Granger my husband and I did camping every year for about 12 years or so only we had a ground tent that was canvas with ropes that held the tent up so that meant you had to watch where you going or ya trip yourself. Our stove was a Coleman but it ran with coal oil , those were the good ol! days. Last year we had my son and his wife for a couple of weeks and their 4 boys so I went out and bought a tent for them to camp ⛺️ in our backyard,but they only slept in one night. So I said you boys are chicken. They would go in it in the daytime only. We had a big camp fire 🔥 which they loved we had one every night making s’mores,hotdogs, and spiders 🕷️ out weiners . Dang. I haven't been camping in like 10 years. This made me realize how much I love camping and need to do it again soon.
It looked like a fun and relaxing camping adventure. And Amber and Mavie got to join in.

Thank you, Granger, for taking us along for your campout. I remember as a kid, and later as an adult camping out by a fire. It was the best memories I have. Later on as I got older and less able to get off the ground I bought an RV and camped and deer hunted on primitive campgrounds during the winter with my dad and brother. My dad is no longer with us, and those days will never come again. But, I'm thankful for the time we got to spend camping together. Lincoln and London will remember these times when they're older, also. Make it the best times like you're doing now and they will never forget how dad took them in the woods to camp and how much fun it was. Wish I could camp again with my dad but I can't. If one day the same happens to you they will have these memories, also. And no regrets. Love yall from Alabama.

I have a 2.5 year old boy and another little boy on the way due this Summer. I look forward to doing this with them. I grew up in a divorced home and my dad never made the effort to do this with us - or was ever around. These are goals. Thanks for filming this, G!

The best times in my life were when my children and I went camping. So thankful we did a lot of it while they were young. The very best memories.

You should totally take Maverick camping, my husband and I went when our daughter was 6 mos old, she grew up loving camping along the Wabash river. Fond memories from every second of those times.

PS: Mr. Granger Ms Lisa Marie Presley died last Thursday from heart failure. Heart failure runs in the Elvis family. Elvis and his parents both died from heart failure. Elvis was 42 if I remember right. I think his mom was 46. Elvis' dad died two years after him (can't remember his age though). Ms Lisa was 54. Sad the basic Presley family is now gone. Elvis has three granddaughters left. Condolences to her daughters and mother.

Late to the episode here. But just like all the other ones, you guys are making some amazing memories that your kids will remember forever. Very promising, considering these are the days of constant screen time. Building forts, camping, playing outside with bug bites (no matter how annoying those can be)… some of the most fun memories I had with my family. I love this & I hope more parents seeing this decide to take their kids outside and PLAY!

I believe family is the first think in life & you & Amber always show that which is what are young couples need to see now days plus you show what hard work will give you. But most important thing you both show is have faith & falling his word will give you all the wonders of life which is one think I have so much trouble with maybe one day I will be able to set down & have coffee with you both & talk about that trouble. I think this might be my most favorite episode of all time... we love to go camping and just relax in the woods.. it's so peaceful. My favorite part is making breakfast on the griddle and coffee.. the last time we went we also made grilled cheese it was so good.. we made ours with cooked goetta inside too 😋 a German breakfast oats meal from Cincinnati 🥰 you guys should try it sometime ! Thanks for taking us camping with you... the joy in your kids was so humbling
