Why this lady isn't as well-known as someone like Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Wendy Carlos or Suzanne Ciani is absolutely beyond me! Sonic Sorceress indeed! Wonderful performance.
This is something I was talking bout the other day. The only thing I can come up with, is that she either doesn't want it or she doesn't know how to go about getting it. She should be playing 3k seats a night; like Nils Frahm. But, she's doesn't tour nor does she position her brand for the general public. She seems to only direct her music towards synthesists.
@@NAANsoft You can buy her music on Bandcamp from anywhere in the world. I'm french and know her work very well. But it's true that I discovered her by a video from Moog, which is aimed to synths fans. Excuse my english ;-)
Just found a ultimate key of happieness: a room full with Moog synthesizers of all kind, paired with the talent of Lisa Bella Donna. Simply mind blowing. If i would have 30K to spend to fill the room, i would live that dream too, cheers!!!!
My god those horns sound freakin’ gorgeous. It’s evocative of Vangelis’ “Blade Runner” at parts, but definitely its own composition. I *wish* I could just *make* a sound like anything here! Love it.
What a beautiful soul you have Lisa. My 12yo son and I spend many hours immersed in your musical creations (emphasis on musical) and we're putting time to developing our own musical art. One day we'll own a Moog of our own - how exciting! Warm cheers from Sydney - Dave and young William
Vangelis and Jean Michel would be proud brings back so many memories of my twin cassette deck in my sonic zone in my room as a young lad thank you beautiful track
62 years old now. started to listen Klaus Schulze when i was 12. Got Stockhausen, Terry Riley, Fripp, Eno, Pierre Henry, blues, jazz, gospel, whatever got through my ears because i wanted to hear "everything' in my life, which is quite impossible. So when i get stuck for a while with an artist such as Lisa or others, it means it touches me, "itches" my brain and gets my attention....you know what i mean. It's good to experience a challenge again.......
I am so over people who criticize the sound of TH-cam..... this sounds amazing!! Big, warm, clear, fat, dynamic... simply everything is there... what a great production.
I am seriously speechless Lisa. It is rare that I come across a video that I love/feel from the starting note/scene through to the end. Audio and video of your creation, absolutely phenomenal. Capturing your feelings while masterfully playing Ascension, amazing. I have never seen or heard anything this remarkable. Thank you. I'm so happy you are still here.
To watch something this special is truly humbling, as I used to think I was a musician....and then I heard Lisa. The technical intelligence beyond the actual notes is staggering.
When I see great artists like Lisa here, I always get a bit sad. Because I will never have the opportunity to meet and learn from them. And now, people of Moog, give Lisa a church!
Hallo . Bella Donna. Mother , too the moog .Synt . I have play the synth, for 45 years. And I am in love 💕.the way you played. Wow . And .you ar beautiful. It ,is fantastic.what you are playing.kiss .from . Rene' Pedersen Vejle Denmark.
The future of electronic music restored to us all. You cannot get any higher than this in todays world. Many can have synthesizers but imagination and musical sense makes the difference between those who have one and those who can play one at this capacity.
@@bozone8891 Sure, ya. I assume it's been edited, and it obviously took tons of preparation and talent to pull off, but still... such a good jam, song, whatever you want to call it. Someone could technically call this a commercial for Moog. Some genius was like, "What if we used our ad budget to make videos that people actually want to watch? We could commission good artists, and build a performance space for them, and help promote each other. The artists can show what can be done with our instruments, and we can introduce them to a wider audience." "Oh, yeah okay, I guess that's better than trying to trick people, like in a normal commercial. Let's do your idea, instead."
Those end faces in the last minute where she looks like even she can't believe the sounds coming out of the synth haha. So great. This just makes me happy to watch.
1:46 / 9:19 Lisa Bella Donna I am getting so emotional listening to you...I also own a Moog Subsequent and a mother 32; I only wish I had your fingers to perform like you....Beautiful sounds...Thank you!
Without knowing it, nor having researched it, I'll take any bet that Lisa will have once enjoyed a classical piano education.... She just plays so wonderfully... The fact that she lets her passion flow into electronic music is something that I especially like; because it doesn't happen that often.... Yes; just damn good sound!🙏😊🎶
Good lord, the amazing assembly of synths, the ethereal setting, with the absolutely immersive sonic palette like a summer French impressionist masterpiece
Thank was absolutely beautiful. Thank you Moog Music and Lisa Bella Donna. Amazing theme, programming, solo work and rhythmic accompaniment. This is why I fell in love with synthesizers 50 years ago. Classic!
You are amazing Lisa.
Legend says Mike Dean is hiding behind the modular creating the smoke effects
I hope its smoke effects...or someone call the fire dept. :)

Because she didn't start back in the 70s... 😉 And yes - Lisa is brilliant!
Because it is next to impossible to buy any CDs with her music in Europe.

holy crap, first time i listened on my monitors, second time with headphones, and i get the title now.
Once again, she proves her title of Sonic Sorceress is well-earned. Excellent work, Lisa.
Where have I been all these years?? I’m 65 and have only just discovered this amazing artist. No time like the present, I say…
Welp, I'm 62 & have been listening to 'Acid/Space Rock' since the 70's -I've only just discovered her myself! So -Ur not alone! 😒

How on earth can this have 94,000 views but only 5000 likes? I adore everything about this. Such beautiful sounds, melodies and leads.
Many people have watched it several times but can only like it once. 💜
I can personally account for at least 100 of those views 😊

Dear Lisa, Your music and life has really helped in my healing. Thank You, Blessings
This video must have millions of views. This is real talent, it’s hard to replicate.
YEEEES. MOOG and Lisa, those are 2 essentials in my life which i will never get tired of. ❤️
Ok.
Reminds me on Klaus Schulze in the early seventies. Good job Lisa!
I just feel lucky someone still makes this kind of music at this level. She's practically the keeper of the culture, in that regard.

Headphones heaven. This is a great showcase for Moog products. Lisa Bella Donna's composing/playing is glorious. KUDOS all.
This woman is a sage...so inspiring, and phenomenal playing. Thanks for this!
playing something like that with 64 tracks in protools is one thing. Doing that in real time? FANtastic
Agreed. A lesson to all you synthfluencers posting pics of your unplugged shiny new synths 😂
incredible performance.
The carpet reminds me in Klaus Schulze, Concert in 1977 in a Church :D
*The ending of this nice song is like reaching heaven* ...
I could listen to this forever...

great sounds all around. moog and lisa are the real deal...happy to be a part of the moog family after recently acquiring a sub 37.
In the rock progresive era, she would be in the same stage with Keith Emerson,Rick wakeman, and Jean michel jarre.
