Love your shows, didnt know how much of a following these cars have till I bought one. Would you post the TPMS units to Australia?, love to put them to use..with covid19 cant get any bits n pieces...
If you guys ever wanna buy older GTRs like 2009+ it has stickers on the hood, fenders, rear trunk. That way you know that the car was never in an accident. As you can't Buy replacement stickers that came with the car. It has vin number on them. Love how people say older GT-Rs have issues, you buying used car. You never know what you getting yourself into. Knew a guy with 2017 that had plenty of issues like a lemon 😂
Good tip. I had an 09, drove it for 150,000 km. Transmission broke, 1 was tsb clip, then I had clutch b basket breaking. I also had water in lights, av unit died. Other than that it was solid. I have a 2017 now and zero issues so far. I am sure newer ones are more reliable because they ironed out issues every year. This is available pretty much for any car not just GT-R. First year model usually has issues.
@@teabaggins3517 yep. 09 had issues with LCD . When i got mine and I'm second owner. The original owner replaced under warranty. I think with 2011 unit , i have backup camera. First thing i did. I build the trans. It is stage 2 ams trans that's done by Shep.. again i paid 45k for my GT-R. Not 90k for 2017+ ;) and im 😊
@@StreetDrivenDaily when my basket B broke I shipped a trans from Jacks to Japan where I live because building a trans here is more like 30,000 $. Jacks was just 10,000$... The clutch baskets though, I think 2017 are same as 2009 so probably mine will blow up at some point. The Jacks trans was starting to act up after 40,000km so I decided to just sell and buy another one. Incredibly sold it for almost same price I paid for it.. So overall the only cost in 7 years of ownership was the maintenance. I was FBO for 100,000km and engine had zero issues. Reliable car
I can't fit my hand between the front seat and rear seat of my GTR. Not only does the rear passengers need to be tiny...so does the people in the front seats in order to allow any leg room for the rear.
Dabbling with buying one of these or a 2020 a90 supra. Coming from a E92 M3 so weighing up performance, gripes, road presence etc. Convince me please! This vid has reassured me a lot
Paid 41k for mine. Not long ago. From private owner. Yeah it has 69k miles now. I'm second owner. No accidents. It's a 09. Car was never modified. Left me crap ton of room to mod it , first thing i did new rotors and pads plus stage 2 trans that can hold 800hp. Slapped rohana wheels on it and just enjoying it before I go crazy 😂
Feel stupid asking this.. but the lock to lock maneuver.. what exactly is this? Can you explain more.. Is that hard acceleration while making manuevers with steering wheel. How would you do this on a test drive.. not exactly on a track? confused. What's the concern with wheelhop from front and not rear? Is this because transmission should be using rear wheels.. and not front.. and only use front when rear is slipping?
No stupid questions here! The r35 front diff is completely open and should allow completely independent wheel rotation so excess wheel hop from the front suggests something isn’t right. No need to acceleration heavily, just slow speed manoeuvring will show any problems.
@@ScottishCarClan Yeah.. one more stupid questions.. Does this wheel hop indicate an issue with the front differential, or the transmission? Thanks so much !!
These are all gone sadly Kofi. We’ve had good success with the “T-Pro” TPMS sensors though, the Nissan ones are very expensive. They don’t pay us to say that, we just know they work good.
Hi Sam, not at all! That would be a great upgrade. Just be ready for bills for maintenance and repair to increase fairly dramatically. So long as you budget this in you'll love it!
When we published this video yes! 30k would buy one. In fact I bought one myself for 32k a few years ago. Now however your looking at 40+ minimum for an early one.
Hey! Don't be put off, the GTR is a very reliable car for what it is. The truth is if we cover any car in this much detail there will always be inherent issues. I don't make these buyers guides to scare you off, just to inform and let you make sure you buy a good one !
Had 2017 Gtr for a short time & I hated it tbh. Noisy very unrefined suspension , horrible clunky 6 speed gearbox , cheap economy materials used especially in the very now dated interior. IMO these are so over rated , over hyped & was a massive disappointment !
Thanks for the comment David. That's really interesting as most who have owned one love them! The way I view it because you're getting such good 'bang for buck' in performance terms its a little easier to overlook the cheaper materials etc. Was it an early GT-R you had or a later 2017 onward one?

Thanks Bradley, I really appreciate your comment and we will certainly keep going so long as people keep watching!

Hi there! are the TPMS still available? i genuinely have been looking to get some as 2 of mine are playing up 😩
Always wanted a Skyline, but the R35 is becoming a better option, with the price of Skyline GT-R's getting ridiculous.
That colour omg 😍

Great over view . Enjoyed watching . Thank you
That R35 looks so clean ❤
It was brand new 😁
Great review, my front speaker was basically rotten so needs replacing, looks like it gets damp. Thx
The negotiation on GTRs R35 are more like “take it or leave it” cause those are going sky high
What a car bro. I’d like this in the same colour. 😍😍😍

So, what does the blue smoke coming out of the exhaust signify?
It's tricky to capture on camera but it was just clear steam as the exhaust condensation burnt off. Blue smoke would be bad news!
Did I hear that right, you can pick up a gtr for 30k British pound? The cheapest in Australia is like 100k AUD
30k (uk GBP) would be an older CBA model and very high mileage! Current EBA more like £80k!
what is cba eba?

always wanted one of these but the 6 speed is a heavy argument to why im more interest in the American C8 Corvette or Hellcats
I can understand that. All I would say is the double clutch trans in the GTR is a very good fit! It matches the car very well.

Why you speal nassan instead of nissan?
looking to upgrade from a 370z would one of these be too much of a jump?
