    I was afraid when you cut off the tang! Then I saw what you were doing and was happy.
    Was the triangle insert a cermet?
    do you think adding flats with a mill would help more? or is just a cylinder good?

    Great video! Thank you for the detailed explanation of how to restore a damaged drill bit on a lathe. However, I think using a diamond file instead of a regular file could yield even better results. Thanks again for sharing!

    Para uma broca deste Ø seria melhor soldar uma haste e reconstruir o Cone Morse. O mandril não suporta o torque desta broca. 😊👍

      Concordo consigo, mas pode utilizar um mandril de pinça, que segurará definitivamente, ou soldar um cone! Obrigado, amigo, e bem-vindo!

    Once you get into larger drills (25mm +) it is easier to sharpen them with a belt sander.

    Tento nápad mi jako skvělý rozhodně nepřijde. Čelisti v hlavičce jsou při takovém rozevření příliš hluboko a nezachytnou už tak krátkou stopku vrtáku.

    Three flats would be beneficial so it won't slip.

    Friction chucks only have the capacity for bits the size of their widest opening. Demming bits will overpower by self tightening. You may not be able to get the chuck to open after drilling with the repaired bit without a damaging pipe wrench. (Guess how I know this)
