Mine too. I can honestly understand that. The first thing when I came home (to Sweden) was to get a pizza with pineapple! Tabu in Italy. I love them all. Italian, Swedish...The pizza culture in Sweden has taken its own direction... I think the pizzas here similar to the NY-style. Thin crust, cheese, and then all kinds of toppings.

I love deep fried pork chop. I put a bit baking soda on the pork to tenderize it. I dry out the salt in the sauce pan, and add 5 spice in the mixture as well. And of course gotta have a bit of msg in the mixture. And let the corn flour rest a bit, so stick to the pork better. Rather than drop it in the fryer right away, the flour will come off some of it.

@@carolannborison1829 authentic 1Chinese cooking recipe is always has it, but is optional if you dont want to use it. Chicken powder has msg in there too. It is the same thing when you cook a prime rib, or Picanha, you want that layer of fat. It is unhealthy, and it doesnt taste the same without it.
You can add lime powder to the seasoning in the bowl as well. Just don't go overboard with the powder till you know how strong it is, as it varies between brands afair bit. Thanks for the video, take care, God bless one and all.

Tried this recipe last night and absolutely loved it, I found smaller pieces tastier and also crisper to eat. The sliced garlic cooked in the pan until crisp were a revelation to me, I like the taste of garlic but it's very strong, frying it takes the edge off it.

Hello Tina 😃 I just give it a wash with cold water. I never had an issue with smell cause the pork I buy here is super fresh. Depending on how funky it is, for example if smell sour than it’s gone bad throw it away. Otherwise you can try some baking soda to clean and then wash with cold water 😃 Let me know if you’ve got more questions 👍
Strong smelling pork is usually from uncastrated Male pigs. This is called Boar Taint caused by a naturally occuring hormone. Use pork from female pigs if you cant buy castrated male pork.
Try a double fry by dropping in again at a higher temp also try using potato starch instead of cornflour or a mix of the two which I find gives a much better result.
Hello ☺ Of course you can, but don't use a cut that has too much fat if possible. I've done it before with a cut of pork belly with too much fat wasn't so good.

The latest victim is Jing Fong which is the biggest restaurant in Cinatown. This the one across from the police precinct. A lot of Shanghai and Asian fusion restaurant are poping. You can not even get a decent pork bun anymore. Mai Lai Wah is the only place that sell them hot but now being run by the younger generation. Big Wong also closed but yesterday I saw it open again, maybe a different owner. The place that sells Bak Tong Gou, Rice Flour, Tofu on Mott Street is also close now. Also a lot of resaturant close at 9PM or maybe 10PM. The only thing that I think did not change is that PARKING you car is still a nightmare.LOL
