Hey the Smiths and YeeYee nation. Please keep my wife Alma in your prayers. She has a bowel blockage and 2 fistulas they're telling her she needs surgery asap, they're trying to find a hospital and surgeon that will take her. Update!! Waiting on an room to become available at UAB (University of Alabama Birmingham) which is 3 and half hours away from us. No other hospital near by had rooms available. She's in a lot of pain. I'm letting her rest.
Update: Just left the hospital about 10 minutes ago.

This brought back all the feels of finding my half siblings. I was adopted and found both sides of my biological family. Parents never married. I have 4 half-sisters and 2 half-brothers !!! Meeting my Poppa (Dad) was life changing. Meeting my sisters was mind blowing... one of them and I could be twins!!! Except she got the curly blonde hair and I got the board straight blonde hair 😉😊😂. Building relationships has been such a blessing!!

God is good. This year with the unexpected deaths of my parents four months apart I’ve learned that the hurts and estrangement no longer matter.
I’m thankful for forgiving my Dad earlier this year and letting the pain go…we got to enjoy a few months without that strain.
I just met my half brother for the first time this past weekend and it is the best feeling in the world meeting family i can totally relate so happy this has happened for you!

I found out I had an older sister with 23 & Me. Crazy to learn you have another sibling after 48 years! She looks so much like my younger brother, also from another Mom, it is crazy! I love your content. I found your channel while I was traveling down Matt's offtheranch videos and he went to a music video shoot with Granger. I am so happy to have found all of you, also, I need to get outside and you keep me in front of the screen. I love your stories. I have also cried many tears. I just want to send out blessings for your family.

I’m not 100% sure but i think it was Peter, anyway one of the disciples ask Jesus he said Master if my brother does me wrong how many times must I forgive him 7 times ?
Jesus replied: 7 times 77 times.
Pretty powerful words saying if we don’t love ❤️ our brothers and sisters on earth and continuously forgive them, Then The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit in Heaven is going to know we don’t really love them and we will not be having Jesus on our behalf asking God to forgive us for our sins against God and his word on our day of Judgment before him.

Hey Amber I'm so glad you got to meet your brother! I was born in Houston, Texas and adopted my a couple in Mobile, Alabama. I found my half siblings a brother and 3 sisters in 2020 also birth mom but she died before I could meet her. It took me 32 years to find them, they all still live in Houston. I'd always wanted to know extended version of myself and for my children and grandchildren.
Amber I am so excited for you and hugs all around. So happy that you were able to meet your half brother and attend his wedding. Fantastic seeing Granger and Lincoln passing the football back and forth. Granger is such a great Dad. Maverick is making his way to the terrible twos but he is so precious. London wants to watch her Dad on stage of which is so awesome, true daughters Love. Enjoyed and Much Love.
Amber, I saw you and the family at London's volleyball game on Tuesday night and it was great to see everyone there supporting London. My granddaughter was Rosalyn, the one on the opposing team who was celebrating her 10th birthday. All of her family, my son and his wife and kids, love to watch y'all here on TH-cam. Great video. I shared with my Granddaughter as she is estranged from her Dad, my son, praying that she will gain some understanding from you and your experience. I pray for this all the time but some additional prayers would be appreciated. I also think that sharing your experience from the loss of River and trying to get the information about water safety for children out to the world is wonderful. I found a half brother through 23 and Me as well. I was adopted, so this was/was not a big surprise! Since I have discovered more on the other side - I have 7 half siblings, 3 on my birth mother’s side and 4 on my birth father’s side. There is one sister in each side and we have met and are really all enjoying having sisters! Glad your meeting went well.

