In this video I'll show you how to check coolant (water) temperature in your BMW E60, E61, E63, E64 OR E65. Car used in this video is M-Optic BMW E60 530 xDrive model 2006. with 231 BHP.
I also do not have a year 2004 3.0D E61, from position 7, so where the coolant temp. should be displayed, the normal display of the time and ambient temperature comes immediately.

I assume you have to repeat the whole process every time after engine shut off?
