Muffler delete to me sounds to ricer-esque I have a 3.6 single cab and can not figure out what I want to do because I don’t want the fast and furious sound but my nitrous will perform better with exhaust breathing better
Getting mine done today. I made the mistake of getting a Flowmaster 40 put on my V6 and grew to hate it. Having a factory dual exhaust put on today. Your video made me want to more then I already did before. Thanks!
No problem. I tried flowmaster to. After my first migraine I swapped to this. Very very mild but aggressive enough under load to make me happy...and keep me sane.
@@mackmzle any thing that fits a 4th gen Ram with the Hemi can be made to fit the V6 in the same manner as this OEM one. I had a flowmaster American thunder cat back on this truck before the OEM duals. It fit no problem. It droned so bad my wife literally had tears in her eyes after a short trip....that's why I went with OEM. Either way you will need that driver side exhaust hanger and non OEM may need the dual exhaust bumper as the tips may not have the range of adjustment the OEM does.
I did the exhaust change from single to dual in 2016 when I bought my truck. I also bought a dual cut out muffler. Better sound better look. I didn't get any gas mileage change. I bought my dual system off craigslist for 100 bucks.
Unfortunately I had to trade the truck in as the work I was doing with it was beating up that poor V6 with all the hilly terrain around here. I've gone to a Hemi . I miss that little six buy the V8 handles our terrain under big loads better.
Thank you! Yup the factory resonators are in place. From the front of the muffler back to the tips is 100% the same as what a factory Hemi equipped truck would have driven off the lot with.
This was a 2019 Classic. You could use any 2009-2018 Hemi exhaust. Also could use any of the "classic" trucks(2019-2020 that were 4th generation Rams) Hemi exhaust
Best sounding exhaust for the 3.6L. Ram should definitely make this standard

@@mackmzle it was just a local wreckers. Any gasoline 4th gen Ram with factory duals will have it.

Could other insulator hangers work? They sell them at autozone and oreilly

Unfortunately it's not a kit. It's the stock muffler/ pipes for a Hemi equipped truck
I don't know if the video does it justice or I am just wanting a different sound but I still prefer the muffler delete with single factory resonator

Was $300 from a wrecker who had a Ram that had the front end torn off on an accident.
Just did mine today. Got my set up for $200. I got lucky.

two words, saw zall. you'll probably wanna buy a new manifold anyway
Just a 13mm and a 15mm and some wd40 or water to remove the isolator and hangers that’s for the whole muffler and tailpipes

Was just from a local wreckers. Any dual set up from any 4th gen will fit including from the "classics"
Did mine today. Just gotta make sure you get the middle hanger. It's kind of a pain cuz it goes between the frame and the bed.

Nope they actually got better by about 1L/100km
