      @@SorchaSublime Exactly why I won't own a Moog, I will be on deaths bed by the time I learn how to play it. She knows every module, what every knob does and what all the patching means and when to use it. That's years of learning. Sadly I will tinker with analog but I do love presets too

    SO EPIC, Moog, please, please, do a follow up breakdown series with Lisa Bella Donna, where she can break down her process into this amazing piece. Perhaps she could talk about her logic or motivations when making patches, her ideas about sound design, how she approached arrangements, etc. The slightest glimpse into her mind and her process would be greatly appreciated and I think would be an awesome video.

    • @Fraeg
      @Fraeg 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      even though I will never see, much less touch all the amazing gear she uses it would be amazing to get a "rig rundown" of her process. The level of tech she effortlessly navigates is astounding.

      NV _ME I’m sure someone will bring out a ‘skin’ sometime to transform the look of the original Grandmother . I personally like the colourful look of the original but appreciate when you have a large setup like Lisa’s, the black finish fits in better.

      I personally love the colorful Matriarch, with each ‘unit’ being identifiable by color. I would still buy the colored one, but I already own it haha!! Black is a fun alternative though 👍 Easier to match with other gear. Moog is just a wonderful company! I hope they never struggle again, and stay a strong company constantly producing beautiful products :)

    Moog has never sounded so good! Them working with Lisa hit the top of what synth music can be before their buyout. Her craft is at such a high level, I'm transported to another world before my intellect has a chance to analyze and ruin it. The highest praise, as rarely does art do this for me these days like when I was young and every genre was new and exciting.

    The semi-modular line of Moog gear in my opinion is their most exciting stuff in a looooong time. Look at that setup! When you see everything put together it’s quite impressive. For my $$ I’m in for this over the One or Subs any day. How can you be a synthesist, see all that, and not be in heaven? Lisa is just the best. She SELLS this product like no other. Lisa, though, manages to squeeze these machines for everything they’re worth and also keep things extremely musical and fun throughout. Really awesome video! Makes me want some Moog stuff!
