I think the absolute best part of this is that apparently Zarbon isn't even aware how what he says could be taken. Even Freeza is going through so much cognitive dissonance in the reveal that he is still "CONVINCED" his girlfriend is named Chuck somehow because he couldn't possibly comprehend the idea that Zarbon is so straight, he points out what another person says as awkwardly "really gay". Thus character was rewritten so wonderfully contradictory, it's amazing XD
That was a genius twist and made all he’s scene even better in retrospect.
It’s addressed in HFIL. During the sharing circle, he has to stop himself from doing it because he’s now aware of it.

I always envisioned him as Heterosexual Pan-Romantic. He seeks beauty in everything; man, woman or otherwise. That why he's so obsessed with his own appearance.

Honestly, TFS deserves a medal for their obvious talent in constantly cracking jokes at the same topic with so many different characters!
Zarbon is in my top 5 DBZA characters. You can either take what he says at face value or go somewhere else with it.
And they definitely did a great job at fitting almost all of his lines into that theme without those lines ever sounding out of place. Everything Zarbon said always felt natural and coherent, rather than feeling like the writing was forcing him to say those things whether or not they suited what was happening.

Seriously, this is masterfully all one long build up to a joke, the fact that Zarbon has a femenine kind of face, and gay stereotype voice and nearly everything he says is a gay sounding inuendo, builds up the idea of you thinking hes's gay, then eventually he mentions to Frieza about calling his girlfriend, impling he's not gay. ANd Frieza later saying "Girlfriend who I'm convinced is named CHuck." Implying that Zarbon seemed so Gay that Frieza can't mentally except the fact he might be straight. Great build up.

I love how they managed to give EVERYTHING he says a second, normal meaning.
That's the great thing about Abridged Zarbon. The things he says are only dirty if your mind lets them be. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with a single one of his lines. In a literal sense, they're all relevant and coherent statements to what's happening, rather than being forced innuendos just to drive the joke home without coherency. It goes to show that they actually put care and thought into his lines, rather than just making him sound gay to sound gay.
