I’m a huge fan of the v-bucket, they hold close to double what a digging bucket does and save a lot of time cause you’re just straight bulking no messing around with your slope. Thanks for watching bud 👍🏼
Truthfully, those buckets are stupidly handy to have available. Sure it's one more thing to bring and chain on to truck, but well worth it to have the use of. Beautiful ditching is one thing that makes the engineers love you, then leave you alone to get back to work.
When digging ditch I love them so much you could weld it on there Lol. They don’t work that good in hard ground though, too much surface area to pull through the ground. Best part is you can bottom dig and be healing the ditch as you go. No wasted movements, just heal bulking and it’s done
Thanks bud, I notice the audio isn’t as good once I got in the 350 from the 290 though. 350’s are way louder, so I’ll have to figure something out for that.
It’s just a little too wide with a V-bucket and not enough frost. I do it sometimes with the V-bucket if there’s lots of frost and straight walled top. Way easier with a digging bucket to spin off your ditch cause it’s so narrow
I guess he got some nerve damage in his hands and was forced to retire :( I actually got to work with him for a week about 8 years ago, super nice guy and one of the best hoe hands I’ve ever worked with. Probably sound alike because we’re both Albertan
Cool technique brotha.. I run a 350 aswell.. still learning only got like maybe 700 hours.. so I'm learning everyday!!!!!!
Same way I do it, minus the v bucket. Wish we had one sometimes. Thank you for sharing with us pal

Making a hole to get that last bit of dirt, that is awesome, keep up the videos they are helping.👍
Awesome bud 👍🏼

And I do love the v bucket

Good job
Not to bad!
So confused as to why you didn't just dig your whole trench and then spin off, instead of digging from the side like that?

Bad ass dude where is this?
Alberta, Canada
How do you get the machine out of there?
Either walk the spoil pile passed the next machine/machines or wait for the pipe to get lowered in beside you and pull a plug to get back on work side
You sound just like Barry Kozdrowski, I wonder what ever happened to him?
I agree with that

You can pick up where he left off. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Keep putting these videos up and us hoe operators will watch!
Good job
