but had one trip to AZ. Glendale & AC broke in truck slept that night with 109 next day 115 but loved that job glad the one oak tree made it one is better than none. Happy to know y'all are fine & just think 6 more weeks & spring the great time when the lord shows us new life plus let Amber know I will be 🙏 for the young boy she was talking about sorry not saying his name my memory isn't to good now days GB y'all (your lost old wolf pup friend LTC 😀)
I’m from Red Lake, MN but live in Nashville, TN now. I was over winter and moved. That -19° felt good only because it wasn’t windy. In the winter when you’re congested, you bundle up and go sit outside to get congestion relief.
I am in Red River Valley area in MN. Last year was bad!!! We had -40 with wind guest making it almost -60. 5/6ft. drifts of snow at the end of our driveway. School bus called me and said they would not be going down our road and I had to meet them at the highway. Crazy year!
The only nice thing about really cold nights, it is so quiet and peaceful out.
