A new balance rod end can be machined for less than the repairing cost and time taken.
And much stronger.
Not in a 3rd world country with little access to materials and free access to slave labor.

I don't think you're taking into account how cheap labor is in those countries. That machinist is probably working for $4 an hour .. my only concern is that this doesn't seem as strong.
No way is that going to hold If they already snapped the original. A waste of effort.
Tell me you pay nothing for labour without telling me you pay nothing for labour.