This message from Amber was just what I needed. I am on a mission to mend some relationships and make peace. You inspire me to be more humble and love like Jesus.
Keep going, Amber. You and Granger continue to inspire me with your courageous yet humble walk with the Lord. Watched this episode last night and wasn't going to respond, as you all have so many fans and followers, but the Lord laid it on my heart. I've been working on reconciling my relationship with my dad in recent years. I couldn't do it in my own strength, but through prayer and giving it to the Lord, He's provided me with the love and grace in recent years to be able to spend more time with my dad as he ages. The enemy tried to continue to divide and destroy and it caused me so much hurt, anger, and resentment in my younger years. I can look back now with a different lens, and I see that he never had a father figure in his life, and he had to endure so much pain and hardships in his own life with his own family. We're all fighting our own battles.

How wonderful that you made a mend with your dad. I personally know the struggle of having a strained relationship with a family member. My oldest daughter who is 25 moved out at 19 years old and for 6 years she has been, what I would say emotionally abusing her dad and me. This year has been pretty good with her. We live an hour apart and rarely see each other. We just celebrated her birthday in August, and long story short she again turned tables on us and basically said she didn't want to purse much of a relationship any further. After showering her with love and attention. She really hurt me, and I am angry. I waited for a few weeks to reach out, and finally caved and texted her to check on her only to find out I have been blocked. I am so tired of being treated like this that I blocked her back. Bad I know...but I am just so mad right now. I know the Lord is not pleased, but my heart is hardened towards her. It scares me to feel this way, because I feel like I am just done with her. I will always love her and cherish the time and I had with her, but I cannot keep allowing her to hurt me like this. Please pray that I will overcome this and find a way to forgive her one day.

I waited too long to reconnect with my birth mother (who was raised as my sister but had to have removed from our mother's home due to conflict) and now I regret it. I am so glad you shared this I also go thru struggles with my dad and step mom. I forgave them and try to move on. At times it’s hard and should pray more I am only child and daddy’s girl definitely. My mom I have good relationship with better than when I was younger.

People think about pool, lakes etc, but open toilets, and 5 gallon buckets too. If they fall in, their feet are usually off the floor, and shoulders are stuck too.

