Your channel popped up on my suggested list. I saw your Audi Quattro on the shelf which made me go and check what's still in my storage box in my dads garage, I have 2 of them, one working and one I got for spares, years back you didn't see them very often so now I expect they are like hens teeth. Tyres have perished on some so will be looking for bits I suppose. So apart from the 2 Quattro's I have a falcon, an optima mid (not sure if its a pro), a lunchbox and a spare one in bits by the looks of it, a hornet in bits ( I kept breaking the chassis) Some have upgraded bits for racing (not pro but a group of us who met up and raced on the local bmx track) I thought I had a Ford Ranger, I was disappointed when there wasn't a ranger in there, I always wanted one. But they've been stored since the early 90s' so couldnt remember exacty what I had. I love the original cars more than anything as I remember playing with them as a kid, and would like to get back into them. Not worried about racing them again, mainly just getting them back to a good condition and knowing if things will still work like the radio gear. Its all still the original stuff inside. I will also pop onto the FB group as I think I will need some tips on rebuilding and what I can upgrade, what works and what doesn't. I have good engineering and fabrication skills and hope to have a lathe soon so may be able to make small parts if needed. Thanks for the tour, watched a few vids. Bringing back a few memories. First time viewer and love the content, Amazing collection!! Surprised not to see a Tamiya 3-speed Truck, Clod or Kyosho Monster Truck.. Again, great collection of some models I would love to have like Turbo Optima, Egress and Top Force EVO which are missing in my stable. Subbed and Like!

You don't need to to completely change the suspendion of the hotshot. Just put it in a drill and polish it. Ryan Harris has a video on rebuilding a car. He explains it pretty well in there

Absolutely brilliant video, it took me 2hrs to watch, I had to stop and go and clean myself up from drooling everywhere. It makes me just want to buy a kit and make a queen out of it.

pack the 959 tail mount with moulding putty and force it back into its shape then carefully heat from surface side with a lighter until it softens (be careful) let cool and remove putty. Should hold old form.
You should get a Vanquish VS4-10pro truck. The truck builds like a Tamiya kit but with more metal parts. The truck is very expensive. Probably even more expensive in the UK because of the tariffs. The truck is worth the money. You should look into getting this truck. You could build the truck on your show and give your impressions of it. The assembly instructions are excellent too.

You need a Wild One, great little buggy. With the right set up it kept up with my Ultima.

I have a re-release nib gold pan rc10 quite nice and I actually have a vajra really really nice got it dirt cheap, like 75 bucks because the box was damaged but the car is amazing good sturdy car, nice collection you have there

Love these vintage cars. I always wanted an RC10 gold pan but my parents were cheap so I had to settle for Nikko. LOL. Anyway I was able to buy an RC10 gold pan re-release about 5-6 years ago. I never opened it and ended up selling it at a $500 profit. I was stupid, I should have bought 6 of them back when the local hobby shop had an isle full of them for $270. This way I could have built one as a runner, one as a shelf queen and sold 4 of them for a $500 profit each.
You're right you should have. I made an extra five grand off of those. And I still have to. I'm trying to get up some more money to buy the new optimum mid-release that came out. I was really surprised about how much I got out of the rc10s a friend of mine told me that he sold a bunch of them is the only reason I did. I got a tricked out real vintage rc10 made out of nothing but the best parts from early '80s is probably worth three grand and in mint condition. I would be too scared to even put that thing on anything but carpet it was so expensive. I got the first graphite flat chassis that came out for the rc10 and there's no scratches and it's brand new. I've even got telescoping drive shafts that I found that came out for that rc10. I had them on my original rc10 in the 90s. That's the only reason I knew they were made. Titanium all the way through including the screws ball pens and tie rods and King pins 64 pitch gears on the stealth training along with a light sink. All the parts were dyed black that were white. Plus RPM arms on the front and long shocks on the front with the extended shock Tower by JG. hold up I'm out of breath LOL I've been collecting that one for probably about 8 years. I can build I just can't paint so the next time I'm spending money on that one that's what I'm doing is buying a pre-made body that was painted by some master painter around here. You got a $3,000 car with a single-tone painted body just doesn't look right LOL. You honestly should probably buy some of the optimum mids and turbo optimists because it's the same thing as far as I'm making money off of mine too I've already made over a grand profit off the turbo Optimus I bought in the last month. Seriously it's something worth looking into bro I even took out a loan to do it and take it back the first week

When I watched you're one video that had to do about the Tamiya Striker I failed comment on it.
I wanted to mention that back at the end of the 80s I bought a Futaba FX10 and now I realize that that vehicle is the Tamiya Striker.
Do I still have sadly I don't.
I've only owned three hobby grade RC cars from the 1900s the monster Beetle was the first one the Futaba FX10 and the very first Traxxas Stampede.
The monster beetle is the only one I still have with all the original equipment minus the body.
The body had disappeared within the past 8 years.
Majority of my car's I have purchase is in the 2000s from the beginning all the way up to now buying the Tamiya vintage releases and about two-thirds of what I bought from the early 2000s I still have and keeping as collectors item even though I'm still running them.
PS if you want a real challenging kit to put together and it will be expensive is the Tamiya Bruiser.
That kit about puts all the other ones to shame as in how many parts there is to put together and the cheapest you're going to find it is on rc mart eBay store which is cheaper than buying it on their website.

Not sure if you're still looking for an original Fox or not, but I have one I'd trade for your NovaFox. I restored it about 15 years ago, sorting parts from all over the world for it before the re-re came out. It's not perfect, but it is in good shape, runs well, and all parts that were assembled for it are vintage. Let me know.

What a collection man, I'll have an original Fox for sale in the next few weeks in Australia. I watched the whole video, as your collection is really impressive. Without going into major detail, you must have a really well paid job, to be able to have such a range there. Or is TH-cam your job these days?
What are you selling that Fox for? I remember paying $400 for one around 4 years ago shelf queen, ended up selling it.
@@kasparov9 it will be around $400. It's clean and tidy. Has original electronics and stock 540 motor. I don't have a transmitter though.

@@RCKickschannel i BOUGHT 2 Italian red on line 2 100ml cans for monster beetle £13 so useing car spray for hard boddy black edition monster beetle shell and blitzer beetle even if no correct to do so as tamiya paint very expensive+ im good with a spray can had lots of experience in past from a kid

Yes but you have to face it forward not sideways like the other cars. This is because the lunchbox wheel base is so small and the tyres are so big

@@aronlinkhorn9867 The black is the most sorted of the Avante cars but you do pay for this as it's one of the most expensive Avante cars in the range. Personal choice really as for me, I would spend that on an 88 Avante but it depends on if you are collecting or fully driving it? If its to be driven often then I would go for a 2011, black or Egress.

I have two RC10 Gold Pan cars, one vintage and one rere. I was lucky enough to find an RC10 Graphite last year and I'm currently keeping an eye out for a Worlds car and RC10 B2. I have a bunch of Kyosho cars now from all the vintage Mids and a Fantom, Turbo Optima, Tomahawk and Javelin. You can find vids on all these cars in the RCKicks video archives.
