Axial® enthusiasts have come up with several scratch-built methods to give Wraith 2.2 rigs smaller wheels for closer-to-scale proportions. The Wraith 1.9 RTR, however, is the first and only one created by Axial designers specifically to deliver Wraith bashability and technical rock crawling capability while running on 1.9 wheels and tires. This vehicle expertly merges the original Wraith full tube chassis with the AR44™ axles and AX10™ transmission of the SCX10™. Further adjustments, such as reducing skid plate and lower rail size, increase ground clearance enough to power over rocks, sand, mud, and any other kind of backyard bashing. The Axial® Wraith™ 1.9 is a new, 1/10 scale, ready-to-run platform that delivers it all - with the exciting scale looks you want!

Originally I was a little worried about the 1.9" tire hight. Only because I am still stuck back in the 4.30" tall Ripsaw times! After a little research on these tires, I see they are 4.70" tall. This makes me really happy, because I can add a 4.75" tall G8 tire and be totally happy!!! ;) This means I will finally have a Wraith thats just shy of unstoppable!!!😈
Something fresh and new. Looks great, capable and a lot of fun to drive on the trails.

Not sure about that $370 price tag though! Okay if it was running the adjustable AR44 Axles, rather than the one piece Axles then I would be okay with the $370 price... However the metal gears in the three gear transmission, are a decent factory upgrade!!! ;)

The only reason I question the price tag is because the new TRX-4 sport comes with portal axles and has a lot going on in just the axles alone! This new 1.9" Wraith has lots of plastic, and "single piece axle housings". I do have to give Axial Racing the awesomeness factor on this new 1.9" Wraith, because it is for sure high up on the awesomeness factor!!!
So I gave in an got one. Gotta say I love this rig. Funny y'all make a rtr soon as I build my own 1.9 wraith. Which I have a vid of it falling over 100 feet off a cliff the other day an only broke a c hub keep up the good work and keep building durable awesome rigs and we will keep buying and supporting y'all 💪👍👍

but I hope you guys fixed the ar44 plastic! My scx10.2 axle housings bend super easy can see the rear bow on steep climbs! Then the rear housing stretched tell the grears stripped within 3 months! The axle housing plastic is way to soft my buddy even had holes in this 10.2 honcho axle diff covers in less then 2 months!
That's sad because my og scx10 ran for yrs with 0 issues! Same with the original scx10.2 of my buddy's the 3 piece axle housings are a Harder stronger plastic!
New housing feel like soft ecx plastic!
