      Might need to add - meet daily protein requirements, not too much clean whole foods, selenium, boron, iodine is critical used by all cells, hydration, maybe even 9 hours sleep depending on the person, low stress, and a great partner helps in hormonal stimulation

      I would say 7-9 hrs to sleep. Testosterone loss starts happening around 18 but at a slow pace however by the time we're in our 30s, it starts to pickup speed then REALLY kick up in our 40s. Supreme rest is more key in that age range not just from a physical standpoint but mental. We usually have FAR more going on in our minds at that age than around d 18. Many have families, careers, yada that reqlly add to our cortisol levels. We need to rest our minds, and if we're physically active that stresses our bodies, DEFINITELY at least 8 hrs is a must....but I digress....

      @@TreyIM22 recent studies show that testosterone doesn't peak until around 19..and doesn't gradually drop in many people because it is largely impacted by lifestyle more than age.. usually body fat and estrogen imbalances and later in life by an enlarged prostate and many different medications that are prescribed...there is no l reason for testosterone levels to drop naturally with age

    • @TreyIM22
      @TreyIM22 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @mslice09 While the age is negligible, I caught that the drop actually begins then, contrary to the belief that it just peaks and plateaus for a while. That was probably around 2 yrs ago I caught that but there are ALWAYS those who find different information when it comes to science.
      You're right about the different aspects that can affect test loss bug I was mainly focused on the sleep amount based on the original post about 6-8 hrs post and explained why. Most ppl never factor in the mental aspect of test loss and why we should aim for more sleep. Ppl overwhelmingly focus on the physical.

    Health and fitness raise it
    Better sleep raises it
    Abstaining from drugs raises it significantly
    Being successful in career and dating raises it, but it's unsure if it's large enough of a change for physiological effects

    For the past two months I have very noticeable reduction in sex drive in general. What changed in my life? Actually I started doing everything the host of the channel suggested to do: Regularly and very successfully workout in gym and also walk quite a lot. I gained around 14 pounds and mostly of muscle mass. I eat mostly protein and fat rich food like different types of meats and dairy products with some veggies. Very little sugar. I take multi vitamins + additionally D3 and glucosamine. I have pretty good sleep but not always 8 hours (no changes from my life before I started working out). I drink plenty of fluid.

    If you are extremely deficient with something, nutrition and a supplement may help. Otherwise, it will change next to nothing.
    I spent more than a year trying to optimize a lot of lifestyle factors with zero outcome.

    My free testosterone level was 483 2 years ago (I'm 81 now) and I felt great. Recently I felt real weak and had most of the symptoms of low T so I got tested and my T level had dropped to 341. My urologist was going to implant the pellets but when I got to his office he had changed his mind. He said even if he increased my T level to 483 again I probably didn't have the receptors to process it. I still don't know he was talking about. .

    • @DrAJ_LatinAmerica
      @DrAJ_LatinAmerica 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Pellets suck. Thats the best scientific term 😅. All my older patients do weekly at home injections. Fast and easy. All my athletes and young patients do daily micro dosing or at minimum twice a week. This helps to mimic body's natural function and balances other hormones. Yes there is truth to the fact you may not have sufficient receptor function. Think of the receptors as doors on the cells. If the doors are all closed or you lack doors, the T cannot enter the cells. Sometimes this just means high and higher amounts till you get the desired effects. However, then the doctor gets scared of law suits when you die of secondary effects. At your age, there are options, just don't try to hold the doctor responsible. A lot depends on your health. Exercise, Sleep quality, activity levels, hydration, nutrition, past health history and present health status. Many guys will require more than just T injections. They need full blood work that includes all major hormones, thyroid, muscle tissue samples and bone marrow samples. Verification of all marco and micro nutrients (vitamins / minerals level). Supplements for energy, performance and filling in any deficiencies. Without taking ALL rhe necessarily steps and tests, just T injections are a waste. Plus, once you start, you will need monthly blood work for a year to dial in dosages based on blood markers and your symptoms. Both are important. Can't treat numbers have to treat the person, but also can't treat a person without some data to verify secondary effects. Hope that helps.

    So I am on Trt. have been since a bad vasectomy, and they had to take my right testicle.....with trt i was around 450 7 months ago i started lifting and eating better same trt dosage and shot up to 917.... i haven't lost any weight. I gained 12 to 14 pounds, but i lost 8 inches, i guess 38 pants to 30s. Would just focusing on protien carbs and fats no calories do that much

    Is there anything natural that raises your testosterone? I'm a burn victim third degree burns from the knees up. They had me on growth hormone while I was in the trauma center for the two years and then took me off of it, I had a career ending accident, high voltage lineman, and I was told I never work again. After three spinal surgeries and three disc surgeries on walking again but I have no energy, constantly fatigued and the other down there problems. I really don't want to go on an injection because once you're on it you're on it for life. My sister is a doctor of holistic medicine and I was wondering if there's anything natural that would raise your testosterone levels. Any information with greatly help, thank you very much

    2:59 *The best data we have on nutrition is with the Mediterranean diet and so that's generally a diet that's high in poultry and fish vegetables healthy fats including sort of lowfat dairy olive oils avocados and nuts as well as healthy and unprocessed food.
    *The best data we have is actually with the healthiest of the 7 raw vegan diets ie raw sweet fresh organic fruits plus the non food nutrients etc, just ask Don Bennett*