I’m Happy for your work in bringing drowning awareness! That’s truly awesome thing for you to do in Honoring the memory of your son. Sadly I can say I know how y’all feel when it comes to losing a son. I wish I could say I don’t know how you guys feel but that’s not the case. I lost my 31 year old son Dustin and his fiancée in a single car accident in 2016. Dustin was a born again Christian so I know he’s with the Lord in Heaven. But My heart still grieves for my son and I guess I always will.
I know I’m not supposed to question God because his thoughts are higher than my thoughts & his ways are higher than my ways & I’ll know God will answer me why in the by & by one day. But Dustin was just starting his life as a young man who had found his direction in life. He had went to cooking school & just started a promising career as a Chef 👨🏻🍳 because he dearly loved to cook. He was engaged to get married and he wanted kids and it was evident when he got around other small children in the family or even strangers kids for that matter. Because he had a real love for little kids and he’d have made a awesome daddy to some of my grandkids. Plus he really loved his fiancée and was so looking forward to being a husband. The highway patrolman who called me got my phone number in Dustin’s wallet.....Bless his heart thats gotta be a horrible job first to go up on the scene of something like that, then having to make that kinda phone call. But he said Dustin’s car hydroplaned in the rain and went off the road jumped off of an embankment and cut the top outta 2 trees 🌳 and ended up stuck in the top of the 3rd Tree. The Patrolman Tried to tell me he thought he passed away instantly. But I know differently & he was only trying to make it easier on me . Because the patrolman said he got up in the tree 🌳 with a very long extension ladder to the passenger side window to look inside. Dustins fiancée’s side of the car and looked in to see if there was any survivors. He told me Dustin’s fiancée had her seat belt on and Dustin was in the passenger seat 💺 with her with his arms around her hugging her and they was both embraced & deceased 😢. Dustin always wore his seat belt so he was alive just long enough to unbuckle and crawl into her seat to hold her! ( The car was a European sports car with bucket seats 💺& console in between.) So he’d have had to unbuckle and crawl over the console to get in the passenger seat with her!!!! Both died from impact trauma and head injuries. But from the hugging and so in love 🥰 pictures of him and her on his Facebook they passed together like Romeo and Juliet. The lord took them at the same time. But I still will always hurt in my heart that my 2 sons should’ve buried their daddy & not the other way around. But the hardest thing I ever done & will Ever do was walk up to that stainless steel table in that cold room in the Morgue to make a positive identification of my son 😭!!!!! I lost a part of my soul in that room that day that I’ll never get back! The only time I’ll ever get that part of my spirit back will be when Jesus leads me thru the gates onto the streets paved with pure Gold and walks me up to him & I am able to put my arms around my son again! As we’re both shouting joyful praises unto the lord Jesus in Heaven & he can show me around Heaven. Then take me to The Lords banquet table and show me the food he 👨🏻🍳 prepared for the lords table !!!!!!! The Bible says there will be a banquet table! So Maybe The lord needed a good Chef and it was my sons Time & his Duty for the lords kingdom???? . His Fiancée was a Server & A hostess in The nice restaurant that he was a chef in. So maybe The lord needed them for his banquet table in Heaven IDK🤷🏻♂️ only the lord knows and the Bible says that We’ll all know all about it all in the Great By & By. But Then and only then will I get that part of my spirit back that I lost by losing my Son. 😢 It’s been a very hurtful, painful mind numbing and even hurting in my very spirit process trying to make sense of all of it !!!!????? But the 23rd Psalms tells me that Even in the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for that his rod and his staff would be with me & comfort me all The days of my life.. And so far he has but there’s still a part of my heart ❤️ & my spirit that’s missing and it will be until I see my son again!!!!!!! Smith’s we will one day definitely see our sons again !!!! Jesus promised it and i 💯 believe it, U shall see River and I shall see Dustin Matthew ---- again on that Awesome day The Lord has set aside just for That Glorious reunion❤❤!!!!!!!
Amber so Glad you done ✅ just what Jesus said about forgiveness & not holding any animosity towards anyone else in your family. Happy That you went and met your half brother and That you are starting a relationship with him that is very respectable. Amber U done the righteous thing, Because Another thing that Jesus said about love ❤️ & forgiveness is: He said: If you cannot love & forgive someone on earth that U have seen ? Then how can U say U love God whom U have not seen ? And if U cannot forgive someone on earth then I will not ask my father who art in heaven to forgive you.
So Amber you done the honorable and righteous thing and U well pleased God doing so. May God bless you Smith’s and your family is my prayers and I pray that the Lord will keep healing your hearts for the loss that you have endured. But we have to stand on the promises of God that we will see them again and if he said it then I definitely believe it.

Our father was still alive and we have 8 brothers and sisters 10 children counting us.

My Mom & I have nvr gotten along. We were estranged for most of my adult life. She got Dx'd w/Dementia 2yrs ago & reached out to me. I've always been 4giving & it was weird actually looking f'ward to her Bday, Mother's Day, etc but we both agree on a few things; we hate that she has Dementia but if that's what got us together, we're ok w/that. I'm going up to Boerne this wknd to stay w/her & we're both looking forward to it.
I know now that her death is going to hurt me but.... i know my Dad's💔 waiting on her & he's smiling down in us, watching his wife & daughter enjoy each other.

Amber, you are sharing such important information about childhood drownings. Nicole Hughes was a wonderful resource when my daughter was looking into ISR for her girls. I am happy to report that both of my granddaughters completed ISR and are now in maintenance programs. Because of Nicole and you, my daughter has become an advocate for ISR and have led many parents to this program. Thank you.

Wow, that's so awesome you got to meet a long lost brother. Sounds funny to me though. Amber is around the same age as me. I am the same age as Granger I think. I have a daughter one year younger than her half brother. I started young, lol.
