Actually I don't understand why mc mother didn't take mc with him , leaving him with his dad knowing what type of person he is. I know she is angry with his dad, child was her own blood ,she carry him for 9 months shouldn't she have a little maternal love. I hope things get better for you. I too know what that shit is like. After my dad passed away my mom and I got into a bad fight over her selling off a bunch of stuff my dad was going to leave me. If she needed the money I didn't care that much about her selling it. But she went behind my back to do it. Since the fight she publicly disowned me. Fortunately I was already a grown man and didn't need her approval of how I lived my life. But it still hurts at the time.

before i start, the thumbnail art looks beautiful and it's been 3 weeks since i would ever see this art style and character design from this clip called "a beautiful girl had memory of her past life and suddenly started talking to me" but the script and story was all over the place. i wish we knew more on why kanda went outta her way to help shuto. i find it fucked up that his own dad bails on him and then comes back for money. serve that fucker right. the way kanda kissed shuto felt wonderful as she really liked him from the beginning and even hugging up to him was both funny and cute. her dad was too much. this felt wholesome but the dad part is what killed me along with his backstory involving his mom leaving him.
The fmc helped the mc because she is genuinely nice and has a crush on the mc
I would also like to know why the mom didn't get custody over the kid. With a gambler dad in debt it should have been easy

Mikiko's father and mother have in fact accepted Shuto as their future son-in-law and therefore as part of the family, also taking charge of his schooling. All this is truly commendable, but I get the idea that perhaps they are overloading the boy too much.
Shuto is truly grateful to them for taking care of him, and agrees to help them out with the shop.
However, it seems that the protagonist is convinced that he has to give the best he can to repay them for their kindness, and therefore gives me the idea of working with them when he is not at school or studying.
This emerges when at 18:36 Mikiko tells him that her father is making him work too much and that she can't talk to him except at school.
If what I hypothesized was true, it makes me think that Mikiko's parents did not fully understand how much the boy feels indebted to them and therefore tends to "sacrifice" himself more than necessary to try to feel less indebted.
Surely, seeing the protagonist enthusiastic about working in the shop and never seeing him complain, it is normal for them to think that the boy is really interested.
But perhaps they should also have thought about the situation, the boy's past and how he might feel towards them.
But as I was saying they were commendable towards him and he can be forgiven for this possible shortcoming.
One might think that they make him work and keep him busy to prevent their daughter from taking advantage of him and finding herself with a grandchild arriving sooner than expected...🤣

Hearing the protagonist apologize at 20:44 when Mikiko's father tells his daughter not to "profane his son-in-law" honestly leaves me a little perplexed.
Why did he feel the need to apologize having done nothing wrong?
He was forbidden to sleep with the girl, not to speak to her in his room 😏.

it's clear that the father was angry with his daughter and not with him, yet something in him made him apologize.
Is it a psychological factor due to how the boy feels indebted to them?

I don’t mean to criticize, but it’s odd hearing the Dallis Mackenzie’s (the female VA) pronunciation of the MC’s family name. The male VA (Angelo Toledo) pronounced it correctly if the game “Judgment” is anything to go by (Kuroiwa is a prominent antagonist in that game).

It is always weird writing when they do these fake surprise confession moments. The fmc parents were funny especially the dad at the end.
