Kuzumichi must had the "I Can Fix Her" mentality when it came to Yumeko, which is rarely, if ever, a good way to look at someone you want to date. So when things inevitably didn't go as he planned, he started insulting her. Thankfully, since it was still early, she hadn't become dependent on him, so could easily drop him like a bad habit. Yuito, on the other hand, always liked her, no matter how she looked, and in fact, wanted to help get her back to her old self again. He helped her gain her smile and confidence back, and once she realized he always liked her, she was ready to finally give in to her own feelings. Those two will be happy forever now.
Shout out to my Co-Star, Sarah Lynn, who did amazing on this one. Glad to hear her back here again.

The "I can fix her/him" mentality is very condescending. If a person thinks you need to change just to be appealing to them, then that person isn't right for you. Dating a project is a waste of time.

Serves Kuzumichi right for what he did to Yumeko. It was really nice of Yuito to help Yumeko get back the weight she lost so she can be herself again. And it was really sweet how the two became a couple at the end. But man, 16:07, did she gain weight in all the right places.

The "I'll make your life great" mentally was really stupid. Kuzumichi got what he deserved in the end. As for Yumeko, she learned her lesson and ain't no pushover; I'm glad things worked out for her and Yuito.

It is every bit the mc fault too. He is the one waiting for graduation to confess because he didn't think anyone would confess to her. In a way he was looking down on her. The jerk seemed to saw some potential in her, he just didn't have that mc cooking ability where all the weight transfer to boobs.

The random guy asked her out, it was the first time someone showed romantic interest in her, he asked her to lose weight and she wanted to make it work, MC told her friend not to tell her about the potential love confession and she only broke that promise when she found out FMC was also interested in the MMC.

In a relationship wasn't that easy you need to think about it hard who knows you might be married to him or her in the future and suffer for it. Also someone who truly love you might got hurt and that someone might better who would cherish you .this story coultd have end badly for the mc if the jerk wasn't a jek specially how the fmc dedicate herself to him even if she didn't love him. Its just luckily for the fmc that its only a month passed the mc haven't move on yet well the story just tossed out the MC's feelings here.

Ever heard of a girl with low self esteem? I knew several, that liked specific guys but always fell for anyone who showed them attention cause they thought they weren’t good enough. That and whenever told to do something they’d just comply. One example, my ex-coworker dated 5 guys in 4 years, she was over weight and she thought she was ugly but one of the nicest girls ever. The one guy she liked ended up with another coworker , they married and had a daughter. This was almost 20 years ago. She still talks about him, it’s sad. So reality sucks and she is relatable to fmc of this story except she was lucky and got the guy.

That bastard of her ex wanted her to lose weight but he supported her in the right way? No. And on top of that he laughed at her sacrifice in front of her friend. This story was different because it didn't have the classic return of the ex wanting to get back together as if nothing had happened. And I'm glad it wasn't, I confess it was better that way. Yumeko’s voice acting was pretty good. It felt mostly natural.
Yuichi’s and Kuzumichi’s voice acting was wayyyy too much. If you make the voice deeper and start slurring words, it would probably start sounding like Muscle Man from Regular show.
Idk if the VA’s get a visual aid of the characters while reading the script, but the male didn’t seem to fit the emotion of it very well. Sounded like too much of a caricature.
Fate of Kuzumichi: after the school found out what he did to Yumeko, he was humiliated by the whole school which made him drop out of school and became a shut in. Years later, he saw Yumeko and Yuito walking to the store together with their kid, which made him even more depressed and ran back home but got ran over by truck kun which killed him and nobody cared

Not gonna lie, if I’m dating someone and I tell them they should lose weight, I’m not gonna just leave em in the trenches to fend for themselves. I’d go through the process with them, help with meals, workout together, and oversee the progress with them, not just leave them to starve themselves like this. This was not the right way to go about it, and Kazumichi didn’t help at all.
