I’m so happy that this is the advice you’re giving your daughter. At 20 she’ll be well equipped for life, and mom is the top advisor. Your intelligence is so beautiful, Ms Helena Thank you for your existence, even that sounds corny 💛
Helena, this is such excellent advice. As someone who is enjoying their 38th year of marriage, I can say with complete agreement with you that the relationship between a husband and wife is more important than the career. Careers come, go, and change, but growing together allows you both to successfully navigate those changes. Both my wife and I and enjoying our best lives together now as we have both reinvented our careers several times and are now functioning in our individual passions.
I'm glad you shared this video.. like you I'm in my 40's and I wish I would've known how to pick the right partner to build with while you're building in career and life! I picked to wrong partner and It didn't go so well for the last 16 years. Divorced now and have to start basically over but I still have the experience and wisdom from over the years.. thanks for advice it's much appreciated Sister!
This was much needed. Thank you so much for this. I’m a high achiever as well and I was trying to wait until I got my masters to start dating again lol. This definitely hit home for me.
Advice to young men.. 1. Grind and build career to become the best man you can be. 2. Delayed gratification. 3. Do not make any financial or relationship decisions that can lead to a lifetime result.. Be with the person that wants you, not the one you want!
My kids keep asking why mom you keep talking about a plan...i want a 3 yr plan for yall career, we make schedules and I tell them follow and keep simple
